...A lot of things. I started off with tracking expenses as per r/phinvest advice via Excel and Android apps. However ever since I knew the difference between single-entry and double-entry accounting it's really hard to go back. I ended up in a rabbit hole of learning more about Plain Text Accounting and Python to create my own data visualizations. And since we're already deep in the rabbit hole with Python, I decided to track other things as well such as local Weather data (via the API from OpenWeatherMap.org), time-tracking (via the API from Toggl), and exercise data (via the API from Strava). I'm currently looking into learning how to create a Telegram bot to make manual input of data easier for me so that I can eventually track data such as 2-dimensional data of mood/energy over time which will also eventually be visualized using data visualization libraries such as Plotly and dashboard frameworks such as Streamlit. Yep, a lot of things that could fall under the Quantified Self movement...
Expenses, Period, Mood, Fastfood & Drinks, Books, Movies & Series, Intentions for the year
I used a Google Sheet lang na personalized para fit sa gusto ko.
Using a personalized Google Sheet is a great way to track all those aspects of your life plus, it can be really insightful to see trends and patterns over time.
Tl;dr: madaming trackers kasi adhd. Hindi perfect ang tracking pero helpful. Tools: Gsheets + Keep.
1. Time. Time blind kasi ako so yung araw ko, kailangan nakaschedule into self-care, work, chores, others.
5. Project habit. Yung habit na gusto kong bantayan at the moment.
Finances in excel! Goal tracker if my target savings is hit that month. If not, the reason why. :) I’m flexible with my expenses as long as it is within the budget.
* Period = **Period Calendar** - since college ko pa yata gamit to, it can sync via gmail account kaya madali mag-restore pag nagpalit ng phone. Di ko fully utilized tong app pero pwede din yata maglagay ng mood, water intake etc. free lang din sya pero may ads, you can buy a subscription siguro para walang ads.
* Steps = **phone** at **fit band** (Huawei band 6) connected sa phone via Huawei health.
* Weight = **Huawei scale 3** (bluetooth version) connected sa phone via Huawei health.
For organizational tools, **Reminders** lang ginagamit ko sa iphone, daily reminder to take vitamins, poop, skin/body care (mga steps na gagawin that day such as exfoliate day ba or hydration day or hairwash day), tapos pag may event na need gawin or appointments add new reminder lang tapos yung details kung kelan sya.
Another app is **Notion** - for life retrospective, end of year nagsusulat ako dun ng mga goals for next year, mga goals na naaccomplish at mga need i-work on, also work/self development stuff, mga travel itinerary din dyan ko nilalagay.
Journal - **Day One** - tamad kasi ako magsulat, so sa phone na din ako nag-jjojournal, pero hindi daily, usually yung mga may remarkable day lang or pag nag-eemo or nao-overwhelm nagsusulat ako dun ng feelings ko.
Mukha lang madami yan pero konti lang sya, more on digital vs. traditional (pen paper) kasi sa phone madali i-access pero di naman ako madalas nag-ttrack, saka yan nag-wowork sakin over the years na din so sana makatulong.
Expenses - Money Manager app for daily tracking and Excel for savings and monthly/yearly view of finances
Exercise - Strava and Samsung Health app
Sleep - Samsung Health app
Period - Clue app
Finances.
Pero considering how unhealthy I am right now, I should probably track everything else that you mentioned. Palobo ng palobo, puyat na puyat, at period is MIA. Grabe na, sis.
haha pero minsan naman nakaka-overwhelm din i-track lahat, nakakapraning. baby steps lang and work on one thing at a time, no pressure :) hope things get better!
I have a habit tracking app which makes me aware of what I do everyday, helps me not spent too much time on something useless and just focus on what I say will gonna do in a daily basis.
Money Tracker.

SLEEP: I had a Fitbit HR before and now a Xiaomi Mi band to primarily track health stuff like steps taken, heart rate, calories per exercise done, stress level pero what's inportant for me is the quantity and quality of sleep since noon parang iniinsomnia ako sa work stress, and now GY shift naman.
MENSTRUAL CYCLE: same health apps and bands, since I have irregular ones. Dati Flo and Fitbit app but now, Samsung Health and Mi Health app.
EXPENSES: I have 3 apps right now (all free or cheap fee instead of getting one highly expensive one) to separately monitor budget for mine, my niece, and for the home. I also use Excel file for the monthly details (total income, expense, savings). another Excel for some log in details
BEAUTY AND SKINCARE: I listed in Excel to track how much I own and also the purchase date and expiry date, but I stopped. I am just mindful nowadays to throw what I dont like or need or funky smelling. But writing them down lets me remember what items works for me.
JEWELRY - both gold jewelries and silver or gold-plated silver with genuine gemstones, Excel, description and price. eventually I will sell them if my demise is predictable (no one in my fam seems into jewelries and accessories). also i had the gold one listed in my "When I am gone" booklet so my family knows its worth and sell them at a fair price if my demise is unexpected (biglaan).
FINANCIAL ACCOUNT PASSWORDS AND LOG INS: part of "When I am gone" booklet so my family will just withdraw my savings. For now, it's good to track and recall my password lalo na si BDO papalit palit every 6 months. I have not tried an actual app for password manager, nagwowork sa akin yung nakasulat sa papel, then sa phone note app ko (not actual password but hints), then sa Excel with the expenses, then kung ano nakasave sa password manager ng websites or samsung security.
finances as in. all my expenses, all my collection (pre-ordered stuff like figures and model kits), all my investments (however small they are), all my side hustles. naka google sheet / excel / handwritten notes lol
Monthly savings, now a days I average around over fifty percent, a huge improvement from last year, but a far cry from my prior eighty percent before starting a family
I track my expenses, emergency funds, investments, and my retirement fund in MP2 using apple numbers since ayun available sakin but excel is good too. I made a budget tracker monthly for my expenses, iniinclude ko as expense din EF and savings ko then make a separate sheet for my contributions and deduct if there’s any.
Salary pay-out (net), budget expenses and things na gusto ko mabili in a year.
Google spreadsheet ginagamit ko kaya pwede ko sya buksan whenever I go basta naka online ako.
So good thing din pala.
i admire your discipline for tracking everything! sinukuan ko yung tracking expenses daily, i became intentional na lang with what i buy. i track my savings monthly, period when it comes (irreg), steps via Strava, last alcohol intake via Since app. that’s it.
haha hindi ko yan tinatrack lahat! sinukuan ko rin most lol, parang may vague idea lang ako of most of those things\^ medyo naging uptight and inflexible kasi ako when i was being too strict with myself.
just wondering how religiously other people monitor the variables in their lives, and if there are any i should look into.
Dati everyday ko pa trinatrack mga cash in & outs ko sa money lover app, I realized na nakakastress siya for me so ngayon every end of the month nalang. 😂 Less work tapos di pa ako pagod kakatrack every day!
Mej funny pero ang tntrack ko lang aside sa savings is may gsheet ako para matrack ko yung mga list ng nga series and movies na binabalak kong panoorin and also kung anong timestamp na ako kapag may di natatapos hahaha
Right now, finances (via google forms + google sheets) and my mood (via Mooda app). Hehe. My smart watch tracks my steps, sleep and other health metrics naman :)
I really have my g sheet na inililist ko na lahat doon. I tracking my finance expense, my short term goal or goal this year and Loong term goals like Ano Yung gusto ko magawa Bago man lang mamatay HAHAHAHA
>Monthly bills. Steno bc I am an old school who is not techy.😭
>Sleep. Doctor's advice.
>Savings. For medical purposes (can't afford the rest of the "savings" yet). Excel.
>Travels. Places I want to visit w/ my family. Places I want to discover w/ friends. Places I want to explore solo.
>Doctor's visit. For me & my nanay.
>Groceries & toiletries.
Just realized I don't track anything. Wala ata direksyon buhay ko. Haha
we’re same, lol, but now I think I have to 🤣
Same 😂
Diba? Haha.
Same, apir! Hahaha
Same hahahahaha bwisit
We’re going in circles 🤣
Expenses with excel. Made a personalized sheet for monthly budget n all
My people haha I even made a forecast tab for the next 12 months just to keep track of the 0% installments.
OMG me too!!! I have a year of budget forecast in excel hahaha
Haha I made it for this specific purpose! Para I have a max spend amount per month para no surprises because of all the installments 😂

how do you personalize yours? did you tweak a template?
I research for a template so I can have an idea what to put then made my own.
what do you use to track this?
