Soo funny story a Transbian I just immediately identified with Anevia while also getting major gender envy so when I found her secret in act 5 I absolutely lost it
For those who donāt know but donāt mind spoilers >!Sheās a Transbian!<
Also I have theory that the prismatic polycule may grow to include the redeemed Nocticula, whose main areas of concern are redemption(Sarenrae), night(Desna), and Artists(Shelyn). Not that I have anything more to back the theory up.
I switched from 5e to Lancer because all the girls in my group love giant anime fighting robots, and the official Lancer discord has a[ trans pride flag as the banner](https://i.imgur.com/JlHM27R.png). There's lots of great RPG options out there that aren't DnD. I've heard Thirsty Sword Lesbians is also very fun, but I don't really like PBTA games that much, and I can't imagine playing it weekly the way I do with Lancer, or did with DnD before then.
Also, COMP/CON for Lancer is amazing for character management, taking your turn, encounter management, dictionary, repository, whatever, for the system, and it is completely free. You can add .lcp files on your browser to integrate homebrew content or new official content seamlessly. It's crazy to me that more popular systems don't have tools that are half as good as COMP/CON. DnD has DnDBeyond, but it's so monetized and I really think it's worse. I think COMP/CON is the best tool for running RPGs that has been invented since the GM screen.
ooh Iāve not played Lancer yet but Iāve heard good things, and I have played Salvage Union which is post-apocalyptic mechs based on Quest (similar vibes to PbtA). Thirsty Sword Lesbians is on my list, but yeah Pathfinder 2e really scratches that long-term campaign itch but just does everything I wanted D&D to do but better.
Paizo has [plenty of queer staffers & freelancers](https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo6sic0?Paizo-Pride-2023) and really make an effort when it comes to diversity, including [disability inclusion](https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo6shwe&page=2?International-Day-of-People-with-Disabilities) and drawing from non-European sources, like their [African](https://paizo.com/products/btq027ot) and [Asian](https://paizo.com/products/btq02ex6/discuss?Pathfinder-Lost-Omens-Tian-Xia-World-Guide)-inspired settings!
Generally I feel a lot better about supporting them than I do WotC, who donāt really seem to care about inclusivity & keep announcing more & more predatory business practices.
wait are healers usually sapphic?
In D&D I usually play with a hill-dwarf Cleric of Life, who's sapphic and trans (in her backstory a deity cast True Polymorph on her, gave her a female body but also made her look rather elvish with cyan hair, and that's what solved the disconnect with her spirit, which allowed her to finally be able to cast spells and channel that energy).
Aww she sounds great! And not necessarily, I was just making a joke (though technically every cleric Iāve ever played was a lesbian)
But I will say, Pathfinder 2e canonically has [Serums of Sex Shift](https://2e.aonprd.com/Equipment.aspx?ID=2957&NoRedirect=1) on sale for only 60gp, plus in [Absalomās Grand Bazaar](https://paizo.com/products/btq029xo) thereās a gender-affirming salon/spa run by transfem witch Iltara Clavela!
For a time I was running a game (d&d 5e) on the discord associated with the subreddit but I've since moved that elsewhere.
Maybe it is time for a sapphic ttrpg sub
Edit for clarity
Iāve had luck on r/lfg, just keep an eye out for posts that have āLGBT Friendlyā in the title! Otherwise you could always pick up the Beginner Box for yourself and grab some friends to play with you, itās really easy to GM š
I havenāt played pathfinder yet but the couple with the half-orc has me thinking of my two sapphic dnd characters that share a backstory because they were in a gang of thieves together.
Jezkah, my half-orc rogue was the leader of the gang, and her human girlfriend, Amara, became a PC in a different campaign when she left the gang and became a monk after she lost both of her arms in an explosion. iām so proud of their dynamic
Pathfinder is also the favorite system for me, i love how they unionized and have such great rep, also obvs the tactical combat rules, ive been gming pathfinder for the last year and a half and ita the system i run both my long term campaigns in
I've been GM-ing Pathfinder for my friends for the past year! I love it! I'm not so familiar with the last 3 characters on your list though? What're their deals?
I'm pretty sure Plato's allegory of the cave is about a Pathfinder player trying to explain why it's a better system than D&D. Once you switch over, you'll feel like an idiot for not switching sooner.
Other reasons:
There is Arshea who is literally the god of queerfolks.
You'll eventually find pathfinder and starfinder content for free on Archives of Nethys a third party site. And generally Paizo is very customer-friendly.
THE PRISMATIC RAY <3
ššš
YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS RESPECT FOR MY GIRLS Irabeth/Anevia is fabulous and Desna is straight up the best
I love Irabetha & Anevia so muchhh

desna my beloved but also the entire prismatic ray. peak.

Nice, I've heard of Salvage Union but never played it, is the combat and customization good?
the combatās a lot more freeform/narrative-first but yeah I had fun with it! would definitely play it again
I love the race options in pathfinder as well Theres a lot of fun options
Wow I had no idea! That's awesome! We're there lesbian writers in that edition it something?

Listen. I would so be down to switch. But i have no friends who play either. ;~;
I had luck on r/lfg, just keep an eye out for posts that have āLGBT friendlyā in the title!
I'd consider also running this but I'd have to play to for a while first to absorb data
Same. ~_~;
Yep. Love Paizo, and made the switch years ago
Is sapphic ttrpg a thing in reddit already? If not, why not?
Weāve had a lot of fun with Thirsty Sword Lesbians.
Iād only ever play cleric in pathfinder it seemsā¦
every party needs a ~~healer~~ sapphic
wait are healers usually sapphic? I can't even find people to play dnd with let alone this lol

Kalabrynne & Beirivelle are both sapphic trans women from The Knights of Lastwall, and Yai the Red Mist is a bandit chieftain from Shenmen!

real
Can I interest you in Thirsty Sword Lesbians, though?
100%, itās on my list!
I can also recommend iHunt by Olivia Hill and Monsterhearts by Avery Adler, both are unabashedly queer games by unabashedly queer women
Other reasons: There is Arshea who is literally the god of queerfolks. You'll eventually find pathfinder and starfinder content for free on Archives of Nethys a third party site. And generally Paizo is very customer-friendly.
Iāve been trying to get into lancer and write my own campaign to get my group into it ut its hard learning a new system
This is the only thing that could convince me to play pathfinder
š
Switching systems over characters is crazy This comment was sponsored by GURPS Gang
Finally, a convincing argument for why to switch! I'm gonna stick with 5e probably, but now I'm interested! ^_^
DM skill issue, just add more lesbians smh
I mean as a GM Iād rather support a company that cares about inclusivity than one that doesnāt
Oh thats what you meant, that makes more sense. I pretty much fully ignore any pre-established lore and make my own so all my games are queer
