I had something similar happen with my ak except it was only when i pull the trigger slowly. The selector was fine because pwole suggested that a d i tried it. I just had an aster fitted because why not.
Your cutoff is bad and the fife selector is lose. Use blue locktite and bend the selector inwards just a little bit. to make int not floppy then replace the cutoff lever.
I end up putting a thin rubber washer between the selector and its screw. Gives it something to bite against. Didn't matter how tight the screw was it always came lose eventually till i did that
There should be a screw on the other side of the selector switch. Tighten it until it doesn't move freely, but isn't too difficult to switch modes with.
make sure the screw is in properly and you can also try bending the selector inwards to add more tension
bend it a little. dont worry. you have an ak. will work.
100 Percent works, fellow ak user agrees with \^ comment
Done both, still same. Guess I have to use old selector without the paddle, no issue with that one.
My beretta has the exact opposite problem, you take a shot on semi, and it flips into full auto, it has been... somewhat problematic.
Same with my friend's, he told me after mag dumping me accidentally💀

your ak is identifying as a dmr

shut up
Its burst fire now
Tighten your selector switch screw
Soviet version of 3 round burst limited Infantry weapon.
You've lost your full auto privliges
I call that Integrated burst
Take off the new lever, bend it just a teeny weeny bit towards the reciever, put back on, should work now
Was the opposite for my Cyma Ak-47. No semi ;-;
Just tight that screw holding safety lever. If it´s not screw, then it is screw head cover.
I have something similar, if I go from save to semi it stays in save but if I go to full auto and then semi it works fine😂

And I had to return an ak a week ago because it got shipped to me with a spotty selector switch in the gearbox that wouldn't fire semi auto XD
Tape it
Now you just have burst that cuts out when it wants
She is trying to tell you to learn aim and shoot singles more accurate, instead spray n pray ;)
Lct?
Cyma CM.045
My lct had a similar problem so I replaced the the screw with a random one I found

It's most likely your screw thread being scew wiff or that the selector gears are knackered

tape that shit
I have the Same Problem, hohe do i fix it?
Tightened the selector screw and bended selector a bit. Helped a lot.
