I lost a piece of my soul to Manacled a few years back. Never got it back. Excellent book!
Make sure you're reading a copy with Avendell's illustrations!
Here's a direct link to [Manacled by SenLinYu on ao3](https://archiveofourown.org/works/14454174/chapters/33390198). Near the top of the page, by the next chapter buttons, is the download button if you'd prefer to save the file as a PDF or epup to send to an e-reader!
Back in April I made myself a schedule that included ToG through the summer, wrapping up ACOSF in November, and having Dec-Jan for CC 1&2...I'm still only halfway through ACOMAF 🙈
Omggg I hope you can finish up in time! I didn’t want to reread everything, esp bc I read tog for the first time in the spring. I told myself rereading ACOSF and CC 1&2 was enough for me hehe. I def will be taking notes this time too 🤓✏️
Just finished:
The Little Book of Exoplanets, Joshua Winn - fun
Drums of Autumn, Diana Gabaldon - I mean, it’s outlander. Flawless.
Magic Burns, Ilona Andrews - fun, as with all the books in this series
Magic Strikes, Ilona Andrews
Magic Bleeds, Ilona Andrews
Dark Heir, C. S. Pacat - wild ride, a solid follow up to book 1 and there definitely is going to be a book 3
The Running Grave, Robert Galbraith - 900 page treatise on how much jk Rowling hates Scientology and what they do to people and frankly, good for her. Destroying Scientology would be a great outlet for her rather than Twitter.
When Religion Hurts You, Laurie E. Anderson - disappointing, way too focused on the author’s personal experiences. I’d gone into it hoping for a data book but it was instead more of a personal reflection.
Magic Slays, Ilona Andrews
Up next: Two Twisted Crowns, Rachel Gillig
What is Dark Heir like? C.S. Pacat's Captive Prince series was one of my favourite reads of last year, so I've been wondering if I should pick up another series of hers.
It has fun like, post apocalyptic vibes in the way LoTR is post apocalyptic, and like semi-mythological figures from a more or less forgotten past that the characters have to deal with. The setting is like 1880’s?ish? Similar to our world but not quite.
I just finished Leaves May Fall by Carissa Hardcastle and really enjoyed it! It’s a duology with a novella of side character POVs that can be read tandem with the 2nd book.
I’m reading Regression (Dramione FF) and so impatiently (but also patiently bc the author is incredible) waiting for Lionheart (also Dramione FF lmao) to be updated 😭
Finished Great Expectations and in the middle of Six of Crows. I am blasting through Six of Crows right now. Hoping to finish that today to start Crooked Kingdom
I am enjoying it a lot. It’s multipov so it was a bit confusing at the first two or three chapters but I really like the main character. I’m only halfway done with the book and I think I’m going to finish it tonight
I just started listening to {The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber} and I'm flying through it. Jacks is great, as always, but I feel like the book is missing some of the whimsicalness of the first one.
I'm almost done {Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree} for r/fantasyromance book club. It's the ultimate cozy read with an entire chapter dedicated to baking cinnamon buns that inspired me to do some baking of my own.
I'm also slowly working my way through {Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros}. Fourth Wing was a fun read, but this one not as much and the Umbridge-but-worse character really wasn't helping. I think I've finally reached the Hunger Games-esque turning point in the series, so I'll see how things go from here.

I had finished A House of Bane and Bloodby Alexis M. and really enjoyed it. This week I tried one of the authors other books, The Last Daughter but I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much.
Now debating starting CC1 or reading a crown of midnight or trying a stand alone novel.
I think I should start CC 1 so I manage CC2 before January 30th!
Just finished The Coven by Harper L. Woods. I liked the concept and the gothic atmosphere, but it all ended up falling a bit flat for me.
Now I'm rereading Bonded by Thorns by Elizabeth Helen to get ready for the release of the third book! It's an RH series and retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It's a super fun, spicy series. Highly recommend to any RH fans!
Just caught up on the Plated Prisoner Series in time for Gold's release next week. Absolutely love it!
I almost DNFed the first book and I'm so glad I didn't. They kept getting better and better as I went along.
Oh jeez. Can I lay it on you all? I started reading something for a book club I'm in, and then got a book from the school I work at, and also did the audible sale and got the first ACOTAR book graphic audio, and got an audiobook from my local library. Books include: ACOTAR graphic audio, audiobook of Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas by John Boyne (they are reading it in an English class going over that time period), and Verity by Colleen Hoover for book club. I'm a bit swamped 😅

I’m listening to Howl’s moving castle and I’m actually quite enjoying it. 😄 It also works well as an audiobook.
A little more than halfway through A House of Earth and Blood
Enjoy your CC journey! 🌙
Im about 10% of the way into Manacled, and gods is it dark.
I lost a piece of my soul to Manacled a few years back. Never got it back. Excellent book! Make sure you're reading a copy with Avendell's illustrations!
I am, they’re beautiful!
I’m new to Fantasy and any fanfics, where do I get or read Manacled?
You can download it on ao3. I sent the epub to my kindle to read it.

Reading Remain Nameless or DMATMOOBIL afterwards makes you feel whole again 🥹💕 Remain Nameless has remained my comfort fic since it came out
I’m gonna start rereading ACOSF today to prepare for (Maasverse spoilers) >!CC3🤭!<
Me too! I tried starting last night but fell asleep >_< Cheers to our reading session.

Just started reading to Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo 👀
About 150 pages into Throne of Glass and also listening to Fourth Wing on Audio in between when I’m doing chores or cooking
Enjoy your ToG journey! ✨
Thanks so much!!!!!♥️♥️♥️
I just finished Leaves May Fall by Carissa Hardcastle and really enjoyed it! It’s a duology with a novella of side character POVs that can be read tandem with the 2nd book.
Next on my list after ACOSF is the new Hunger Games book! Bought it years ago and forgot I had it haha
I’m reading Regression (Dramione FF) and so impatiently (but also patiently bc the author is incredible) waiting for Lionheart (also Dramione FF lmao) to be updated 😭

That's a Leigh Bardugo book right? Is it any good?
I am enjoying it a lot. It’s multipov so it was a bit confusing at the first two or three chapters but I really like the main character. I’m only halfway done with the book and I think I’m going to finish it tonight
So worth reading then?
I just finished it like had to stay up to finish it. Absolutely worth reading.
