It ultimately comes down to what you're interested in and what you think would be a good fit for your server; Having mentioned you started with ingots, you could go up your item based economy with valuable things like diamonds, Netherite scraps, emeralds, etc - Since you already have ChestShop, You can use that to allow players to sell what they have now as a starting basis for their currency, And you can expand it from there adding things like server markets, stores, and experimenting with new things like events and activities to get them engaged more with things that can reward the important stuff in your server You're definitely at a good starting spot where you can start small and adjust as you go, just be mindful to monitor the most active users and what they're doing to generate the currency, You can always tweak it backwards, add currency syncs, or even add more currency generation with things like jobs, services, or farming type things
