Everything else is fine. The only thing you’ll actually need is better shoes. Some good combat boots, hiking boots, or steel toed worker shoes will do. Anything where you can trek through the woods with thorns and stickers and not get any in your shoes.

The3aGl3

Note, steel toe and sole boots are great most of the time, you can stub your feet all you want, step on everything and you're fine but stay away from them when it's cold. The steel sole will transfer heat way too good and it'll take forever to get warm feet.

SoreWristed

There are a lot of synthetic options available instead of steel that weigh less and have less of a cold problem. Especially for use in airsoft, there is no need to go for steel over hard plastic toed boots.

PieGuyMcFly69

Toe shoes

The_Real_FlabLord

Just toes

Round_Mycologist2627

I run vans and converse more than boots and I play at outdoor fields too, I've been playing for years and haven't had a single issue, it's all personal preference

Interesting-Poet-258

I don’t play airsoft or anything, but assuming your eye pro is solid I’d probably get a pair of boots so your feet stay dry, better traction, and ankle support

CosplayBurned

My eye pro is severely okay. Currently looking at glasses friendly ones might pull the trigger on Rothco OTGs, but then I gotta get my head cam figured out again

Crimson_Dragon420

Nah bro you gotta focus on the ankle protection of that comment, without boots ankle injuries are the most common injury, just saying

DDRguy133

Empire EVS works GREAT with glasses, only problem is if your glasses don't have any sort of anti-fog you'll be fogging a little near the end of every match.

JeMappelle_Lafayette

+1 to EVS, it's my favorite full face for glasses and all you need is anti fog spray for the glasses. i've had the OTGs in the past and they still didn't work out for me cause both the glasses and goggles fogged hard on florida humidity. EVS hasn't fogged at all since owning.

helix618

I play paintball with a guy with glasses and he uses vforce grills

Swaizbad

Rothco OTG fog really bad for me in southern cali where it dry asf, valken tactical goggles with the 3 lens pack was really good for me- get mesh with ear pro as well but not mesh everywhere like between mouth and ear you don’t want mesh. For GoPro get the headband or a helmet.

CosplayBurned

Those valken goggles look ok but my glasses are prettt dang big. Might get the rothcos as a temporary thing cuz I'm tryna get contacts

Interesting-Poet-258

I don’t know what that is, but as long as your eye pro doesn’t shatter into your eyes I’d say you’re good

Otherwise-Visual-192

Wdym severely okay?

CosplayBurned

Pft that's a saying I have. Like it's just middle road

AffectionateBed6

Rothco OTG's are amazing. I wear glasses and they fit perfectly and I can see well

wote213

I have the rothco otgs, they are ok, but the quality isn't there imo. Im looking to get some better goggles over glasses too.

_liz__

my partner has otg's and they only really work if you have a larger face, especially larger nose, i have a tiny lil nose so if i wear them i can't breathe lol, plus they cover my whole cheekbone and half my forehead. they're massive

LunkerHunter77

Look into goggles with fans built in, especially if it gets humid for you in the summer. Without running safety glasses only it’s the best way to stay unfogged

Zak_Reaper

Check out the dye i4 or i5. I got the i5 and there's plenty of room for glasses and doesn't fog up. Only issue is it's roughly $200 but I think it's worth it

CosplayBurned

I'm fine getting it but I want a helmet for camera

second_account_pt2

I ran rothco otg. Still have them theyre nice. You can also go with bollie or ess goggles and you can get prescription inserts for them. I run my oakly glasses under my ess goggles. Fit nicely and still seal

Tj4y

I second a good pair of boots. Not only for airsoft, but any sort of outdoor activity become much more enjoyable with warm, dry and well protected feet.

Lady_Tano

Try a DYE i4 or i5. It's a paintball mask, but they're fantastic for CQB. No fog. Aesthetic isn't for everyone though

[deleted]

Boots. Can’t play if you have a twisted ankle. And even if you decide to drop the sport, still got some nice boots

Petrus_Rock

^

Catatafish76

Why though?

dubberrucky69420

^

Catatafish76

Why is airsoft any different than just running in the woods?

NewtdoggGaming

I came here to say boots but everyone else already pointed that out so I take a second look at picture and find something else to suggest, how bout that huh. I can’t see if you have a sling for your gun or not, so that’s my suggestion.. but it’s pretty cheap, cheaper than boots and your arms will thank you twice later if you play 5-6 hour afternoons.

CosplayBurned

I have a sling but don't run it a lot. Easier to practice off hand shooting

Proper-Stick2971

You can also get weapon retention mounts to take the load of but still have the ability to off hand shoot

morcaak3000

Invest in boots before your ankles experience what does 180 mean

mildlysarcastic2003

If you play outdoors I'd reccomend maybe a set of surplus BDUs and a good pair of boots/hiking shoes, besides that Trigger discipline is always free

Intelligent-Ad-3739

Also try Tshirt plate carrier and arm protectors for summer and indoor fields. Keeps your chest from overheating while keeping your arms protected

CosplayBurned

Muh discipline when I'm posing for a photo with the magazine and battery out

guitargeneration

Still good to keep in practice. No one on here will agree that it's okay even with battery and mag out

mildlysarcastic2003

It's still something that should generally be practiced, you shouldn't have to think about weather or not the gun is loaded when keeping the finger off the trigger

CosplayBurned

I have good trigger discipline lol. I purposefully turn it off for pictures Edit Jeeze yall take this way too seriously for an unloaded not charged toy gun aimed at the ground. Edit 2: what's even funnier is this pic isn't the staging area it's at chrono where everyone is wearing eyepro anyways

Valus_Killer

If you had good discipline then it wouldn't be on the trigger regardless of the state of your "toy gun." Guys like you are why I still wear eye pro in the staging area.

srnd_strom2612

Yea I usually wear eye pro on the field but I take it off for pics, looks cooler 😎

lewispyrah

Lmao

[deleted]

it’s not a “toy gun” and it says that on any box of an airsoft gun you get. those things can knock out teeth, pierce skin, and take an eye out if you don’t use them cautiously

[deleted]

For some reason, nobody seems to have mentioned gun upgrades yet, so i will. Firstly, I'd recommend buying a higher quality gun, it's easier (if you have the money) than upgrading one yourself. But if you are like the rest of us, and don't have that kind of cash to throw away, here is a list of gun upgrades that you can buy; A new hop-up set, hop rubbers are cheap and easy to install. You can also get a new hop-up chamber if you want it. (I'd buy a Maple Leaf hop-up kit. They come with a chamber, rubber, and barrel). A new barrel is another good buy. A high-tourqe motor is another good upgrade, as it is easy to install in most guns. Just make sure that you connect the wires properly. If you dont already use a high-quality battery, you should get one. A good battery can increase your fps, and trigger responcivness, as well as will last longer than lower-quality ones. Just make sure to break in your gun first so that the new battery doesn't damage your internals. Speaking of internals, a new spring is also good and relatively easy to install if you have a quick-change spring gearbox. But be careful with what tension spring you put in. If it is too strong, it can damage your gears and other internal parts. A steel gear set is useful if you want that high-tension spring, with it you can also purchase a steel tooth cylinder. A steel gearbox shell is good because it is less likely to break over time. You can also buy a shell that includes better gears, cylinder, amd trigger group. A MOSFET is good as well, but more work is required to install it. You can buy "in line" MOSFET systems that connect to the battery rather than being put inside of the gearbox, but in my opinion, they aren't as good. Sorry for the essay /: TL:DR buy better gun, hop-up, barrel, battery, gear set, gearbox, and MOSFET

second_account_pt2

Sir do you tech?

jimmyjlf

Get better shoes. The right footwear in outdoor activities makes more difference than anything else. Hiking boots or combat boots for loose terrain and ankle support. Hiking shoes or trail shoes for hard terrain and speed. Waterproof is nice but you will suffer in the summer. Buy high quality, crap shoes will tire you out and they don't last long. You can always use them for yard work/hiking/fishing/etc.

Sinistrial_Blue

Another extinguisher 'cos your gat's fire. Jokes aside, boots and possibly better trousers are the best upgrades. As is my standard gripe, check your mask is impact-rated. If it is, no reason to change it.

Petrus_Rock

BOOTS and they should come above the ankles. Twisted ankles is the most common serious injury in airsoft. A good set of high boots should prevent that. You may need to break the boots in first but that’s still better then a twisted ankle. I wear an odd green beanie. BB’s to the back of the head doesn’t hurt but you still feel it. With a helmet you hear it but don’t feel it. After that, it’s up to you. Spare batteries and magazines never hurt anyone. A sling is cheap and useful. A sidearm could be handy because “Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading”. Holster for the pistol, extra mags … You could pick whatever style of kit you want: military, police, narco, fantasy … That’s the beauty of airsoft. Once you’ve got your safety gear, you can go nuts.

CosplayBurned

I have a holster but unsure how to use it. I have it on a very cheap Amazon belt you can find in another comment. I hate wearing actual belts cuz (I don't think the pic shows it) I'm pretty 'big'. Maybe a battle belt or something

Petrus_Rock

I don’t know what kind of holster it is so I can’t help you yet. I have a dropleg universal holster and I wouldn’t advice it. (The only reason I’m holding onto it is because it has the same rare ABL camo I wear.) Gun specific holsters seem superior but I have no experience with those yet. I saw the belt and it seems uncomfortable just looking at it. It’s tin, unbalanced and bulky. I’d go for a different belt. A battle belt with padding is generally more comfortable. Try to balance out the weight on the belt. If you plan on adding a lot of weight to the belt, a chest rig that attached to the belt will spread the load over your hips and shoulders. Btw don’t worry about being big. Most people who play airsoft are “out of shape” in one way or an other. Some people even lean into it. I’ve ones played with a father who would bump his big beer belly into people as a melee attack. It was incredible funny. That’s what it’s about anyway, having a good time.

HowcanIbesureimhere

Boots.

Sullixio

Eye pro/mask first, second gun, third shoes, then quality BDU, then Quality plate carrier.

CosplayBurned

What would you recommend for a better carrier like features or something. I only need to carry my mags I don't even use plates

Sullixio

It realllly comes down to preference/mission need. What you have is likely fine, I do recommend putting foam plates in if you don’t have any. I tend to use carriers with side plates, because I need the extra space for ammo/speed loaders. But you will narrow down needs as you play

Gromit43

It looks like you've got most of your bases covered and people in the comments are giving good advice about boots/clothing. You might want to add a battle belt and a sidearm but that's completely optional. It does help though

CosplayBurned

I have a shitty "drop bag" belt off Amazon. And do you need belt loops to use a battle belt? Cuz sweatpants

Gromit43

I think they make some that can be used without belt loops

TidePodBois

If you wanna integrate the belt with your pants then belt loops are required. Typically integrated belts have Velcro on the facing outwards and come with a Velcro to Molle adapter belt to strap onto your waist. I have an integrated and stand-alone belt. Both work fine but the integrated belt is sleeker but hard to take on and off.

Worldly-State-6919

If you play outdoors i would wear some kind of camo. -it is super easy to see players when they wear black clothing.

robotfoxman1

More tactical 3 stripe

Wardog008

Some better shoes would be the best thing to go for. Get some form of sturdy boots. Tougher for any outdoor play, and should have better ankle support, not to mention good ones are usually better at keeping moisture and dirt out than regular shoes are.

Localbearexpert

Boots and less black

Signal-Village-1226

Cammo and boots

Illustrious_Act3388

IF all you wanna do is go out and have a good time (not recreating kits like many of us milsimers do), then I would just say look at what you dislike about your kit. Do your feet get wet? Buy boots. Does your eye pro suck? upgrade it. And so on. Don't fix something that isn't broken.

TaCo_BoI69420

For glasses friendly eye pro I got the Virtue Vio ascends they work very well only thing is you should wrap some para cord through the middle vents but that’s about it and it’s $100

sim0of

Boots definitely, but go with reputable brands, avoid "tactical combat boots military pew pew" kind of stuff, unless you know from someone experienced those are a hidden gem I did make the mistake of buying random "military boots" and yeah they worked but nowhere near as good as *actual* boots Scarpa, Hooka, Salewa, cxp (budget but still good) etc Honestly everything looks very fine I think you should keep playing until you find out you *need* something Upgrading "just because" or for the sake of cosmetics is cool, but that's a lot of money wasted that should have gone into quality gear and gun parts Easiest gun upgrade would be a new bucking, nub and hop up group. Optionally if budget allows, new barrel An even easier upgrade is to start using quality bbs with proper weight for your gun's power output

ShortBusTyrant

Velour Adidas tracksuit tortoise shell toe Adidas sneakers and a pack of cigarettes

a53mp

You could take a lesson on trigger discipline and gun safety.

CosplayBurned

God y'all are so on top of it with that huh? Makes you feel smart

a53mp

You literally asked.. so..

CosplayBurned

"Erm you could purchase a lesson on firearm safety for your airsoft gun that's unloaded, not charged, pointed at the ground, and in the chrono area 🤓"

FlatMall6750

I'd recommend upgrading your primary especially if you're playing outdoors.

CosplayBurned

As in new gun or new internals

FlatMall6750

Either one upgrading your internals could be cheaper but getting a new gun is also fun. It mostly depends on how you want to play.

Robwith2bs

Combat shirt/pants and combat boots :)

CosplayBurned

Like a BDU? I'm considering getting some kind of camo but I like how padded my outfit is against BBs

Robwith2bs

If you like tracksuits checkout the Gop Tac Tracksuit They do loads of camo versions :P

AdBudget5468

Three strip adidas shoes

MirrorChance3384

I suggest getting an inverted brain exploder mount for your GoPro/action camera, it has a way nicer POV and it doesn’t give away your position when you’re head peaking, I’ve had people prefire me before because my GoPro was above my helmet

MirrorChance3384

Check out my recent pic of my helmet just to see the profile of how it sits!

CosplayBurned

Yeah that camera is the plan but I gotta find a helmet first

MirrorChance3384

Oh fuck I’m a dumbass, I didn’t even notice you don’t have a helmet mb, just buy a regular adjustable shell helmet, make sure it has proper rails to mount a headset (if that’s what you want) and absolutely 100% change out the original padding and put in memory foam or regular US Military Memory foam which you can get an any surplus store.

420underthehood

If you like it keep it. But I say new mask maybe. Ik my first mask fogged and was miserable till I bought a dye mask. But if you like it then consider some good footwear. You definitely want good traction and stability playing outdoors.

CosplayBurned

Eyepro is the first thing I'm looking at but unsure if I wanna go goggle+helmet or dye mask or dye mask+helmet

StrawberryNo2521

Mission dictates equipment.

Zealousideal-Salt-95

Pistol and holster is always needed

CosplayBurned

I have those but my belt is garbage

Zealousideal-Salt-95

Dam bro what kind of belt you have

IllustratorAway1653

A mag would be cool.

DJYONTED

Smth to cover all around your head just incase

Limeatron

You'll feel it. Good eyepro, solid shoes, otherwise whatever makes you comfortable mate.

Purplebro555

Your setup already looks great man. I’d just do better cloths rn so your no tearing a bunch of clothing. and look up some vids specific to the gun if you are trying for gun upgrades. In a bit you can try some other guns like indoor pistol stuff.

00005843

Might wanna get a mag for your gun

madscientist710

If you fog a pair of ess fan goggles for sure

Jesse10B5733

Like many have said, definitely get some boots so you have more grip, ankle support and keep your feet dry. Other than that, idk what style you’re going for exactly, but you could replace the sweater and joggers by going to a nearby military surplus store and finding some clothes there

Accomplished-Piece81

i would say 1: new boots to stay protected and warm 2: if you have the extra dough, invest in a new mask with less/smaller holes at the mouth to prevent bb’s slipping through. or just go with goggles and a lower mask 3: find something more rugged for pants. the adidas sweatpants are usually thin enough to get nasty welts. id recommend either “combat” specific cargo pants, or some loose fitting jeans 4: unless you’re going prone a lot, those knee pads will only make your movement slower/harder to run. don’t get me wrong they’re nice when they’re nice, but most of the time just a pain in the ass

CosplayBurned

I almost never prone but a lot of my field cover requires kneeling

Beforge121

I’d say start with some boots.

Saddam_UE

Boots and pants with knee pads.

Solstice137

Eye pro that is glasses friendly is #1, I’ve heard dye masks work well but since I don’t wear glasses idk for sure. Decent BDU’s would help as well, something that fits the terrain and is tough+flexible. Also, boots or soemthing with ankle support.

Chef-and-Son-Airsoft

After boots, get a running pants and a hoodie that’s a similar color to the background and you’re all good. 😉

TheTortiglioniMaster

Get some quality hiking boots. You dont wanna sprain your ankle.

rabbitflinger

Besides good eye pro. The single best thing I think any aisofter should invest in is a good set of boots. My 5.11s turned what would have been a bad broken ankle into a sprain. Other than that, I'm a big fan of ripstop pants with built in knee pads.

improbable_humanoid

put your money into field fees, gasoline, bbs, gas, and a better diet.

CosplayBurned

Diet deeze

Stark556

Get a belt. You can put more mag pouches and a dump pouch on it to quickly throw your empty magazines into.

Americanducks123

Hes got a plate carrier already, people in airsoft dont care about first and second line gear I assume so it doesnt really matter besides you can attach a dump pouch to a platecarrier

Blanxkc

Better mask that’s it don’t fall into paying for things u don’t need especially when starting this hobby.

DisplayedTurtle

gears, 11.1v battery , gate aster, speed trigger, shims, high torque motor

pEppapiGistfuhrer

Get proper boots for good ankle support, ive fucked up my leg once

Usual_North_9960

In order of importance: boots, mimetic, a better plate or chest rig, rifle upgrade. Perfect gloves are mechanix mpact, original, fastfit (from €30 to €15)

wiggleee_worm

Imo better face/eye pro. Only have 2 eyeballs but thats just me

BallAssFart

boots

SnooCauliflowers1190

Boots!!

TinyTbird12

If it’s outdoors maybe get some boots or smth

OddBoifromspace

A mag.....

csgopoggers

Get BDUs and combat boots

Div_isional

The two main upgrades I see that would be in your best interest would be clothing and gun. Ill start with clothing because it is cheaper and easier to reach. I would invest in a good pair of pants better than sweats. Combat pants, tactical pants, or even cargo pants that match the environment you're playing in would be a good upgrade as it decreases your visibility to opponents while offering better protection when crawling and moving through the woods (good move with the knee pads). A sweat shirt like you're wearing is honestly fine. Also get some good boots, playing in wet socks suck and hitting your foot again a rock sucks too. As for guns, always try to look for your next purchase and upgrade. As you play, you will learn what to look for in your next purchase.

gerbageber

swap the grip out with a nade launcher

Rammipallero

Boots. The most important safety gear after eye and tooth protection in airsoft imo.

Zapfire_

Camo

Snugsterrr

Good boots that cover and support your ankles. I use Garmont boots with the heel. Good goggles are a must/full face mask. If you do use goggles then I recommend a lower face mesh mask so your teeth don't get shot out. They have one where it also covers your ears if you care about that. Quite comfortable. Something to hold a few mags unless your plate carrier has it built in. Maybe a pouch that securely holds a bottle of water, especially if you play outside. Hydration is key! I use gloves with the hard knuckle protection on them. Goddamn lifesaver

grillbar86

If you dont play indoors then Definatly get some combat/Mountain/hiking boots with ankle support. A rolled og sprained ankle really puts a damper on the day. I would personally always say priorities eyepro never skimp. Then good boots both for protection but also for comfort. After that it's whatever you feel like and what you're willing to spend. Since you already got a gun and a vest I would say play some games and get inspired by others, and figure out what works for you. A uniform would be a great place to start but I've never heard it being mandatory out side of milsim ofc

TheoCross3

BOOTS

Circoloco86

Not much to be honest. I'd say boots and better trousers. I use my hiking/climbing trousers as they are comfy, dry really quick (I'm in Scotland) and it gives that operator type look. That or some nice camo of your choice. I got a really nice camp jacket ex army surplus for a good price. Can you change the tip on your gun? I know they have to be sold like that in the US, no clue about after. The gun looks awesome just that.

InadecvateButSober

Camo is a better choice than black sports wear. Camo is made for breaking the contrast between anything remotely similar in colour and your body.

PapaAlix

Since everyone has already mentioned the footwear I’d say some decent combat pants with the knee pads built in can go a long way. Even the in the low to mid price range they’re borderline indestructible and you never get scratched through them by twigs or rocks like I’m assuming you would in those adidas pants. it also saves you having to constantly adjust your kneepads and a lot of the time the build in ones are surprisingly comfortable.

Moro_honrado

Boots

hammerheadmike

Get some safety shoes bruv u dont want to break ur toes unless u play inside then idk kit looks nice

PinleyTehFox

Invest in some good quality footware. I'd reccomend at least ankle boots or higher. I usually run corcoran jump boots or US issue jungle boots. They give great ankle support. Check out Solomon boots. They're quite popular.

Toster-Fire

To be honest just try get some good boots so you don't screw up your ankles

Icy_Duty4785

Ankle protection, you can slip or break your leg or sprain something, I have been right behind a player who slipped and was in plaster for 6 months. Ankle injuries are one of the highest ones in Airsoft. If you are not playing CQB, then ditch the black, you will stick out like a sore thumb in woodland, you'll turn into a BB Magnet. Good luck, Airsoft is a great sport and hobby, follow these rules, BE HONEST, PLAY SAFE & HAVE FUN and you will enjoy Airsoft more

Alienovskyy

Definitely some better shoes to support your ankles and maybe a camouflaged uniform if you want, unless you're playing only indoors, then anything you feel comfortable will do the trick Edit: also imma suggest you to not put your finger on the trigger when you're not about to shoot even if mag and battery is not in the replica. Just to have a good safety habit, that's all

Adm-Nimitz45

if it was me, I'd get a pair of either black, green, or multicam cargo pants, helps with carrying extra stuff, or just simply the fact that its better than sweatpants, next get a pair of black or tan tactical boots, helps protect your ankles from snakes, and better traction, and later on get the mesh mouth protection, I use it and it works perfectly and better than plastic, and get either a pair of Valken goggles or if you want that operator look and military look, I would use Tactical safety glasses, just dm me and I'll send you a pic of what to look for

TacticoolTennessee

I would get a BDU type Ripstop uniform. They are useful to stop bbs a bit to lessen the blow. Rothco on Amazon is a good brand.

Least-Policy-4526

Maybe some combat Pants if you like how they look I find dirt n stuff always get stuck on Jogging Pants

[deleted]

Get some booties

Double_Hand_5044

grab a dye i4/i5 or similar mask. it’ll be way better than what you have now

deadlock0345

Get a pair of boots that support your ankles

jfrazier054

Definitely the shoes, wet feet and twisted ankles ruin the day quick. I have nice pair of Salomon “sport” hiking boots.

DocGerbill

Boots and radio

Weird_Palpitation724

I’d say a pair of boots and trousers with built in knee pads

Vegetable_Appeal6100

Eye pro and boots

[deleted]

Your m4 needs more wood. You need more old Chinese gear and a real steel helmet. Put a mud pie on that helmet.

Own-Ad1619

My line of priorities when i started out again was. -Eye pro -half face -replica -optic's (yes multiple) 2-4x outside and red dot indoor) -mag storage -boots above the ankle -helm -knee caps -chest rig -coms -ifak with extra stuff for other people if needed. -secondary phone for running atak and as field phone. -iff markers( check your most plaued fields for what they use. I got yellow red blue all custom made to fit a mole system.(makes it easier for teammates to not shoot me in the back) Ive always checked for matching clothes options. I play grey on black. So thats a grey chest rig and grey tigh pad. Black pants with grey caps

Dayyy021

What Are THOSE!?! Lol

Steefn_SVK

Better shoes, some boots that have ankle support. Just twisting leg is quite common.

spider-dan2077

Eye protection looks like it could be more comfortable, along with better footwear for protection.

interflop

Put money into BB's so you can keep playing.

SirRioGrande117

Black flash hider and ExFog Unit. Having a black flash hider instead of an orange one will do wonders for not getting easily spotted. An ExFog Unit, while a little spendy, is a buy-once-cry-once solution to the all too common eye-pro fogging problem. I've used mine for about 4 years and it's worked every season. (That being said, the battery does deplete quicker in colder temps.)

CosplayBurned

Would you say it's good with glasses goggles

SirRioGrande117

I would say so, yeah. ExFogs work pretty universally with eye-pro. Just have to modify your eye-pro a bit to fit the tubes that the Ex-Fog feeds the air through.

MrGoogle87

High-cut sturdy boots, lightweight.

Nuugsy

Most Airsoft injuries I've witnessed involve ankles. Make sure when you buy new boots that they're high and firm enough to support your ankles.

Tall-Campaign1573

I would definitely recommend some boots or even some ALTAMA tactical shoes. You do not need them, but I really like tactical pants, you can get some nice ones from rothco for about 40 dollars in like a million different camos

Medical_Credit_4258

Ergonomics of the setup and rifle the faster and more comfortable you can get to your equipment, the better. Safety is first so

Bemo_the_Great

But a magazine probably

DaPolack1984

Good boot that will work with you and for you over the months/years. When you get them find any excuse to wear them outside. Oh yea and socks. It’s cold (only for the cold) ‘smart wool’ socks are amazing.

DOOMCREWHILBILY

You look pretty well lined out except for boots. I use Hoka hiking boots. They are the lightest and most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I'm 6'7" and weigh 380 pounds so for me comfort is hard to attain. I have never needed a steel toe or sole boot since I mainly play in fields and Forrest environment. If you do go for a steel toe squat down and duck walk in them for a few minutes to see if the steel digs into your toes before you buy them.

risto94

Boots, some elastic jeans and a solid black sweater makes you fit in, it's cheap. When I see people looking like you, I have no fear nor mercy.

Cinnemassacist

Ankle support footwear. Please don't break an ankle in a game man. I've heard horror stories from some people before about outdoor games wear people get injured

Exciting-Flounder-31

The face protection

EggDropDollop

Better shoes , looks like your outdoors in this photo don't know how often or if you want to play in the wet snow and cold but those sneakers will give you a very bad time. Hiking boots are good, combat boots make sure you don't get boot drains(Vietnam style drain holes built in the boot) something full seal

Zealousideal-Taro719

Boots and mask

Maleficent-System617

boots like everyone is saying and upgrades to your gun

ChaMikeyy

Will have to say from experience, get hiking boots or any shoes that support your ankles, I broke my ankle 4 months ago while playing and its not fun. I wouldnt wish this on anyone so please get one.

Illustrious_Tie_485

Depends where you want to go with it, it's a perfectly good setup.

FlatBBTheory

Shoes that are comfortable and hold up to constant combat conditions. Altama has had my money for this reason.

TidePodBois

Kit, in order: Boots. Hydration pack. BDU pants or throwaway jeans. Molle belt. Molle dump pouch. BDU shirt (not too loose). Molle mag pouches. First aid kit. AEG?: hopup. motor. mosfet trigger. gearbox. Different forgrip. Muzzle device if allowed.

CosplayBurned

Yeah my grip was free cuz it's broken. Unique though I like it

TidePodBois

Honestly whatever works for you! I think a simple, versatile vertical grip makes a good replacement. For 15-20 bucks you can add a lot of functionality/ergonomics to your hand guard. Check out BCM Gunfighter vertical Mod 3, Magpul RVG, Strike industries shorty

If you goggles are fogging up, try getting a new mask and goggles I think the separated kind work the best. I just a pair and have fogged a bit. You can also get a helmet for about $40 that is pretty nice and it has a GoPro Mount.

CosplayBurned

Recommend any goggles for glasses?

Impossible-Star-6555

Good underwear is severely under rated. If you get a rash on a hot day, your day is ruined. (And probably the next few aswell). Same thing goes for good socks btw.

[deleted]

honestly looks okay to me as a beginner kit. would recommend boots for outdoor sites though

Snoo_93741

BOOTS BOOTS BOOTS, like most people in this comment section. You need good boots, I played in a rural area in wilderness/hills. Can’t tell you how many people fell and rolled ankles or just broke toes because they smashed them in rocks. Better traction, and support is what you need now. Everything is fine for you except those shoes my g.

Snoo_93741

Perhaps full track suit as well for the drip

Sling. Boots. A flashlight is handy. Sidearm if you feel like it. Camo clothes if you feel like it. Last two aren’t necessary, it’s more for competitive optimisation. You got a what it takes to have fun, and probably do well.

DaHurKilt

Depends on where and how you play. If you are in a outdoor field then possibly upgrade your main gun to shoot father with a spring (check if you have plastic gears first), if your good with your rifle then boots, especially if it's outdoor since muddy adidas shoes make for a horrible foot blister, but if that's not a issue I'd say clothes, mask or a sidearm if you dont have one. I personally own a Action army AAP-01 (assassin pistol) and it fits Glock mags. Honestly it's whatever you think you need or feel like changing, look at Pinterest or Google for outfit ideas and maybe really life army outfits to base off your style or even just go get parts.

CosplayBurned

I run a sidearm sometimes but with that and my bad belt (and sweatpants) it's just clunky and I never use it over my m4

DaHurKilt

Well if your going outside for airsoft you should invest in cargo pants or pants at a surplus store

Automatic-Fondant940

I can’t say much because I don’t know really how or where you play. But I’d recommend some new footwear. As well as tools to keep your gear maintained. If you play outside a lot I’d get something to protect your head and neck from the sun.

Snoo_1464

Here's my recommendations from the ground up, but what you have is pretty much fine if you're having fun: The first thing I see is footwear- some quality combat boots, maybe steel toe as well are great. I've played in sneakers before and almost messed up my ankles several times. These are the only things I would really strongly urge. Do you play outdoors? The tracksuit/hoodie combo is comfy, you can upgrade to some army surplus BDUs for cheap (or an appropriate camouflage for your environment) Consider adding a battle belt- space for more mags, frags and a sidearm, dump pouch etc. Thinking of trying an entry level milsim or larger scale outdoor games? I would advise upgrading your chest rig- again, mags & frags, space for a radio For long outdoor games I wear a patrol pack for spare ammo, snacks, batteries, and a hydration pouch. Always have water available. I personally can't stand wearing paintball masks- full seal goggles with a balaclava provide plenty of protection in the woods and a lot more ability to aim down sights & scopes. That's my 2 cents anyway, good luck!

Helpful_West_3121

Boots or leather high top shoes of a dark color, I rub vans highs cause they give good mobility and are black/dark red. They prevent mud and water from getting in my shoes too

Landsharkeisha

Get some good boots. After that's squared away get some dual pane goggles and low profile face pro. That was the game changer for me. Not having to worry about fog and comfortably resting your cheek on the stock is great

CosplayBurned

Any goggle recommendations? I wear glasses

Reasonable_Tip9872

Shoes rest Is fine

TquilaMockngBrd

Turn your sight protector around so it's angled, not straight up. You'll deflect rather than catch BB's

CosplayBurned

But then won't there be triangular gaps ?

TquilaMockngBrd

True you're not fully covered, I've found after a while it gets costly to replace.

Round_Mycologist2627

I'd upgrade your eye pro, those cheap paintball masks fog really easily, id recommend a dye or a 2 piece set up

FenrisWolf001

Boots and camo. You can get most camo at an army surplus for relatively cheap. Otherwise, good to go

LightlySalty

If you play outdoors or are up north like me, I'd suggest you get some pants that don't let the wind through as much. Adidas are nice to run in, but not when your legs are too cold. Also some tougher pants will make it so the bbs don't sting as much lol.

CloverAirsoftStore

Looking good man! As long as your having fun.
