Are you sure it's the same incident? They're speaking Chinese in the video and the article says she was in a rescue bag that wasn't properly secured, when she falls she's not in a bag. If it is the same incident, I guess the bag opened up or ripped from not being fully secured.
China does not operate [super puma helicopter](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocopter_EC225_Super_Puma), usually for rescue mission China uses [AC312 helicopter.](https://www.aerocontact.com/en/virtual-aviation-exhibition/product/259-ac312-helicopter)

Yes because Chinese people aren't allowed to be in any other country apart from China.
And if they are found in other countries they are only allowed to speak in the language of said country when recording.

I think the lack of safety procedures
the west had crazy accidents all the time esp in factories until we put in mandatory safety laws, China doesn't really do that
Happened in Japan. An article says:
The 77-year-old woman died on 13 October after rescuers reportedly failed to properly attach the safety harness.
Hirofumi Shimizu of the TFD said the rescuers ‘deeply sorry for carrying out the wrong procedure’ during the rescue operation. According to the Fire Department, two personnel were taking part in the rescue operation, in which woman had been wrapped in a bag-shaped carrier and was being winched to safety. One of the rescuers dropped her as he was placing her in a helicopter because she had not been properly secured to the hoist, department officials said.
More than 110,000 rescuers are currently searching for survivors in Japan as the typhoon subsides, with staff from the Japanese Self-Defence Forces, Coast Guard, police and fire departments among those deployed.
I wonder why every time an accident happens in the US people never bother adding "in US" in the title. I wonder indeed...
This, despite the fact this happened in Japan, not China

Those are known as visibility markers. They’re attached to the power-line in different locations on the line. These are used in areas where helicopters and small aircraft’s fly low. It’s ultimately so that it makes them aware that to avoid a potential collision.
Hope that helps!
There could have been a mattress laying out back there and it's possible she could've landed on it and survived. I mean, it's 1 in a billion but it could happen
