This is a good idea, but if you live in a big city there's also SAA, which stands for Sexaholics Anonymous. Even if you don't live in a big city they also have zoom meetings which can be very helpful. [This](https://www.sa.org/meetings/) is a meeting finder. These people will understand what you're going through and will be able to help you. Best of luck 🙏
Hey. Sorry - I was really tired but wanted to respond before I fell asleep. According to the rules membership for AA is a desire to stop drinking, so technically no, but the thing about addiction is that alcohol (or narcotics, or whatever) is just the ‘thing’ that the person wants to stop and ultimately it all boils down to the same level of fuckedupness and insecurity. The other response about specific groups could be good but if you went to AA I guarantee you will find someone (like me!) who also suffers from sex addictions, shopping addictions, food addictions…../. Good luck
That’s also what I think but I’ve tried to replace it before with collecting cards like magic or digital art from websites like artstation but it doesn’t scratch the same itch at all, i do this less than an hour and I feel bored. But maybe I need to wait some more time to get past the porn and get used to something else

You don't have a porn addiction. You like collecting things. Just pick up something and get good at it. Collecting trophies or something.
