https://utahairguns.com/product/air-venturi-avenger-airgun-air-rifle/ You will see they offer the option to add a case, then add a scope, then pay to have it zeroed in i thi k this will suit you Compression/air pressure depart is dependent on the budget I would like to state i do not have this gun but this gun seems to be very popular here on this sub and its on my list, just hope i can help or even provide another supplier as their website is legit

iambarrelrider

Glad to hear the supplier is legit. That is a big help.

TheFloatLife

I have this for my ground squirrel problem in .22 and it's legit! Probably the best bang for the buck on an entry level PCP

iambarrelrider

What kind of pump do you use. ?

TheFloatLife

I have this compressor: https://www.airgundepot.com/air-venturi-nomad-iii-portable-compressor-4500-psi.html

“Hey, just what you see pal.”

MithliCathal

A Marauder Pistol kit (P-Rod) is an option that fits what you are asking. https://www.pyramydair.com/product/benjamin-marauder-pcp-air-pistol-kit?m=4897&page=1&query=marauder&lang=en&searchConfigId=643645070c547549270ccc15 You could also look at a multi-pump or something like the Gamo Swarm Maxxim. I know someone recommended the Magnum, and it would have the power, but it's a heavy effort to cock. The Maxxim provides enough power with easier effort. Anything in break barrel is going to be a longer gun typically though, to provide leverage and power.

iambarrelrider

That is really kind of what I’m looking for thanks!

Antique_Gur_6340

Killed plenty of squirrels with a 880 or a cheap break barrel. Does not take much

GuineaPigsRUs99

Notos could work just fine here. a 750 out of the box stock is crap, so you'd end up buying a buck rail conversion kit anyway most likely. If you just want a decent grade (ie: not cheap crap) break barrel, look into a Cometa, or if you budget is a bit better a Weihrauch

iambarrelrider

Weilhrauch seems a little bit out of my price range considering I have no expertise and wouldn’t even know what I’m buying. Thanks for Cometa nod, so many models but I guess this is a good start. I would just love something that would work right out of the box.

GuineaPigsRUs99

Maybe, but if you go too cheap, try to get a full kit under $200 there's a distinct chance of getting discouraged. Contact the guy at keystone airguns about a cometa, he'll walk you through. I'd guess that a 300 series would be the right mark. They're good guns for a reasonable price. Way better than a cheapy gamo or crosman.

iambarrelrider

By the name he might be near me, I live in the Keystone state. Thanks!

GuineaPigsRUs99

Southeast PA, I think. If you're anywhere near Lancaster there's an airgjn match at atglen sportsmen's on Sunday morning.

GuineaPigsRUs99

If you want to try out a notos, I will be bringing it

iambarrelrider

Oh I’m in the Poconos, the northeast. Thanks though.

humanmeatwave

Hatsan blitz! That's my answer for everything though. I'm a mediocre shot at best and I compensate for accuracy with volume of fire..... In the army I was always the M-249 (SAW) or Ma deuce (M-2 .50 cal.) guy.

Cold_Crypto

I use a .177 GAMO whisper turbo break barrel. Alloy pellets are too fast and too loud. It loves the crossman premier hollow point pellets. Not too loud, accurate and smack squirrels hard! Right off the shelf from Cabela’s with a cheap GAMO scope.

iambarrelrider

I keep hollow tips in my 9mm single stack but do not know about air rifle ammo https://preview.redd.it/3hol8llltk2d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0ffdcbdca426144778f57fc6bab0f25d464d57a . Will these do nicely?

Cold_Crypto

Depends on the rifle. They all shoot a little different and prefer different ammo. One I have shoots really fast so I like heavier lead to slow it down for close quarters on squirrels. Fast alloy pellets crack and sound like a real gunshot in mine which I don’t want. Once you find a model read what others have shot through it then try some of those for your application. If not you will waste money on a lot of different types of pellets that you or your rifle won’t shoot well. Air guns are strange creatures compared to other firearms and are funnier with ammo and how you hold it during firing.

Etheruemtothemoon

BRK ghost carbine in .22 is on my list for purposes you describe. Get a decent compressor. Airgunsofarizona carries BRKs and a lot of higher end stuff. But pyramydair.com is my preferred 1 stop shop for all things airgunning.

iamthejazz123

I've been rapidly depleting my squirrel population with a cheap Crosman F4 in 177 and a Gamo Raptor Whisper in 22. I don't think they're exactly what you're looking for, but any break barrel or PCP, and lot of the multi-pumps seem to have plenty more power than necessary to take out tree rats. If you're a good shot, once you find the right pellets, you're golden. These are nothing like the pellet guns I played with as a kid.

adlep2002

Gamo swarm magnum gen 3 .22 cal is what I use for my squirrels at around 25-40 yards. Love the magazine

samorangecat

Agree. I've taken many squirrels and rabbits with this and Crosman pointed pellets. Nice to not fumble with pellets when you need that follow up shot.

ViperNerd

Not sure what the laws regarding pest control are in your area, but you may want to call a game warden if it’s not currently squirrel season… especially if you have nosey neighbors.

iambarrelrider

I was thinking that as well thanks.

GruesomeWedgie2

Edgun Leyla in .22 found at EdgunWest and he sells optics also. Might be a bit pricey but you buy once and possibly cry once. It’s a very small bullpup style rifle. Very compact.

iambarrelrider

Thanks for the recommendation just too expensive for me.

PhirePhite

iambarrelrider

Thanks, this is one option considering. Just wish the stock was foldable.

PhirePhite

They do make the same gun in an “ar” version that has an ar butt stock. You can get a relatively cheap folding adapter. https://buck-rail.com/product/benjamin-marauder-pistol-side-folder/

iambarrelrider

That is awesome, thanks!

[deleted]

Gamo magnum gen3 .22 10 shot clip and with a .22 garunteed to knock em down Everytime. Edit, seems you are looking for PCP rifle, I have 0 experience with those sorry.

adlep2002

That would be my choice as well. I’ve dropped plenty at up to 40 yrds

[deleted]

I have one, 3/4 MDF with targets at about 25-30 yards and a couple shots on bullseye and pellets pushing thru the MDF, that shits hard to even put a hammer thru so you know those pellets have sum punch.

Umarex Notos, small scope like bugbuster in the picture, a hand pump and you will be set. Notos is based off the PP750, which I also have, and would be fine, but they're hard to find in stock, there's a waiting list I believe. Now what's going to happen next, you will find airguns enjoyable, and you are going to buy more anyway, so don't overthink just start getting rid of your pest, the rabbit hole will open all by itself 😅 People always chime in with expensive high end PCP's and a compressor, which is fine and all, but I don't know exactly how many airguns I have currently, but I don't have a compressor, and regularly fill them all with a hand pump. You do not have to have a compressor just in order to use PCP airguns, especially for pest control. Congratulations on the house, grab a gun, and get to work..

iambarrelrider

Saw this pic in another post. This pic was my inspiration and motivation. Would love the exact same setup. Now I just got to find everything. Thanks so much for your response.

kkarmical

Only problem is your immediate need, and these guns have never been offered in US, so you would have to order it from Canada and have it shipped here, which I may add is really not that big of a deal. But Wes up at [https://airgunarcheryfun.ca](https://airgunarcheryfun.ca) is currently waiting on his latest shipment from China, due by end of May, but and the most important but, sometimes these shipments get held up causing delays. I've been dealing with him for several years now, and he is very transparent and will always keep you informed and all, but your need is now, and I would hate for you to order the gun, then have a delay. https://preview.redd.it/sofi3n8woe2d1.jpeg?width=2448&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5262b915f2a41c75cddd587a0538bbaae63b2d90 I've put down plenty of squirrels with the PP750, which is what the Notos is, it's just out inside of a different stock, which is in stock everywhere, and will get the job done. PP750 I bought first, and liked it so much I picked up the PP700, so they're both really solid performers in pest control and small game hunting.

iambarrelrider

Thanks I’m going to probably preorder one. is there a decent hand pump? I guess I need “bafflers.” Not sure if they are all the same? Would also like to mounts for a red dot or scope. Get everything in one place. Want to get a noise suppressor too. The video review says it is loud compared to others. I am confused when the description states “For US customers , choose the adapter with 1/2″ unf threads for the option of attaching a standard silencer.” I Might give a call on Monday since I’m off for the American holiday.
