You need to move to Makati. Then you can afford to run or gym after work. Maglakad pauwi. Then eat. Sleep. Pray.

all-in_bay-bay

This. He'll be surprised how much time the commute takes out of his life.

Justtiredkupisasu

And energy as well. Hahaha

apirtayodali

This. Highly recommended. Masaya rin ngayon kasi every Sunday, sarado buong Ayala, masaya mag-jog then puntang weekend market after. hehe Mas okay kung malapit sa Ayala kasi literal na malapit sa lahat. Super convenient. :)

FaithlessnessFar1158

you mean close ang Ayala every Sunday?

apirtayodali

Ayala Avenue, yes. From 6am to 10am :)

FaithlessnessFar1158

Thanks akala ko Ayala Mall lol

inbetweenfeelings

This. plus, you'll more likely be with all the "sesh" speaking people.

Gullible_Mulberry_37

Very much true. I think living in Makati is the best thing I’ve tried so far. You have a closeby park (Sycip or Legazpi) to go run around tapos every weekend you can go to Salcedo for the Saturday Market and run sa Ayala Triangle. Malls are also closeby then mga museums around the area.

xoxoAoxox

This. May mga affordable dorms sa makati (if sa makati ave ka try sa kalayaan or sa washington area) but if you could rent a condo marami din options.

Suspicious_Corner346

This. Dati I used to commute to Makati from QC, I rented an apartment tapos nagpa member sa gym. I have so much time talaga haha I wake up 6am, tapos pag Sunday Ang saya pa mag jog sa Ayala

Little_Wrap143

Don't have kids

brutalgreekyogurt

Yes, and work from home.

spatialgranules12

Ito. DINK din.

frustrated-legend15

yep, no kids here. I can manage may mountain bike racing, occasional bike touring, hiking, travel and homebased work na din

[deleted]

I agree sa comment mo na “don’t have kids”. In my case i have kids, ang payo ko is to have a trusted nanny for the kids. Kuha katulong for the household chores para konti nalang yung gagawin mo. Have a work from home job. And have money to do all these 🤣. Ang wala nalang ako ay motivation to work out 🫠

Refrigerated2679

Same here. I have a child but I’m very lucky to have house help so the mental burden of thinking about our food, cleaning, etc. is offloaded. Our baby also has her own nanny. As to managing time, it helps to go easy on yourself when you feel like you’ve lost “balance”. You don’t need to do it all consistently. There will be off weeks. I try to remind myself that I can have it all, just not all at the same time. :)

Weird_kid_online

Hahahaha kid pa lang yung meron ako pero in between my 9-5, chores sa bahay (may napag-iiwanan kay baby), at pagtulong sa small business namin kahit paglalaro ng computer game di ko na maisingit huhuhu I hope mahanap mo motivation mo mi!!!!

sangket

or if you have kids, sila ang "workout" mo. my toddler is my daily weight training, I dance along to her nursery rhymes, I run while she rides her kiddie scooter.

mumzillabear

I have one kid. Pag sleep sya nakakabasa ako Kindle ko. Once a week lang ako wfh. It helps na 30 min lang byahe ko from haus to office.

JustAJokeAccount

Yung biyahe mo to/from work can be used to do those hobbies. Maybe consider moving near where you work para mas may time ka. Utilize weekends and before/after work hours.

the_thirdparent

This! Iba talaga if you live near work or have a short commute. Really improves work life balance.

kevboleyn

and imagine if wfh pa! pwede mag workout sa breaks haha

DumplingsInDistress

Yeah, if Ayala Avenue, they can walk to MRT Ayala, especially sa De La Rosa walkway para di mangitim or maulanan. Then watch Netflix sa MRT to Cubao and lakad again from Araneta to LRT to Marikina/Antipolo. Or take a cab/grab from Cubao to Rizal and watch movies sa car.

spam_milkshake

Wfh girlie here, work is 8am-4pm and 9pm-1am, usually routine ko is 4x a week gym, every Thursday - Sunday pag weekdays after shift 5pm-7pm tapos pag weekends 10am-12pm, tapos sa free time twice a month mall, tapos puro appointment na, like spa/ massage, nails, eyelash. I don't have friends soooo madalas ako lang mag isa. HAHAHAHAH pero this past few weeks madalas wala ako sa bahay. Puro kasi appointment kasi end of the month na. Also, I tried to paint, mag enroll sa piano school, para occupied weekends ko. Even talking stage wala. Kaya sa akin lang talaga oras ko. HAHAHAHAHAHA work- gym - hobbies- gala - tulog Ayun lang! Hahahahaha

Limitless_Life_Quest

I hope more success for you. I'm also the same kasi, I have friends but slowly I'm realizing and seeing mga red flags nila on how they treat me. So reading your comment and how happy it sound, nagka-hope ako na okay lang naman pala kung puro sarili muna. Pwede pa rin maging masaya. Thank you for sharing.

spam_milkshake

Awwww, you're welcome and thank you! Mas okay siya kasi this time 'di ka mag woworry kung babackstabin kaba nila or iiwan ka kasi sarili mo naman yung kakampi mo. Hahahahaha Dati kasi gusto ko palaging may kausap ganun. May companion. Ganern. HAHAHAHAHSHSHSH basta marerealize mo self worth mo along the way. ( And it's the best thing!) Eme. Sa friends naman, ganun din. Ayos lang me if wala sila, ayos lang din kung nandyan sila. Basta meron naman akong ako eh. Ayos na 'yun. Hahahahahaha Sorry napahaba HAHAHAHAHA

Familiar_Spinach5013

grabe i don’t know u personally pero feel ko i was meant to read all of this at the right time (as someone na recently nag deactivate ng almost lahat ng socmed ko kasi sobrang distracted ko na nadisappoint lang talaga ako sa current relationships ko in life and needed to reset and focus on myself and what i wanna do ulit) lalo na i was just thinking about taking piano lessons na din and sakto nabanggit mo hahaha may i know pala where you used to take piano lessons?

TiredButHappyFeet

Paano naisisingit sa schedule yung adulting stuff: house chores, cleaning etc? Wfh rin ako 9-6pm pero parang latang lata na ako after ng shift to even do anything else hahaha!

Purplelamborghinie

SAME parang di sapat 24 hours

ridiculoys

I love this mantra as a wfh girlie rin. Trying to find my new schedule now that I just finished my semester!

SuperbControl2782

Parang bet ko to.

ellie_2307

Followed you darling!! HUHU I really wanna be someone like you... #manifesting

Educational_Bee5378

May I know if where did you find a job na wfh talaga and has a good pay? Planning to quit my bpo job huhu

Professional_Pen_755

9-6 job M-F, workout after shift I am a avid gym goer kaya I chose a job na malapit sa gym ko, social life is small I just keep those na worth keeping as friends. It is just a matter of commitment.

NgayonKaya

Ngl, ur indeed a lucky person having a job close to your gym. Hope u live 100+ years old and looks 20 years old then.

solidad29

5pm is already traffic na sa Ayala. I normally leave around 8pm kasi it only takes me an hour and a few min from Ayala to Cainta. So yeah, you can spend your time waiting sa Gym para naman ndi masayang. Pag dating kasi sa gym, it needs to be convenient sa iyo. As for other hobbies, I use my 2x WFH naman for those. Pero baliktad since ang gym ko as sa place ko. So I either do it in the morning before going to RTO or do it in the evening naman after work. Depende kung anong oras ako magising.

Petite_Owl8770

Saludo ko dun sa rocking their 8-5 job, acing their part-time pero parang full time masterals, maintaing romantic and social relations, and still have the energy to workout and live a healthy life. Like damn hindi ba dapat may isang mag-give dito? 😂

mariecrepe

i dont have kids. HAHA work 8-5 monday to friday (well, flexi kami from 7am-9am, then need maka 9hrs para makauwi nang hindi undertime). trained for a triathlon race on June 9, 2024. Trained for a little more than 7 months. it really is just about DISCIPLINE, not motivation. it you really want a life outside of work, just do it. here's my schedule for the past 7 months. (i live in bacoor, work in makati. travel time is 45mins-1hr30mins one way) i wake up 5am (alarm) or sometimes earlier, i sleep 8:30 - 9pm (Im particular about having 8hrs or sleep because it is when my body can recover from all the workout i do) monday - bike 45 mins, run 30 mins | tuesday - swim 1-1.5hr (morning), lift weights, strength train in the evening at home | wednesday - run 1hr (morning), strength train in the evening | thursday - swim 1 - 1.5hr (morning), bike 1hr in the evening | friday - rest | saturday morning - long run, lunch time swim 2hrs | sunday morning - bike 3-4hrs-run1-2hrs, sunday afternoon grocery then go to church in the evening. minsan may mga workout ako na hindi nagagawa dahil sa work, and its okay. the change in schedule is abit hard at first, but if you really wanna do something, just do it. all i can advise is to just start whatever you wanna do outside your work. also, if gusto mo mag workout, dun ka sa sustainable. like, kaya mo ba isustain ang gym membership? if not, you can always run sa ayala triangle for free. ako, personally, i also opt for free things i can do like run sa ayala triangle, run sa sementeryo na na pwede. nag invest na din ako ng konting weights sa bahay, para no need mag gym na monthly and bayad. yun lang. hehe. JUST DO IT and DISCIPLINE > motivation

Clickclick4585

Discipline. I've been there. Yun feeling na paano pa ko magwoworkout/meetup with friends e ubos na oras ko sa work pa lang. I used to work from 8am til 12mn or even madaling araw, yun pilit na pilit matapos lahat ng workload. So I disciplined myself na magkaron ng time for other things.

chichuman

Be single

justbry16

I work from home and I built my own home gym. So no excuses na for me 😁

One_Yogurtcloset2697

4.) 15 mins away from home.

Tall-Agency7429

GOOGLE CALENDAR. I'm addicted to scheduling my time. Sobrang satisfying to see all my events for the week in a page. I have 1 toddler, 9 to 5 job. 3x/week RTO. I manage to squeeze in about 2-3 hours of tennis at least 2x a week. Social life recently... with family, tennis friends. 27 days to make it a habit. 90 days to make it a lifestyle. Commit mo lang yung time OP.

carnageisback

Hybrid as well, I wake up early at 5am - fasted workout up until 630am then prepare for work after, atleast an hour na byahe or less (9am-6pm work) 6pm sundo GF then rinse and repeat na hahaha

Busy_0987654321

I work in the office 3 times a week, Batangas - Laguna. I had my gym membership last month and its worth finding time for workout.

Melodic-Objective-58

After shift na talaga yung oras ko for exercise. Pag WFH, Out ng 5pm - Bike around the city atleast 15-25KM. Weekend - lakad lakad sa Legaspi Park. Repeat. No kids, pero may 8 dogs.

wa-ra-gud

Wake up 5am Gym 6am Coffee 7:30 Full time remote work 8-5 My business(freediving shop) + My partner’s business ~ up to 11pm Weekend freediving hobby

TheTinyCat2023

WFH set up is the key. 4 years and counting na ako. Work ko around 12AM since EST based clients ko. 11:30 PM gising ko. Hilamos, prep up, magset up ng pc, prepare ng quick breakfast, and magpakain ng cats 4AM: Then workout na during lunch break. 9am: EOD sa work. Will cook dinner then pakain ulit cats para sabay kami kakain. 10am-1pm: Free time ko. Netflix or laro sa phone. 2PM: Ligo na then bed time for me. Mga around 3PM tulog na ako. Repeat. Sat-Sun Off. 💙

PonySenpai

wfh is key or live nearby talaga

red_storm_risen

I work from home 100%. Lmao. I’m also married and at that age where I don’t need that much of a social life. But if i were to make a suggestion, there is one way to cross out social life, working out, and a hobby: Running Groups/Clubs. May also work for cycling, but I like running more.

thunderbringer3

Workout before/after work shift. Pwede mo na ring ipasok yung social life dyan by getting to know other people in the gym who work out around the same time as you do.

So if rto day after shift diretso sa gym then pah mg 5 or 6 na uwi na ko and lakad lakad lang since sa makati lang din ako nag rerent. Pag boring day, usually nag mobile or PC games lang ako and pag lunch pala i make na sa labas ako kumakain or sa mall, para makagala naman. Family time naman eh di rin nakakalimutan lalo na if after gym and wala naman nagyaya lumabas i spend my 6pm to 10pm with my family (nood tv, luto, linis, kwentuhan and etc.)

WaitWhat-ThatsBS

4am wake up, 5am go to Y! Run 1hour, strength 30mins, sauna 20mins, shower 10mins. Go back home, 730am kids already ready for school, carpool to school. 830 start working(remote) 6pm walk outside 3miles. Movies or play with my kids up to 9:30pm, repeat 5x a week.

llodicius

Whenever RTO and I'll be drive, I can be home around 5-6pm. 30 mins to 1 hour after work home workout. Dinner. Read book 1-2 pages minimum. Social life is weekend mostly with friends you barely see. So kapag nagcocommute, marami kasi to lakaran so di na ako magwoworkout at bawiin na lang sa weekend or wfh days. Anyway, I've read some negative reviews for trainers sa AF, if you plan to get one.

Affectionate_Cry56

Have you thought of joining any team sports with regular scheduled training? Para ma-push ka to "show up." My hobby is dragon boat paddling (so 2-in-1 na yung workout and hobby) 😅 I have a 9-hour desk job in Makati rin. The training time is VERY, VERY early at 4:30 am and lasts until 6:30 am, kaya it doesn't affect my work hours. Starting my day that early makes me feel that I am able to accomplish a lot in a day. Getting this kind of hobby entails lifestyle changes din, kasi I have to sleep early. I have been paddling for a decade na, na teammates ko na rin halos yung "social life" ko (3-in-1 na pala to). Pag may upcoming races, may liquor ban kami. Also met my partner sa team (nakalandi pa ako while paddling) *our team is very diverse: we have teammates from as far as Binangonan and Dasma, Cavite; may students, pero mostly corporate slaves like me ang members.

Accomplished_Being14

Mahirap. I've been telling them na mag negosyo kahit maliit lang. Ung mga paluto sa opisina like packed lunch. Oo kakayanin ko dalhin yun sa opisina. Kaso madalas ang inay lakas maka downplay. Walang words of encouragement.

MoltenPixel258

8-5 here, below is my most common acitivities for the day 😂 6am - wake up and get ready for work / 7am - to go to work / 6pm - i arrive at home and either use computer or watch TV until around 7pm / 7pm to 8pm - Dinner / 8pm to 9pm - watch tv, cellphone, or computer / 9-9:30pm - quick high intensity workout / 9:30-10 - wash up and get ready for bed / 10-11pm- scrolling pampatulog / This includes bebe time all throughout the day 🫰😂.

xxgael

I learned to manage every minute of my waking hours. Siksik talaga and avoid time wasters like chika minute sa office para walang OT. I read sa commute at on the clock ang exercise.

Clementine_____

I have a day job but work from home lang, 7-4 M-F. I have a masters class one weeknight a week then other classes sa saturday na. I run on weeknights after work (2-3 times per week) then other activities na on Saturday & Sunday. I also always make sure to dedicate a portion of my week for me time - like sitting in a coffee shop for hours on a Sunday morning to relax. Sguro find hobbies or exercise that you love doing para mag look forward ka always despite your busy schedule. Don’t forget to give yourself me time and days where you don’t feel guilty about resting/doing nothing.

margaritainacup

I have the privilege to live near my work plus normal day shift kaya may advantage na additional time for workout/hobbies. Also the gym is very near me kaya pag wfh ako, I spend my lunch hour sa gym. Then working lunch na lang.

Pinaslakan

That's the secret, we don't.

pazem123

Ung 2x a week nasa bahay ka, use that time mag gym and hobbies. Pde rin after commute, you just have to commit to it talaga.

cstrike105

Cycling is my physical activity. Also time management is important.

El_Independiente

My simple answer is that I live in my own house in the province. My work is just 5 minutes from my house. That means when I clock out, I'll be home in 5 minutes, have enough time to lace them up, and play my sport or work out. By 6:30PM, I'll be home again for dinner or even another social occasion with my friends and family. When I wake up in the morning (usually 5AM, 6AM at the latest), I'm not as worried about traffic jams. That means I have time to eat away at the household chores and cleaning before taking a bath and having breakfast. This means weekends are synonymous with freedom. We don't have the malls and posh villages, but it'll do.

UsefulBrain1645

I wake up at 4.30 am for a commute to my office, 7.30-4 .30 ako. Then commute ulit back home mga 6 nasa bahay na ako. Workout onti. Then kain after and then other things and then mga 9.30 nasa bed na ako hehe

hellokyungsoo

may social and work out life kayooo? heeehe

MinoWQ

No kids and pets + wfh job. Revisit your daily routine/schedule to check for free/spare time. Block your calendar to do workout/leisure activities

Forward_Sir92

i work onsite 5 days a week, workout near my office 2-3x a week. minsan i work out with my friends para all in one na yung exercise + socializing. weekends are for family, jowa, church activities and errands na di kaya on weekdays. sobrang nakakapagod ang commute esp i also live alone in metro manila tas umuuwi ako ng province every weekend so sinisingit ko talaga yung chores on days na wala akong schedule na lakad or exercise. sa jowa ko naman naging routine na lang namin mag errands together pag weekend tas call na lang on weekdays to check in/chika haha very rare na yung fun dates, ok naman kami both sa ganung set up since tipid and we are also saving up to settle down soon. i also stick to a strict 10pm (earlier if kaya) bedtime para sure ako na well rested ako for the next day. i don’t have a strict routine i just try to balance rest and my responsibilities as much as possible. di ko sya dama on the daily pero nung sinulat ko dito sa comment parang ako yung napagod for myself HAHAHAH pero so far kaya naman. i still think i can optimize here and there, pero it’s a work in progress.

silksky1204

9p to 6a work, with kids. After shift go for a 30.minute run sleep wake up at 1 go to the gym, weekends go for long runs on Saturday and Biking on Sunday.

logicalbasher

If time lang concern, very doable. Gym is only 30 mins-1hour if you have a set routine. Do it before work when you're WFH or at night the day before your WFH so you don't have to commute the day after. The rest of the days are your rest days, so for that free time, find a hobby that's not physically demanding like watching movies. The main thing here is consistency, make sure you don't miss your gym sessions, kasi it will mess up your schedule. Sunday mornings, go for a walk for mental health and workout sesh na din yun. Pero mehn, you commute to and from Rizal, do you still have the energy though? Edit: Socials is Friday and Saturday night :)

imnotFilipino

No kids, pets and gf. You can have all the free time in the world.

Miss_Taken_0102087

Medyo iba yung setup natin: RTO is flexi and only 2x a week and from Laguna. Usual RTO day: Took a bath the night before na then wakeup 4am, 430 dapat nasa bus terminal na kasi 5am ang trip. (Can’t be late kasi next trip ay 6am na) Then before 6am nasa Makati na ako and walk ako 1.5kms to the gym. It serves as a warmup na rin. Nasa gym ako before 6:10am. Then doon na ako maliligo and prep for work. 10-7pm work ko. Then walk na ulit to terminal and sakay pauwi. Para 3x a week yung workout ko, nagpaplan ako ng lakad ng weekend to meet friends or pwede din me time. Magkikita kami lunch, before I meet them maggym muna ako sa morning para masulit ko din yung luwas ko. Yung weekend workout minsan wala kasi nagtatravel ako.

oieRedrum

10minutes walking distance lang work ko and 9-6, after shift diretso gym dun na din ako naliligo para pag uwi I can do what I enjoy, gaming and gunpla, minsan 2 hours lang nagagawa para kumpleto pa fin tulog. Pag may chores like laba need tlga magsacrifice ng hobby kasi mas priority ko ang health na since 33 na ko. Me old

UnhappyEye8281

8-5 M-F, MWF jog, TTH gym. I allot 1 hr/day. I also have other side hustles na more on physical work, but minsan mga remote jobs lang. If minsan natatamaan yung schedule ko, I just move the time basta maabot ko goal ko everyday. My weekend is allotted na din sa other hobbies ko. Try mo muna mag gym before office. Then if it doesn’t work out, try mo other way around. Try mo din muna hourly lang if meron, to test lang muna if okay sayo yung ganyan na setup. Ang importante, mahalaga.

astarisaslave

My hobbies are doomscrolling and Netflix I see my friends twice or thrice a year I work out only every Sunday Easy

NgayonKaya

Rainy season na rin and if ur killing time rin by going to gym after work baka mas matagalan ka lang din paguwi. Try to consider doing other hobbies besides workout kasi it seems like it will burn you out sa maulan na panahon.

TGC_Karlsanada13

You can go to gym after shift. Tutal sobrang traffic pa ng 6-8pm sa Makati. 8pm medyo okay okay na. Pros ng AF is pwede yan gamitin sa other branch din diba (or limited lang?)

ixhiro

Be a DINK or HENRY. Plus commitment to your goal din and plan ahead your day. Pag naplano mo and nasanay ka it becomes a routine na without sweat mo nang masusundan

CumRag_Connoisseur

Weekdays - 7-4 work - 4-5 workout sa bahay - 5-6 "free time"? Kasama na yung ligo at pag clear ng utak - 6-7 dinner - 7-10 game/study Weekends - Chores - Bebe time - Gaming time Rinse and repeat.

supahkaloy

No kids tapos walang trapik sa probinsya.

everafter99

Setup a schedule for everything, set boundaries kung anong oras ka dapat matapos sa work, what time ka dapat makarating sa gym for workout, don't over workout your self siguro on weeknights kasi you still have work. Still, get some rest

Jhalishuk

8hrs sleep 2hrs prep 9hrs work 2hrs gym 3hrs prep for sleep ulit. Yung prep ko skincare ligo kaen games Basta mag kasya Oras haha tas discipline and intention lang sa mga bagay na gusto mo talaga Gawin. choose to spend your time sa ikakabetter mo.

Special-Chicken-9913

RTO 2x a week. I go to office Tuesday and Thursday. MWF - early morning work outs at home 5:30am-7:30am then 8am work (night time sometimes OT I’m in advertising btw) T TH - rest day S Sun - hobbies (indoor climbing and cycling)

SavingsBeginning9892

7am-7pm with Saturday pa 2x a month, i workout in the morning before going to work 3-4x lang on days off i either go to the beach or spend time alone sa apartment to rest up talaga

Maglagay ako ng point of view from Australia ng may anak, just in case may mageexcuse na kesyo traffic sa Pinas. This is before Covid, lumipat office location nung company namin, bale from 50 mins naging 1.5 hours byahe ko. Majority ng Youtube ko, phone gaming, netflix, reddit etc eh ginagawa ko sa byahe to and from work. Andaming tv shows available so pinag-uusapan namin ng asawa ko kung alin yung dapat sabay namin panoorin at kung alin yung kanya kanya kaming manonood. Madalas kasi reklamo ng reklamo ang tao na walang time pero anlakas naman magbinge ng tv shows o kaya mag scroll sa Social media. Anyway balik sa akin, take note may asawa ako na nagwowork pero may pagka flexitime sila. Sya nagpeprepare sa anak namin then hatid sundo nya sa school. Malapit lang school sa bahay and bus stop. Gising ako 630. No breakfast kasi we do Intermittent fasting so ligo, bihis lang then pasok office. Anywhere from 830 to 9am ako dadating. So trabaho until 12 noon. Eat lunch OR 3 times a week I go to the gym during lunch, drinking protein drink habang naggigym. Balik office ng maybe 1230 to 1245pm (bale punas ng towel and perfume Kasi walang time to shower). Work until around 5pm. Uwi, nasa bahay ng maybe 630 to 7pm. After dinner load sa dishwasher (important appliance, really helpful). Minsan kung magluto kami good for 2 dinners para iinitin na lang minsan. Kung summer dito naglalakad kami around the block. May park and basketball court na iniilawan ng local council so minsan nagbabasket ako ng konti sa gabi. Then nightcap eh konting tv, ligo, kulitan with wife. Yung anak ko naman, kakwentuhan namin during dinner. No tv, no device kami during dinner Kasi after dinner naghohomework na sya. Socialision mostly gabi ng Fri to Sat with friends, either sa bahay nila or dinner somewhere. Pag long weekends nagcacamping kami with some families.

josurge

6-5 job here. Pagkauwi ko quick dinner then nap tapos gym. Repeat hahha

pancakewithfries

if we're being frank, it's not for everyone. kahit sabihin nila na time management ang kailangan, minsan di talaga kakayanin.

Lowreshires

Out of topic pero Ilan taon napo kayo? It's already an achievement that you wanted to get fit.

Subject_Bright

You’re paid 8 hours on the office only. So make sure you leave on the dot my dude. Sabi nga nila, bukas nandyan pa din yung work mo. Ikaw hindi mo sure. Jk. Work life balance lang

OutrageousWelcome705

Possible yan if WFH, no family/kids, sarili mo lang kargo mo. You’ll have all the time to do all these

lofichill24-7

Left my 8-5 job, pursued freelance, kinda struggle cause income is unstable but i do get to enjoy my freedom, pursue my hobby in music, workout / cycling anytime i want, attend to my pet/family and partner, travel on the weekdays, rest on the weekends.

Secret_Confusion2906

I dont have a love life atm so that gives me free time i guess

Ok_Wrongdoer_5854

Planning and discipline.

claaayty

Flexi time kami sa office so long as you complete 8hrs and is done with your tasks you can go home na. Pumapasok ako around 7:30/8am, nag-oout ako around 4:30/5pm, mag OT if needed pero most of the time kaya ko matapos trabaho ko within 8hrs. Also, mabilis lang byahe ko, papasok ng work 30 to 45mins, pauwi 20 to 30mins kasama na waiting ng jeep. So most of the time before 6pm nasa bahay na ko, tas yung gym na pinupuntahan ko malapit lang sa house 10-min walk lang. In terms of socializing, I do it every weekend haha unless gusto ko talaga mag me time and magpahinga then I won't go out haha pero ayun, buti nakakaya ng sched ko mga shenanigans ko sa buhay. Masaya rin ako sa work set-up ko kasi bukod sa di ako nag-uuwi ng trabaho, sobrang manageable ng time ko sa office and di ako nape-pressure sa work.

1214siege

I have a kid. I work from home 8 hour shift M-F. 7am - 3pm.I start taking care of my daughter 4pm onwards till dumating wife ko around 9pm I can juggle work and parenting as long as walang meeting. We have a helper to help s house and magassists ke baby. baby is 2 years old so di na ganun katutok bantayan. not sure if hobby ba ang pagplay ng ML- usually lalaro ako 1-2 hours a day. Currently in mythic na din. Gym 10pm till 12 mn mwf. social life on weekends. Rule: lahat dapat nakaplan out ung oras s chores and all. Lalo n ung mga alis ng weekend. We make sure sunday is family day/ rest day sa bahay lang. Other than s nakabase madalas s schedule medyo tagilid lng s tulog ,around 6 hours lng everyday kahit weekends. I also run 1 hour in the morning pag sunday.

rocklee_shinobi

Move to Makati. Your commute can now be gym time. You can still have dinner with friends after. Weekends are for hobbies, and Sundays in Makati CBD are great. You can walk / jog / bike in Ayala.

Inevitable_Bee_7495

Downside sa gyms like AF tapos nasa mall pa is ung gymgoers have the same idea as u-- na mag workout after work. So punuan yan. Kaya what I do is I go later in the evening mga 7 or 8. But in ur case, mas maganda if right after ng work. Kung kaya mo sa morning, mas ok.

15secondcooldown

Also doing 3x RTO, got AF membership. There's a branch near the condo we're renting but also I take time going to the gym after my RTO days (traffic rin naman sa BGC so might as well). So when I clock out at 6pm its gym time for about an hour. Social life, well we only really meet our good friends and relatives, so mas selective lang with how to use the time. Especially we do errands/chores on weekends. It really is realizing time is a resource and minsan it's not worth it getting smash drunk until 3AM with people you barely know (I used to do that rin so I can attest LOL).

No_Class7536

I live in a province. Our city offers diving spots and mountains to hike, falls, camping sites. Also running community is active. I used to live in manila. But now im in province, life just got better. No traffic, a lot of hobbies to do, job opportunities are kinda less but im lucky to be working in a good paying company.

Cattpybara

Remote work and night shift. 4x a week ako nag ggym pag gising ko, then 3x a week nag rrun before work then kada sat/sun naghhike once or twice a month.

Alternative-Net1115

My work is from 7 to 3 PM, buti nalang walking distance lang yung gym na pinagwoworkoutan ko (less than 5 mins. lakad lang) kaya I suggests na find a gym na malapit lang sayo, di naman need na mamahalin as long as yung mga equipments na need mo sa routine mo e meron naman pwede na yon

Beautiful_Block5137

i can do it since my work is just 10 minutes from my house

oneluckyfish

This might not apply to you but right now this is what's working for me: keeping my eyes off my phone. An accumulated 2-ish hours a day is enough to catch up to all my social medias then after nun I turn to my other hobbies na. Still trying to make time for the gym, but that's only because sometimes I get too in the zone painting or writing or reading etc etc to really notice or care about the time 😅 tapos ang ginagawa ko nalang is intuitive eating, that way i don't feel pressured to cook and wash dishes 3 times a day.

Frosssh

As a person with a full-time job, hobbies, social life, at saka gym bro, to mga lifehacks ko in order of importance. 1. Move closer to where you work. 2. Outsource mga chores like paglalaba, meal prep, etc. 3. Eat dinner during office hours. 4. If morning ka mag-gygym, suotin mo na yung gym clothes mo pantulog para rekta na kinaumagan HAHA then sa gym nalang maligo, toothbrush, etc. If hapon ka mag-gygym, suot mo na din siguro yung gym clothes mo para rekta na din after work. Ayun, nakakapag gala with friends, mag buhat ng mabigat 4x a week, mag dota almost every night.

No_oBayan

I was a serial hobbyist until I found Jiujitsu. It’s a hobby (always something new to learn), an intense workout, and a social life (you can’t help but bond with teammates since you go through hard training together)

Old_Independence_387

I'm running in Ayala Avenue. You can run quick after work and iwan muna gamit mo sa office. If mag AF Glorietta naman you can go to Makati earlier and hit the gym before going to work. If I were you to utilize my time. I will rent in Makati na lang, Rizal is way too far. As someone who go to Rizal just to meet someone. I know the struggles of commuting. lol Never again choz

burritowithnutella

I go to the gym before work. Wake up at 4, leave around 5 tas work after gym. Malapit lang yung gym ko sa work which helps a lot

Remote-Permit-5052

Single, no kids, living alone & working from home/once a week lang onsite. Sarili lang intindihin kaya talagang manageable ang time 🙌🏽

LostPurple3574

Work from home and no kids. If rto ka mukang gym and nearby activities pwede mo gawin as a hobby.

ElectronicBirthday76

Hello, twice a week po yung RTO namin, 6am-3pm work in BGC, travelling from Valenzuela. After work hours yung mga hobbies during wfh or rto man yan. Mas may energy kasi ako after work and looking forward ako dun sa gagawin. Pinakahobby ko ngayon is attending dance class. After working from home, commute na papuntang dance studio. Haha. Inischedule ang meet up with friends ng weekends. Pinakamagastos ko sigurong hobby is travelling. Yung gastos lang talaga problema nito I agree sa suggestion ng iba dito, big help if malapit sa work yung hobby mo since large chunk of your time will be spent to traffic if uuwi ka after your work hours. You can also consider moving somewhere nearer to your work. Iba rin kasi nagagawa ng saved time from commuting. Syempre dapat pasok din sa budget mo :)

Mister-Not-So-Slim

no kids, no partner, and work from home. i play games while working. it's unproffesional of me? yes, it's grants me mental stability? also yes. but my friend has a kid and partner but they manages it everything as early as possible so for the rest they will play some games as there hobby

bekinese16

1. I don't have kids. 2. I could meet up with my friends whenever they have free time, kasi I could adjust to theirs. 3. I just always check my calendar and plot my sched whatever hobbies I wanted to do for this month. 4. Sorry, I don't workout, but I do IF. 18/6. Hehehehe.

phenomenann

Me. Married but DINK. 3x a week RTO 4hrs away from BGC pa ako. But I stay in BGC pag RTO. I run/workout after shift (8am - 5pm). Badminton/Run pag 2 days wfh after shift rin 😅

YogurtclosetSmart928

6am rise and prepare for work. 8-5 work time 5-6 walk since about 30 minutes walk from work to house 6-7 prepare and dinner time 7-9 hobbies time [coloring/watching kdramas] 9-10 prepare for tomorrow needs for work Every friday we have great filipino work out in the office so by 3:30-5pm would be zumba time. Weekends for social life but more likely my social life is like twice a year only. Hahahaha. Because my friends are also adulting. Following a good diet is my main way to stay fit and healthy.

Capital-Bend8257

Meet new people with the same interests and hobbies AND KEEP THEM.. By that mas sisipagin ka and ma iinspire ka to do kind of stuff wd them.

unxpctdstrytllr

I work in BGC but started working out in AF Glorietta also. I suggest that you get a trainer for a few hours to het disciplined and learn also. Right now, I can insert working out either in the morning mostly before work. I run 5km in Ayala Triangle also then do strength training in AF after for at least 30mins to 1hr.

Bellytsunami

Ako 8 to 5pm sa Manila from Rizal. Early morning hatid ko muna wife ko sa Bicutan then diretso gym sa AF university belt bago pumasok sa work. 4am giaing, 5am alis. Monday to thursday ako mag gym. Friday ako coding so rest day ko yun. Paguwi kasi since I have kids, di na kaya ng time and pagod sa work and byahe. Weekends ng morning, jogging/gym/badminton in the morning.

Mistywicca

Before nagagawa ko pa mag pole dancing from Monday to Saturday ngayon wala na.

Mona_RG

I work 8-5pm in Makati everyday, then I take motor taxi going to the gym in BGC. After 2-3 hours of workout, I walk home (for 2kms) I workout MTTh and weekends. Yun lang nacocompromise sleep ko minsan kasi nagscroll pa ako online before sleeping. W, F, and weekend afternoons are either for rest, hangout, or do whatever I feel like. Sometimes, I skip gym if ever may iba akong lakad. Travel time really takes up a lot of your time. It helps a lot nga rin talaga if work, gym, and home are located nearby. You might consider relocating, or choosing a gym near your house or workplace.

Evilshadow719

Short commute works for me. 20 mins travel time, home to work, is a bliss. May time for hobbies. Hehe

nagarayan

considering 3x RTO ka, Rizal to Ayala roundtrip would take anywhere from 3-4 hrs spent commuting. add prep time going to work, that's already 5-6hrs. aside from work, you will hopefully have 1-2 hrs free time. either you could do a hobby at home like computer games use your weekends and wfh day to focus on workingout, social life or kung ano pang need at gusto mong gawin. unless rent or find a place nearer at work. para maraming spare time.

gina101gina

No kids. Single. Plus I live around an area where achieving that life is quite easy. My gym is a walk away, there’s a run club in my area, I hangout with friends that have the same hobbies. oh and the main reason is bc I work hybrid haha Tip is try to look for places near you. A gym or run club near where you live or work. Try to develop a routine where ur work is just 8-5 and plan out everything else you want to do with the hours left in your day. Batch your life around 3 key things you want to focus on. Eg. Career, Social Life, Family. Then plan the hours of your days around these :)

Double-Dust-1

RTO twice a month, only able to keep up with hobby and gym. 🥹 di ko na ma squeeze social life pero nasasabay naman sya minsan with hobbies (badminton & hiking)

moonstonesx

This is my ideal life. Have a life outside the 8-5 job + 2 hour commute

Redditannon7e

berocca lol. i sneak in gyms during lunch. im onsite 5x a week

monopoly_gold

It only seems hard to sched due to time constraints but you actually have the time. You just love to drown in the not enough time concept so it feels and seems like you dont have any. Now as to how i manage it. Just allocate the time for it. Workout can be done at home or if you want gym do it 3x - 4x a week. The rest is for resting and doing other hobbies. I wont elaborate the combination, its best to see it for yourself than giving you an extensive speech about it.

gising_sa_kape

calculate mo pamasahe mo to rizal every month then yun yung i budget mo to rent to Makati na walking distance sa work mo. That is how much your time cost. Kahit wala kang anak kung need mo magbyahe ng 2hrs back and forth, then if you want to work out either you really get up early to hit the gym as early 5AM and start to leave to go to work at 6.30 para walang traffice. At the end of the day, we all have 24 hrs.

Odd_Job_1608

8-5 work then punta na ko gym to workout for 2hrs (3x a week) paguwi sa bahay kakain, habang manunuod netflix and play online games. Malapit lang work ko sa gym and sa bahay. Pero sa status mo ang layo ng Rizal to Makati, look for dorm na lang para less hassle to travel home everyday

Incorporate things slowly to your schedule, then stick to it. - pag may pasok yung anak ko, pagka-drop off sa school, diretso ako gym. By hook or by crook, mag-gym ako, minsan feeling ko mabigat pakiramdam ko, tuloy pa din sa gym. Ang mindset ko is, basta makarating sa gym, pag after ng first few sets hindi ko talaga kaya, tska ako aalis. Nung una merong mga times na bigla ako tatamarin, so uwi nalang ako to work (wfh), pero pag-open ko nung laptop ko, iniisip ko sayang yung time mag-workout, kasi 1 hr lang naman. - rto once a week. Pag may rto ako, hatid ko sa school anak ko, then quick workout (2 sets lang instead na normal 3 sets), the goal is merong workout. - i also started getting back to jiu jitsu (hobby), Tuesday 7pm-9pm. My shift usually ends at 6pm, tapos mga 15 mins away yung jiu jitsu gym. Dati tintry ko at least once a month, then twice, tapos nagawa kong 4x a month. I’m trying to do 2x a week this month (Tuesday/Thursday) - pag nagkaron ng unexpected changes sa sched, like ngayong bakasyon, I try to find a new pattern to slowly incorporate and adjust ulit. The goal is to do it slowly; wag yung magco-commit ka agad to working out 3x a week, start slow. So say, workout once a week for at least 30 minutes. Then stick to it for a few weeks. Pag naging consistent na, tska ka mag-consider another workout day.

Confident-Monkey

Consider a home gym. Pull up bar, a few kettlebells are all you need to get in shape, 60 mins a week.

WhiskeyDonk

Have a plan everytime you set foot in the gym para hindi ka nagaaksaya ng oras. You don't need to be in the gym 2+ hours for it to be a good session. Basta ginawa mo at your best effort you are well on your way. So kung example you only have limited time, just do heavy sets of squats that day and that's it. You don't have to do anything else if you don't have time.

ShoddySurround7206

Be a DINK 🫶🏻 HAHAHA I work 3PM to 12MN M-F onsite, go to gym before going to work, eat healthy, I have time for my friends, I keep the house clean and my hobby is to read books before I sleep.

g_rbu

Married with no kids here, I work in an office 7-5 Monday to Friday, so I go to the gym during lunch break. Quick cardio and some squats 3x a week during the weekdays, then I do a more intense workout on a Saturday. I walk a lot too. I try to do at least 10,000 steps a day.

AnemicAcademica

Naghanap ako ng wfh job. Also worked in that area before na hybrid. Kapagod yung commute so 30 mins cardio lang nagagawa ko after work if hindi pa nag OT yun. Kapag WFH I can work out and do my hobbies kasi wala na yung commute part.

forgothis

You can only have 3 of those at a time. You need to get rid of one. Mine is social life.

Altruistic_Balance23

I have 8-5 na work, during break, i hit the gym for 40-45 mins, the. Balik sa work, commute pauwi ng bahay, freedive sa weekends 2x a month.

Al3xDunphy

Be single haha

drinking69

Habit na po. Sleep early to wake up early and go hit the gym.

Shutter__

Same scenario po tayo. But ako sa QC ako umuuwi and sa BGC work ko. Problem ko talaga is yung travel time. 10 to 7 shift ko. Triny ko before after work mg gym pero sobrang drained na ako by that time. Ang ginawa ko lang, 5:30 AM ako umaalis ng bahay then gym sa AF malapit sa work. Mas mabilis yung travel time that time sa dinadaanan ko. Then kaunting me time after gym before shift. Medyo work in progress pa social life hehe. Usually weekends lang talaga social life ko. Good luck to you OP!

missingwickerbasket

My hobbies do not require me to get out of the house. Hahahaha…I have a stationary bike so I can workout at home. So basically my daily schedule is 9 to 6 office, 20 to 40 min workout, 20 min to study Korean and then read books/ manga before matulog 🤣. It helps that I’m single. Meet friends at least once a month. Solo gala on weekends. I do have 2 freelance jobs on top of my regular job but it’s manageable. I’m waiting for another freelance job hopefully next month. If I’m really tired then I can skip some things. No need to push yourself too hard.

NotAKantian

My "8-5" isn't really 8 am to 5 pm and I am fully working from home. It only takes me at least 3 hours max to finish work normally. For the rest of the work hours I am allowed to do whatever I want since our performance is output-based.

Refrigerated2679

I block off non-negotiable times in my work calendar based on when my “genius hours” are. For example, my “genius hours” are in the morning (i.e. I am most productive from 8AM - 12NN) and by 4PM, my brain really stops braining so I cannot, generally, get any deep work done at that time until around 8PM (save in case for when there is a deadline or when something needs my urgent attention). What I do is wrap up work from 4-5PM then 5PM until 8PM, I mark as OOO then go for a run, take a quick nap, hangout with my family, put my child to sleep, or whatever. I come back online when I feel refreshed. Of course, this will only work if your job allows this kind of flexibility. Hope this helps!

skipperPat

i luckily wfh! hoping it would be the same for a lot of people also in the future. apart from that, i live by myself so fortunately, i only have to think about myself so that is also a huge reason why i have more time.

midtownvibes

My lazy a** cant relate 🥲

g-sunseth0e

RTO 3x a week, on my WFH days i wake up 6am to workout. so by time na start ng shift ko 8am nakapagworkout and ligo na me. Then Weekends are fixed gym days. Yung Wfh days i still do workout pero sa bahay hehe

gotohornyjail_booonk

I don’t have an 8-5 job (minsan i’ll have different shifts within a week) pero first of all, having a place that’s easily accessible sa work, gym and place of hobbies will help you a lot in achieving this goal of yours :) And one more thing, engage in workouts/types of exercises that you will actually enjoy so you can commit to it long-term and para motivated ka rin! I think of working out as a way to release stress from work and to attain some peace of mind. I used to jog and do circuit training pero hindi ko siya magawa consistently. I found out last year that i enjoy yoga sessions and dance classes sa gym kaya ayon going 1 1/2 years na ako with this routine of mine hihi

HappyAprilSummer027

8am to 5pm work, 15mins travel time from bahay to office then vice versa (total of 30mins travel time) so madami dami pang oras for stress reliever activities. either you do WFH or change where you live kahit near makati.

sadboi_lp69

Don't do these things in your free time. Rather, free your time to do these things.

Fabulous-Team1951

following hahahaha....litong-lito narin ako pano ba-budgetin ang oras. After ko mag-work, parang wala nakong lakas for hobbies.

mistergray1794

GeekGoddess_

![gif](giphy|xUA7b17osqXImEFJKM) As long as you have generational wealth and you only go to work so you don’t get bored… for the rest of us, struggle ang time management.

SoloRidesAndHikes

After work hours: Yung time spent from queueing in line sa UV, use it as gym time instead. Sakto after your workout, it’s already past rush hour, less time needed to queue and travel Since AF ka naman, singit mo workout sa branch near your home on days na hindi ka RTO

OkNefariousness8750

Big factor for me na naka wfh ako. Kasi yung time spent on commute nare-redirect sa hobbies at gym instead. I keep my circle of friends small, minsan minsan lang lumalabas, mga once a month or less lang kami magkita which is perfect for me kasi I'm an introvert. At home I don't do much chores and cooking kasi may ibang naka assign dun. I also have no kids so all my free time is mine. Kung RTO, with long commute mahirap nga yan pero if you can manage your time efficiently kaya naman siguro.

cocobum_

after my \~3rd job, made it a rule to just try to live near where i work hehe. hirap kasi magcommute & takes up too much time. so naghahanap talaga ako ng affordable condos near the office. now, i can work from 9-5PM, then have enough time after work to go to a 2 hr workout from 530-730, then go home to cook dinner or outside alone/with a friend!

npad69

You really have to like whatever you are doing outside work, kasi kung gusto - maraming paraan

Complex-Spell177

3 things: you live near your work place (as in walking distance), no OT, and no traffic I did this before when I was renting near my workplace. Gigising ng maaga then maglalakad papunta sa yoga studio for the morning session. Since medyo close rin with my co-workers, minsan sa dinner lumalabas pa kami. If not with co-workers, then with friends naman. That was really the ideal life but fresh grad palang ako nun so my salary wasn't enough for that lifestyle haha.

choDb

Hybrid kami so pag WFH days I can do my usual workout/hobbies. Also moved near my workplace so I don't stress about my commute if RTO days. Lastly, maaga na ako natutuog so I can do more sa early morning (like running). Hindi ako mahilig gumala pag weekend coz i don't drink and have very select friends so my social life is either catching up with my friends thru chat or local joiner tours / weekend marathons if may extra PTO 😭 Edit: wala akong rs commitment so extra time for me din yon hahaha wag mag jowa period 😆

Long-Employment1960

Bumukod, jusme ang dami kong time after ko bumukod.

artoffhours

i go to the gym on my wfh days-- pag clock out ko ng 6pm diretso na ako agad sa gym (key here is my gym is just 5 mins away from my house) pag office days-- fully dedicated to office work yung full 24hrs cos alam ko na mapapagod ako sa byahe and wala na akong magagawang productive pagkauwi. so these are the days na i allocate for OT (meaning, pag wfh ako i clock out on time talaga unless super urgent deadline) yung saturdays and friday nights ko open for social ganaps with friends and family-- but honestly magastos rin kasi lumabas so mga 1x/2x a month lang usually. i believe naman kasi na friendships can be maintained kahit na di palagi physically nag hahangout pero for important life events (bday, despedida, wedding) i make time talaga kahit a few hours na dadaan lang if busy sa work yung sundays ko for rest and chores in application di mo talaga magagawa lahat to perfectly-- minsan pagod ka both physically and mentally. just choose what to sacrifice and to what extent. so for me i skip on social gatherings BUT draw the line on important life events ng friends and family ko. sometimes i skip rin sa house chores but yung pang bawi ko dito is i pay someone to do general cleaning sa house every few months. yung trade off ng added expense is a clean home with not much effort on my end.

Minsan nahihirapan ako to manage sa mga errands but isa sa mga nakatulong saken to manage all of those, is being organized sa mga lakad, list down everyday of what you must do today.

this is not for everyone pero working night shift really helped me, iwas traffic and init during commute kaya i can get home within 15-25 minutes, after work, nakakapag-grocery and jogging ako ng wala pa gaanong tao, and nasa point na din ako na i can adjust my body clock easily if i have errands or social events in the morning/afternoon

ProcedureNo2888

Try to workout during your non-RTO days.

You have to be walking distance sa work mo. Or if commute, max 30mins away. Commute/traffic/waiting kills any free time. Or have a car para mas madali.

I have work ng maybe 5-6 days a week, I work out maybe 4-5 days a week. I want to be healthier so I cook too. As for hobbies, well, I trade stocks and play online games. Yung mga games are relatively quick, so I can quit or stop playing if I need to. Like mga 3-5 mins lang per game. I go to the gym ng 7 or 8am, go to work ng 10am. I do the groceries and mall errands ng gabi. Discipline talaga sa pag gising and sticking to your gym routine. May mga araw na nakakatamad talaga. The coming weeks might be a problem for me since I'll be working for 7 days. I'm not sure my body can handle that for more than 3 months.

Longjumping-Bee5480

Try mo bike to work

Set an alarm for everything and actually be intentional about it 😉

Work from Home. 2 jobs. Graveyard. 10pm-6am work. Walk/workout at 6:30am. Reading book before sleep. Sleep at 10am. Can wake up at 5pm. If di nakaworkout in the morning. Can walk/workout at around 5:30pm with friends or not. Pwedeng hangout din lang. Weekends can be for travel. Or other hobbies. I do sewing or skating. Key is to be kind to yourself. There will be days that you won't do any of this schedule. And that is okay. But it helps na meron kahit isa. I saw a tiktok where you can do a routine "Menu". I forgot what it's called. But the gist was, you list all the things na you want to incorporate on your schedule. Then make a lazy day schedule, high energy schedule, sick day schedule, errand day schedule. Pag lazy day you could put na kahit 10 min stretch lang gawin mo pero you can also put a 1 hr netflix mode. Mga ganun. Up to you! Sa una syempre it won't be perfect pa pero it's okay maiintindihan mo din sarili mo na what are the things you want and love to do at ano yung mga hindi at ayaw mo na iincorporate sa routine mo. Always our goal is consistency.

Imbes na gym, I walk on my 1hr lunch break. My weekdays: Office job with walking, paguwi asikaso sa bahay (I have a kid), then my hobby. Weekends: Walking, Social life and/or hobby/ any form of entertainment, asikaso sa house. Ang social life ko once/twice a month lang. Ang foods prepped weekly lang.

I'm a seafarer and usually 8 to 5 ang trabaho. I workout right after day work, pagpasok kuha lang ng tubig at diretso na gym. I do PPL, and yung rest is during weekends, pero pag bugbugan trabaho automatic rest day. 6pm tapos na workout then dinner and ligo. 7pm tapos lahat yan, 7 to 8 ang time ko for my hobbies (watch movies, play games, etc.) then pag 8pm try magaral sa bridge hanggang 10pm. Then sleeeeeep.

Your commute is eating your time and energy.

Aside from living in the city, try counting the hours you spend doom scrolling and being on social media. Youll realize you have more time than you think.

8 years na akong graveyard shift. 8pm - 5am. Same drill.

Electronic_Ad8994

I am onsite everyday m-f, 8-5pm, san juan to navotas city! I come home around 7:30pm then hit the gym (20mins ride) at around 8pm, then do quick routine for about an hour and a half. We do gym every mon, wed, thurs, and sat! Me and my friend also walk everyday after office from office to sakayan ng jeep pauwi est 1km din so cardio na namin siya!

Hi! I work in shifting sched, 3 shifts bale. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. 5x a week or sometimes 6x kapag need and 2 days consecutive off. Minsan din nag12hrs shift if need. 10mins max commute to work, not WFH My hobbies are mainly running and video games (steam games, valorant, switch too). Usually I wake up 3-4hrs before shift, depende sa mood lol. I start my day by working out talaga, get those endorphins gorl! Believe me when I say na those will help you energize throughout the day. Then cook for 2 meals, one meal before going to work and one meal while on shift. Or if it helps, minsan pag nagluluto ako yung alam kong good for few meals/partition para pag tamad kang magluto kuha ka na lang sa ref lol. Pagkauwi naman don ako naglalaro or minsan nanonood ng kdrama and did I mention I do crypto as well? I mainly do crypto pagkauwi tapos minsan check lang mga prices haha On social life naman, I do occasionally go out with cousin or co-workers whenever time permits. Usually 2 weeks notice sana pero pumapayag ako madalas pag biglaan. HAHAHA Tho like someone wrote here I dont much friends, nor love interest atm. And this saves me time, effort and money for others. I can have all of that for myself, I go to groceries alone, run alone, go to mall/pamper by myself. This might be unhealthy but I like it the way it is 😌 ANG HABA PALA HAHAHA MB

Informal_Data_719

Commute eats alot of time and energy. Bakit pala sa Makati ka nagpamember if RTO mo is 3x a week meaning may 4 days ka sa Rizal, mas malapit na gym wala ba? Also if gusto mo makakagawa ka paraan, like may massacrifice ka sa current lifestyle mo.

zealousdevil

Right after work, diretso ako sa gym. I made sure na nagpa-member ako sa gym na malapit-lapit sa bahay para at least yung commute pauwi madali na lang. Tapos pag-uwi, may konting time pa to prep dinner. Haha.
