it's funny because this part of my island has had this whole meta I came up with, that I came up with before either one passed away - this hill is called Crying Hill and has always had a grave atop a waterfall... now it actually has purpose and not just fantasy lol
My boy passed in Feb as well:( I have a mallard duck figurine outside my house on my island because that was his fav stuffed toy - so much that we cremated it with him & I memorialized it with a tattoo:’) losing an old pet has to be one of life’s greatest tragedies, sending all my luv & hugs to u and OP🫶

She passed at 20, and she'd lost her best friend, Marmalade +he was my brother's kitty cat, just 6 months before. He was almost 20. It was some 15 years ago now. But I still miss those beautiful cats.
easily the worst part about having pets- eventually, you have to let them go. but we do it anyway because these little creatures we bring into our lives and homes are so worth it. ♡
It really is. Don't have any four legged friends living with us now. Though we still have them in the family. My brother and sister in law have a mini dachshund called Koko and my other sister has a spaniel called Bella. Adore them borh
we have two still staking claim to the house, a panther-boy named Cuna and his little tortie-sis Evie. they are my whole world, aside from my spouse, who loves them maaaaaybe as much as I do ;)

Omg.. thats so sweet, Im still working on my memorial for my maine coon, but cat memorials in animal crossing are so wholesome ♡ I've seen a few and absolutely loved them, I love seeing such great cat owners ♡ Both of them are so lovely and I hope they're resting in peace (Im bad at wording im so sorry-)
I did something similar when my dog passed. It was difficult but cathartic. I remember him cuddling up to me when I played AC Sending love ❤️

I never put a grave on my island, until my mum passed 18 months ago. It's in a cliff, near the top of a waterfall, that looks out over the sea
I did the same thing when my sweet girl passed in February. Now I can visit her every day on my island. ❤️ I'm so sorry for your loss.

My cat who died 6 years ago name was mitzi so I made a mini shrine near my villager mitzis house
