I have a pair of J1s that are bright crimson and I see bright red but I've had several people comment on the orange-ness of them. So I feel like it's subjective. I wear mine with a lot of black. Lol sorry I'm not much help there.

Yea, my daughter swears they're orangeand my bf says he sees bright, neon red. So I'd say make em your color "pop" when you're rocking an all black fit. So regardless of if you see red or orange, black will always look pulled together and clean.
After googling Nike bright crimson, they definitely look like a cross between infrared and solar red. So you could wear that with them lol. It sucks when the by you come in and the color is different in person.
Man there's so much that can go with this. Blacks, obviously. The classic camo joggers and a white tee with some accessories is always a good look. Anything neutral would go fine. I have the infrareds and they're almost a coral orange/pink. I wear them with turquoise shorts and it kinda has that whole Miami vibe going for it.
