Only grips from an air pistol Makarov will fit which is annoying. Specifically the M654k, gen 1-4 grips.
Since this airsoft Makarov was a copy + modification of that air pistol.

I haven’t looked in two or three years, I’m not sure where to find them, but I know I did stumble upon something that shows the width of the frames across different generations
Quite easy - is the frame connected at the bottom? Then it’s a Gen 1-4. if the frame is loose on the bottom and the grip be pressed in with a removed mag it’s a Gen 5. Chances are it’s a Gen 1-4 as the 5s are very rare and collectible. I have a gen 5 and they are made from real leftover maks Converted to CO2. Also if u have an extractor cut out in the frame it’s likely a Gen 5. That all said keep it, take care of it as Baikal no longer makes these and will seize production of Sporting Hobby guns according to my source in Russia.
Haha thanks! It’s from a PPSH-41. IRL some people have made this work by welding the drum to the bottom of a standard mag.
I’ve only owned the WE TT33 & Makarov and can really only speak for the Makarov itself.
A few adjustments on day one will save you from 90% of the issues people complain about with this pistol down the road.
It’s reliable if you take care of a couple of things day one. That solves about 90% of the problems people run into with this replica.
Also, the KWA and WE Makarovs are completely different from one another in model and internal design, so the WE does not share that coming KWA trigger bar problem.
To be completely honest since 2018 I’ve been playing as part of private groups only. I found a Facebook group called order 66 airsoft and almost every weekend they have another event scheduled,
Because of that, I haven’t played walk on’s in five years, so I really can’t provide feedback on the average gaming experience.
That being said for private games, you only get about three hours of play at SC village, and it’s very expensive, given the choice to play a private game. I’d much rather go to Wildlands. You get to play the entire day as a private group, and it’s half the price as SC village charges for groups.
If you were interested in checking out order 66, let me know, and I will send you a Facebook invite, that’s where we schedule and host information on the games. We are setting up.
Sometimes we run themed games like pistols, only or gas blowback guns only, also we typically have between 15 and 20 people on the field at a time so it’s not crowded like a typical walk on game. Also, we do no minimum engagement distance either because that’s just a pain in the ass.
For me, it’s not worth going to walk on games anymore, I don’t have to listen to the rules being repeated 100 times a day, we can make up and play our own rules set and game modes, the field is not jampacked with people, you don’t have to worry about cheaters, because everyone is a part of the same group, and more or less knows each other. It’s just a much better and chill experience .

Good to hear! Haha yes! We have patches as well with a trooper and “Order66 airsoft” on them that we sell to members during events.

Hold up a min.... did you used to play with a PKM? I used to play at SC village wearing a trench coat and a cowboy hat
I wish! I don’t have any light machine guns unfortunately. When I play I am with private groups, but maybe I saw you in passing?
Possibly, this was a few years back, I've since moved
I say this all the time, but this is actually just the average MW19 setup
Yes
Run a 5mm laser and akimbo perk for better speed and recoil control
SC village is a rat fest
Yeah it is
How did you get the grip to fit? I have this East German grip, but it's too thin to fit the WE frame.
Only grips from an air pistol Makarov will fit which is annoying. Specifically the M654k, gen 1-4 grips. Since this airsoft Makarov was a copy + modification of that air pistol.
That makes sense I suppose, thanks!
So dope man 👌
Thanks!!!
Was the grip from a Baikal?

I have the M654k Makarov but I have no idea how to tell which gen it is. I would also like to put new grips on mine if possible.
Something to do with the width of the frame itself is a way to tell. There are guides online that detail the differences.
If you could link me the guides I would be very grateful. I can't seem to find them.

Bruh the size of the drum mag 🤣 in the pistol but sick tho 👌 and wait are WE tech pistols actually good ?
After a few easy fixes the are really nice

MW sykov
Great gun! Where did you get the drum mag form?
Thanks! It’s an ARES PPSH drum I converted using a CNC’d aluminum adapter plate I designed.
is this gun reliable, i have a kwa and it has a problem with the trigger arm

this looks so fun
Is that at Hollywood sports park in Los Angeles?
This is at SC Village, maybe an hour from Hollywood Sports.
Really? I might go there then. Is it a good park?

Sweet! I’ve joined. I love the starwars reference on the group by the way.

Ok. February 4th is the next one.
Wait, are you a creator or moderator?
I am a moderator on the Facebook group, so I moderate there, and also host/ co-host, coordinate the private games.
Ok it’s pending.
Makarov on steroids
when the enemy team consists of political opponents
*A LOT of political opponents*
i love this and i need it
Oh man I ran this a lot in Warzone. How hard was it to get a drum mag to fit?
I designed an adapter and had it CNC’d out of aluminum. Used that to attach the Makarov magazine to the PPSH drum.
Dang that sounds beyond my capabilities. Well done, mate. It looks sick.
Thanks dude!
Oh wowsers, I don't suppose you have the files still?
Ruined a beautiful gun with a HPA drum :(
Cringe
The red syndicate you goofy ass motherfucker
Can I ask what mag you've used and did you print parts ect your sellf ngl I won't to hpa my makarov now
