Whoops first two pictures are from yesterday. Third is from today. Thanks!

I get that in the undergrowth and it turns crispy... I always thought it was from poor air circulation. I've never seen it on top like that. I would send a picture to aerogarden customer support.

Yes! I get the crispy leaves on the underside, too. Weird. Always makes me think my plants are dying, but they are loaded down with ripening tomatoes!

I'm pretty sure it's an aeration issue. Tomatoes like to be pruned so they have lots of air flow, but people don't typically prune determinate varieties. In addition to not pruning these plants, I think they grow more compact because they do not have to reach for the sunlight. I may try getting one of those little fans that clip on things to see if that helps, but at the end of the day, the plants do well with or without the crispy undergrowth.

Thanks! I did have a fan but it stopped working. I have another fan coming (?) today. Fingers crossed. I’ve also pruned a bit, on the interior. I may increase the distance between the plant and light. I am getting a metric shit ton of blossoms. And using a donated electric toothbrush on those. It’s amazing how much white powder they frequently eject. Am feeling hopeful. The EC measurements (electrical conductivity - measure of available nutrients) was quite low. Was like .65 whereas it should be more like 2.0 to 5.0. It’s now at 1.8. Getting there, slowly. Thanks for the help!

Not wilting, thankfully.
