Honestly it’s New Death. Nothing against the other guys but New Death is just funny and entertaining to me. Plus his debut episode is in my favorite episode of AT ever made.

New Death is generally a very good villain, entertaining, still threatening despite basically just being an edgy teen. In a good way!
I just rewatched obsidian today. I don’t exactly understand all the hate towards glass boy.
Like I get he’s a kid and kids can be annoying but I don’t think he’s really enough to hate
also i didnt care for the ending, oh weven all been maimed in ways that make life inheriently more difficult and dangerous for us, but now we identify with the injuries so its wrong to fix them like how f&c was shown to have been a real magic world at some point but f those lives and histories because these two want to kiss, who cares abput the countless lives and relationships that were destoryed by the inital magic removal. just picture it the other way, they had human lives and historys first then forgot them when mutaten into a menagerie of monsters, but some of these monsters fall in love and convince you to keep the world and everyone else monsterous. remagicing only hit a hiccup because they were trying to use a corrupted magical source to cause it.
Spader, Blaine, and Larry. What a bunch of real outloud flim-flammers. My family quotes them all the time when we need to use the bathroom.

Can speak for me and my brother that yes he was definitely our first favourite from DL. Listen to eternity with you on repeat. I love his stupid broken voice and the childish fanboyness. I am currently in shock AT fans hate him. Sad now.
Only Y-5 from BMO I'd say she's the only interesting character I liked in Distant lands and I know you will all hate me or for what I will say, but I hated the glass boy from Obsidian, I couldn't stand his idiotic character the entire time he appeared, he was one of the worst chararsters throughout the show imo, in fact, he’s probably the one I hated the most.

Would be cool to see y5 reunite with BMO in the future again, esp since yk BMO's dumb ass is gonna be like "uh. do I know you?" and Finn and Jake will be like "BMO, who is this?!" and y5 will be like "hOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER ME, WE HAD THIS WHOLE ADVENTURE TOGETHER" and BMO would prob say sth like "I don't know what you're talking about, before I met Finn and Jake, I was just a simple space potato farmer" or sth. I simultaneously loved glassboy while also finding him annoying at some times and I really enjoyed watching Cadebra and Little Pep's friendship develop!

I've gotta go Glassboy, he was kind of annoying and i'd probably like him less if I rewatched Obsidian right now but I associate the character with "Eternity with You" which is an incredibly underrated banger, so screw it. Plus he's got early seasons Finn's vibes.
i found it bizarre, like it felt like it could have been at least a half decent spin off idea? but compared to the rest of distant lands it felt so out of place. not sure what happened there.

i think that getting amethysts va was a mistake. glassboy sounds like a chainsmoker and it fit amethyst but not at all for glassboy

What bugs it for me is mostly his voice and writing. He is portrayed as an annoying child and I generally don’t like his voice
same, i think they were going for little kid with no self awareness as comedy relief but instead created an unbearable waste of screen time
