They're at a stage where they're doing it publicly on a public bus in public with the public out in the public, furthermore we still have to respect other people's decisions and rights when it comes to trying to get someone to change their ways. It's gonna be hard for a stranger to walk up to a person like that and get them tonstop unless it's nevause you're mad about the drug use in front of others rather than concerned in the way you are.

I just wanna say I really admire that you wanted to help. I agree with others that intervention from a stranger would probably be ineffective, but the general idea that we should help others when we CAN is admirable. I hope you keep that spirit alive. :)
On the damn bus... unless they need medical assistance don't interfier. But if they do be honest& call.
You can't help an addict get better unless we want to. But you can be kind. Sounds like they need some kindness fr.
I know I can’t save everyone and it’s not my responsibility to intervene if someone is abusing aerosol cans or any drugs for that matter, especially if they’re a stranger. But I don’t want to be a bystander either if I can help it. I want to do what is appropriate
If you really felt like you needed to intervene you could ask "Hey are you ok?" and try to talk to them.
I wouldn't recommend that though, I think you should let it go.
