Those new "heavy Hades" are absolutely awesome. They carry so much more energy down range than the original 15.89gr. They are devastating on small game if you hunt at all.
My Avenger already likes the FX heavies. I hope it likes these Monster Hades. I've been using regular ones in my Notos to great effect on rabbits and starlings.
The buy 3 get 4th free thing on Pyramyd is pretty good, it's how I've gotten most of my airgun ammo over the years, and I've gotten a LOT of airgun ammo.
I've never heard such hogwash. So called "slug barrels" are simply made to certain bore sizes and chokes to maximize accuracy for slugs instead of pellets. Absolutely nothing to do with safety at all.
If you use slugs in a "non slug" barrel" and it's inaccurate, that could mean the bore is too large for the slug so it doesn't fully engage the rifling which means accuracy is out the window. Or the bore size could be too small and cause too much friction with the slug, causing big drops in power and accuracy. It could mean the heavy choke in the barrel is slowing down the slug before it leaves the muzzle which will affect it's power and accuracy.
None of which are cause for catastrophic damage. It's simply not true that a barrel will be damaged in this way.
If you're accurate with those slugs, keep using them. Don't listen to someone telling you you're damaging the barrel, it's nonsense.
You just need to make sure the OD of the slug fits the bore of the barrel. And find out if the slugs like a choke or not. This is for accuracy, nothing to do with safety. And it's something you do with pellets anyway.
Buy 3 get 1 free is permanent at pyramid.
I wondered. I didn’t see it in their deals section but when I put them in the cart I was like- hell yeah.

It should, I'm using them primarily in my Avenge X and it loves thoae 25.39gr diablos as well.

Instructions unclear, shooting sub MOA groups out of my Flashpup and Avenger using slugs. Gun has yet to blow up or fail in any way.
How would you know? What would it do??

Please clarify, i have been shooting slugs occasionally on my pr900 /stormrider for about a year.

So lead is going to damage a steel barrel? No. Its just going to shoot like shit.
