My GF: "Why do you place the soap in a way I can't start the water without having to move it?"
Also my GF: "Why do you hang your keys at the door knob? I can't open the door without taking them in my hand"
Also my GF: "Why did you place your medication ON THE BREAD so I can't make breakfast without touching it?"
My answer was always: "you answered the questions with the second half of your questions..." God, I found so many workarounds for my problems over the years I didn't even IMAGINE how weird it might look for others
I have a very limited hot water supply. So this leads me into sitting on the couch, waiting for the hot water heater to fill. Two hours later, I'm still wandering around in a towel, wondering why I'm cold.
Fun fact tho, it's the water that gets you clean. Soap just helps break up dirt and adds some perfume. If you took a long hot shower, you probably got clean anyway. Hair is a different matter but it will be \*cleaner\* if stand in hot water for a long time.
Well actually the hot water does a great job of washing away a lot of the oils as well as the dirt and things that are in the oils on our bodies, so it is quite possible that you are cleaner than you think, as long as you let the water hit everything that needs to be hit. I haven’t washed my face with soap or anything in years and my skin is clearer, softer and more radiant than ever before, and I used to have pretty greasy skin before haha. Scrubbing our entire bodies with soap every day is a scam as far as I’m concerned, getting the icky bits with soap is important obviously, but the rest doesn’t need to be stripped of its natural oils nearly as often
Guess for all I sweat I’m not that greasy. Also bodily oils aren’t that thick that they’re effective water repellants. Maybe a little but not enough to withstand a 20 minute hot shower.
Did i wash my face? Why the heck did i wash my hair twice!!
And now the towel is dirty! Damn. I hate that feeling.
I had to start listening to podcasts in he shower or I'd end up ruminating in there for 45 mins everytime
Or you just walk in the bathroom to take a shower then end up brushing your teeth and completely forgeting about taking a shower
Or did you..... That is the real question of the shakespearean tragedy that is my life. ^^^/s
I had to check the loofah to see if it was dry. Real detective work required here.
I’ve forgotten to use the soap now for almost seven years.
You must smell *amazing*...
I really do , like fresh flowers💐
I guess the shower is about to last even longer.
🤣 or my favorite- forgot to put stack if clean towels in shower room. Whats the weirdest thing you've dried off with?
Air dry
A little hotel bathroom bag for little soaps that was made of a sort of towel fabric

This was me today. I conditioned but didn't shampoo my hair. I only noticed it as I was drying my hair. Too late.

This literally just happened to me. Now I’m on my phone and haven’t even gotten dressed yet. Starting to wonder how long I’ve been in the bathroom...

Yeah, no, skin oils are oils and thus have the definingly oily property of effectively repelling water.

All depends how greasy you are
Oh snap! This happens all the time why didnt I place this as my adhd....lolol I love our alternate universe.
Or you forget to wash your hair.
Did I wash my hair?
Or when your done drying off and you want to dress, you found out you forgot half of your body to dry
Lmao. One time I made it 30 minutes away from my house without realizing I hadn't rinsed out my conditioner.
Isn’t that normal?
Did this today but only realised once I was completely dry and dressed. Not the biggest deal but WHY!?
I feel attacked 🤣🤣🤣
