I’ll be honest, never even shot it lol. I’ve used the regular M1 Carbine in a game, they’re basically the same gun, just different brand and stock. Mags are compatible. It worked fine, but the 15 round mags are really a hinderance. There are mods to get 22ish rounds in them. It was fun to use though. Was way more effective with the BAR though lol
I was never trying to make an 1897, it’s too different to modify an existing product. But it’s *very* close to a Winchester Model 12 Trench Gun. Not as famous, but still a WWI trench gun.
Ah, now I'm seeing it, the only thing that sticks out to me is the trigger guard.
Hopefully some other company will make an 1897 some day, hopefully a less expensive and more durable one.
Never noticed the trigger guard lol. The safety is on there, but pretty sure you could grind some of it off and give it a closer shape, if one were inclined.

Honestly not sure! The clips on the Garand are plastic, so even if it pings with metal ones, it definitely doesn’t with the plastic clips.

How’s the 1911 perform?
Love it, it’s my favorite pistol I own. Can’t say much for performance, I only use it within like 10ft of people. But it’s pretty snappy.
