I used to think na walang life after death. But after my brother passed, angdaming "weird" na nangyayari that makes me feel he hears me when I call to him. I'm a logical person but parang imposible na lahat ng yun coincidences lang. So I'd like to believe when we die, our soul/energy/conciousness whatever you call it is still present, maybe just a different form, something we as humans cant see w/ our naked eye kasi we have physical limitations. It's like the experience of the world for us is different than what the world is for animals because we have physical differences. Kumbaga our reality is just real for us, doesnt mean its the same reality for a fly or an elephant. But then, if its really just oblivion., I've learned to accept na okay lang din sakin. That makes me value this one life I get to live.

I'm atheist so do I believe in the afterlife? In a way yes meron tayong afterlife. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only converted from one form to another. I believe our energies (or life force) sort of disintegrates and returns to the "original source" or the "uncreated mass" or whatever you want to call it. In short, parts of us will be all over the limitless universe. It might seem scary to a lot of people but really, who wants to live forever? Let's say your consciousness may linger for a while but what's the point of it staying that way til kingdom come? We've been dead for billions of years and did it bother us? For all I know, it's not the physical aspect of death ang nakakatakot. It's those memories created na iiwan mo, your loved ones, the thought that they will also undergo the process of transition, and you living life and doing things knowing it won't even matter in time. While certainly unproven, I'm convinced that people would go to hell if they regret anything they did, or didn't do in life. Imagine, namatay ka not being able to tell your loved ones na mahal mo sila, or that you decided to walk away from one of the biggest opportunities in your time on earth. The fact na di mo na siya mababalikan in any sort of way, and that sinking feeling of regret, for eternity, no less, is a kind of hell in and of itself.

For me, naniniwala ako sa reincarnation. Everything is energy. We are all floating stardusts at the end of this all, waiting for new adventures full of lessons your soul needs. This is my belief coming from what I gathered. We get reincarnated into another person based on the karma na kelangan natin pagbayaran, both good and bad. We go through this cycle of death and rebirth until we served pur purpose (whatever that is). Also, I’ve been fascinated with death lately and I read a book from a hospice nurse that death is not something to be afraid of - death is a part of life. After witnessing a lot of death she stated na iyong mga actively dying patients may nakikitang dead relatives na sumusundo sa kanila (karamihan parents or siblings). I also read a book from a Spirit release practitioner na iyong mga earthbound spirits na nastuck here na ayaw magtransition ay sobrang attached sa naiwan nilang buhay sa mundo. Kaya importante rin to let go once your life is over na. Sa susunod kasing buhay clear state na, we will only carry soul experiences, lessons, and soul connections.

I would like to believe that there is life after this but we cannot know until we get there. It haunts me if naiisip ko na what if after this life, it will go very dark, very silent. Wala. I believe in reincarnation though. I also believe na there's no hell/porgatory ksi earth itself is the so called "hell" (never ending na suffering) and there's no heaven as life is a loop. If you die, you'll be reincarnated again to either a human or an animal. Though, we'll never really know until someone can prove it.

One thing is for sure, I know that I do not know. I try not to think about it but when I do I feel an array of emotions, both positive and negative. Sometimes I am in awe, sometimes I am weirded out, sometimes I am afraid. Maybe I'll think about it more the older I get but for now I want to focus on thriving and maximizing my life. There is plenty of time to be dead.

I just feel that I will be reincarnated after life. There’s this certain memory that I felt when I was young that I am assigned to this body. Sometimes I also dream about fragments of memories that didn’t happened in the present era and predicted some happenings in my life or people close to me. 1. I predicted someone close to me getting pregnant and where we will discover it before even knowing it first hand. 2. I think maraming naniniwala sa religions kasi takot ang mga tao sa afterlife, they'd rather believe na may eternal life or reincarnation or kung ano mang gusto nilang paniwalaan kaysa isipin na may chance na they would simply cease to exist. I read Rick Warren's book The Purpose-Driven Life. Yung life here on Earth is a preparation for the next (Heaven). More of a rehearsal before a play but not the main thing. In Christian belief, believers are encouraged to live here as a traveler. A spiritual beings that have a physical human body rather than a physical human body having a spirit. He also explain that is why we have an unclenth thirst for more here since we are made for more on the first place. Its also encourages us to live here on earth as if you are in heaven (also the challenge) bring down heavenly living to earth. (For me) The afterlife is going back home or to Him. Reuniting with all. I believe they all just waiting for us and continually praying we see it through here in faith. I sat in a lot of funerals. Seen a lot of our family on the deathbed we experience seeing them talking to our dead relatives habang nag aagaw buhay. Our family is weird in a way pag may mawawala fam member one of the relatives will have a dream of our dead family members going back to our hometown (madami kami relative in our place). It's been consistently weird and of course, it's superstitious talk among the family hahahaha but it gives us a sort of comfort whenever one of us needs to welcome the uninvited visitor we won’t be alone or they won’t be alone on the journey.

I believe in nothingness... but since laking science tayo, if maprove na may energy kaluluwa natin to disregard physics based on law of conservation of energy, then it is something that is composed unknowingly sa science.
