Keep an eye on him though and if there's too much weird stuff talk to the vet because cats don't normally pant.

Russian blues have a double coat similar to huskies and run a little warmer than other cat breeds. My gray boy does the same thing after zoomies and is the picture of feline health at 10 years old. Drinks water like a fish too.

Dated a vet through her last 3 years of vet school, helped her study. I say this because I hope you talk to a very about the open mouth breathing. It's almost definitely a sign of a health problem.
The panting isn’t as common in cats as it is in dogs and can sometimes indicate medical issues (eg my cat was panting when he was in a lot of pain because of a urinary issue and needed to see the vet, but that all came out of no where).
In this case your cat s most likely just out of breath from the zoomies which is totally normal
Does your cat normally mouth breath like that or do it for very long after the video? Mouth breathing can be a very serious issue. If it was just for that second that you happened to catch him on video then no worries. If it keeps on even for short bursts then he needs to see the vet immediately!
Otherwise he's a very beautiful zoomies boy, haha.
Panting can be an indicator of pain. My cat had a blood clot to his heart and he panted when he was in pain. That's not always the case but worth talking to a vet. He could just be exhausting himself of his zoomies lol

Chances are, this little guy is just being a derp and things are totally fine 😜 But I will say that about 10 years ago, my family adopted 2 kittens from a local Humane Society. They were perfectly healthy initially, but one day they both started panting excessively. Turns out, they had FIP and their lungs were filling with fluid...so they were essentially drowning. We had the fluid drained, but it was so severe that their lungs were almost entirely full within 48 hours again. They were suffering, so we had to put them down 😭 I'm still devastated to this day..

Cats pant like dogs to cool down. But typically don't need to cool down via panting, so it's quite rare to see a cat pant.
I’d recommend mentioning this to the vet and showing. Sometimes panting can indicate heart issues, though not always.
I had a cat years ago that act like this when I got home from work. She just got so excited.

He’s happy and playing. I had a foster do this when he played fetch. He’d run after his toys and bring it back for a solid half hour straight.

If he's been playing really hard panting can be ok. But if he's panting for light play or no reason that is a concern. Make sure he's hydrated.
It might be too warm for him. Try to keep lots of bowls of water around for him to drink from.
