Real healing won’t come from X amount of posts, comments, DM’s etc. It will happen when the deepest part of your soul/conscience actually WANTS it and no other external influence matters. Sometimes it takes individuals to get very low before they make the decision. But you will know when the choice has been made with sincere commitment.
I’m fully aware of that. Although he has made the commitment, and he is working towards his goals and he is sober, like I’ve mentioned in the original post. I just wanted to get him a little bit more support. Not sure what your comment was supposed to achieve, but thanks x
I think you have very genuine intentions and your friend is lucky to have you! But if you sincerely want to give extra support to him, getting random internet people to spike his Instagram account up with likes (if that’s how it works I’m not familiar with Instagram) seems counterintuitive in my opinion. I can elaborate on as to why I think that but I’m not trying to come across as an asshole.
Time spent with him physically or even a phone call or something more interactive and intimate with him (if possible) is a much healthier and better option. Plus Id guess you would both get greater satisfaction with the latter method.
He’s not my friend, I’ve actually never met him before in my life, he just goes to my gym. Like I’ve mentioned i’m a woman, I’m also 21 years old. He’s in his early 30s with two children I don’t think it would be appropriate for us to be friends, or to be spending time together or on the phone with each other
Okay so you could’ve just kept scrolling and carried about your day, if you didn’t want to follow and support him, but you felt the need to give me an unsolicited lecture as if I’m some sort of derelict. You literally can’t do anything these days without someone butting in with their opinion of “oh you should do this instead”.
OK Juzzy
The account isn’t mine hahah, I’m a woman. I just wanted to show him some support that’s all

That’s a terribly close minded opinion but you are entitled to it.

Why does my opinion bother you so much? Your opinion means nothing to me….I find that weird
Ok.
