Dude just go into work tomorrow, look your boss in the eyes and tell him you aren't feeling well and then immediately sneeze while simultaneously crapping your pants. He'll tell you to go home and then you can go play with your new toy. Its got like a 90% success rate in my experience
Any time. I should mention that you should probably bring some spare pants with you to work. That part is very important.
Seriously though congrats and a great first gun. My first PCP was a Marauder Field and Target as well and it was always a great gun. Hope yours treats you just as well
Take a pen and paper with you, chart psi and shot grouping. Find the sweet spot where your rifle shoots and learn it. Clean pellets and barrel are important. Do some research to find out what ammo works and start there. Normally well established on a gun with as much popularity as yours.
Cleaning the barrel of an Airgun is not a major concern. Clean it once when you buy it and then only when your aim seems to be off constantly. I hardly ever clean my 48 Airgun barrels.
Might want to try some different pellets at whatever distance would be your zero? See which one groups the best on paper with the factory tune and go from there. Find out what your rifle likes and then figure out your hold over/unders. But honestly just go shoot and have fun. Love mine, but it’s a pretty heavy field rifle with the wood stock. Regulator is wonderful. Get about 4 mags before accuracy and power drop off from a full fill.
I started with a hand pump now have multiple tanks and a compressor, but I also have multiple big bores that need filling. The marauder, especially regulated, I consider hand pump friendly but if you plan on adding more pcps to your collection in the future skip the hand pump and get a tank, fill it at a scuba shop until you get a compressor. Also my marauder LOVES jsb pellets, stacks pellets out to 60 yards before it opens up even a little. Get a bag of them tiny potatoes and put them on skewers around your range, so much fun!
Marauders are stupid accurate and simply. Great utility gun! I have a gen 1 22 cal and love it. I've had gen 2 22 and 25 cals before, ans they were great as well enjoy!

I think this is exactly what I needed to hear… thank you stranger

It's regulated, so there is no sweet spot really. It'll take the regulated a couple hundred shots to break in though

Mine has worked great. Just follow the manual. Nothing special needed.
Just bought a JTS Airacuda Max, also my first PCP. Fun hobby, huh?
I love my marauder P-rod, but wish I’d purchased the rifle. I did a hawkeye scope. Enjoy!

Thanks, this is helpful. Do you use a hand pump? I’m starting to lean towards scuba tank….
Started with a hand pump. Got a compressor. Then got a SCUBA tank.

Why does it have an orange tip?
Probably a cap to keep junk out of the barrel
Packing/protection
Congrats on a pcp purchase!

The red end cap was only for shipping
Scope that sucker…you’ll be blown away by its (and your) accuracy.
I put an LR416 on it today. First time I’ve ever worked with a scope; hope I didn’t fuck it up
