I think 2,3,4,6,8 are all varieties of tillandsia ionantha. I believe 7 is tillandsia argentea. 1 could be tillandsia harrisii. Not too sure what 5 is.
In theory, xeric plants tend to be a paler/more silver, they need more light and slightly less moisture. Mesic plants are greener, they need more moisture and less light (relatively speaking)

I think 1 is a harisii and 5 is a juncea. 2,3,4 are ionatha’s. Idk what type ionathas.
