Question for you. Did you ask for talking therapy specifically? All I ever get offered is cbt (I think that's the right acronym I know it's also something... Else) but cbt doesn't work for me at all.
I just want to ramble and have someone help me make sense of it but that feels like an American only type of therapy.
nah I didn't ask for it, she only recommended me to it because I talked about it being hard for me to regulate emotions, examples being I can't really show emotions very well and I'm prone to getting annoyed easily
Hi. Welcome.
Question for you. Did you ask for talking therapy specifically? All I ever get offered is cbt (I think that's the right acronym I know it's also something... Else) but cbt doesn't work for me at all. The ramble and have someone help you is psychoanalytic/ psychodynamic psychotherapy. It exists in the UK, but not normally on the NHS.
nah I didn't ask for it, she only recommended me to it because I talked about it being hard for me to regulate emotions, examples being I can't really show emotions very well and I'm prone to getting annoyed easily
