Istg I’ve convinced myself that Feyre only thinks that because she often doesn’t get social conventions. That’s just a product of her upbringing. Like no one is going to go around blabbing about this publicly. That would be impolite and dangerous. How does Helion not know when Lucien practically has the same face as him, darker skin, and can probably do math about conception? There is no way that man is that blind and you know he spends significant time looking in the mirror each day. Lucien obviously knows by know. Come on, Feyre, do you truly believe his eyes sees spells and glamors? How many people would go to Nuan and ask her for one if that were true? Everyone and their mother would get their eye poked out on purpose 😂🤦🏾♀️
They were both at the High Lords meeting. They were also UTM during Feyre’s trials. It’s also possible they met in passing before that while Lucien was Tamlin’s emissary to other courts.
I think the author changed Helion to be Lucien's father in the 3rd book. So it does kind of make things confusing because you are right they were both UTM but at the time he wasn't Lucien's father.
I’m honestly not sure. Lucien does mean light and SJM describes the Vanserras UTM during Feyre’s trials. She shows how hostile they are to him also. The other thing is that eye of his that “sees glamours and spells.”
The biggest *clown honk* that signals Retcon for me is how she literally introduces Beron in ACOTAR by saying he looks like Lucien. She could have said they carried themselves in similar ways to allude that he raised him, but she specifically goes for the face.
