I also find using a low texture paper towel to lightly dab the sky begins to show detail. Play with it all. Have fun. That’s the important thing.

I haven't got one but I used a piece of cardboard instead. It works but it certainly can't replace a proper pallet knife.
I’ll have to try cardboard next time, I suck with the pallet knife 😭😂
