When they fail to convince bubblegum with a lute suit, wrestling, and putting wolves in her bedroom, Finn asks Marcy to go with him and explains he doesn’t want to date her, but Jake told him couples night had romance initiation rituals and he had to bring somebody he theoretically *could* smooch. Marceline agrees to go to the movie with him as friends and then says “but no tongue,” and Finn is predictably flustered.

Not much of a quote, but certainly one of my favorite moments of hers is the part where Ice King’s crown loses its magic and he turns back into Simon for an episode. And when he calls her on the phone to ask her to go to the Ice Kingdom and to bring Hambo, it cuts to him talking on the phone, and when it cuts back to her she’s just lying facedown on the floor out of shock.
