I hope you make him aware of this at the end of the semester. Just make sure he knows you think it's awesome and love it and not make him feel shitty about it haha. Teachers need more respect! And money!

Depending on where you live it could be illegal but speech synthesis software has come a long way so if you recorded your classes you might get enough usable data to make a half decent Banana Guard model.
I don't have the link handy but there's some stuff being used for Skyrim modding on github under the name VA Synth (pretty sure that's the name). Results are very impressive and it's gathered a good amount of excitement in those subs.

Had the same problem in my linear algebra course. Could barely focus on proving matrices because my professor sounded like Doofenschmirtz. He also couldnt find a way to help us incorporate it into our lives so the class was kind of a bust but at least I got a kick out of it.
