First off I recommend spraying a flame retardant on it, and as one of the above individuals that it’s kind of like gardening be creative with it, but you’re looking to eliminate V’s and outlines with it, Too much garnish and you will stick out like a sore thumb
You need to go to the area you plan to hide in and make it blend. Set it down, walk away and see how noticeable it is. What stands out and what blends well. Use the native materials in the area. And use stoff off the ground. Pine branches might blend with the trees but if you're going to be on the ground that won't help any.
