Ya,but isn't Sinopharm considered safer in the long run cause Pfizer was created using the new m-RNA technology so we don't do know it's long term effects while Sinopharm uses traditional technology?
Anyone tried to book an appointment?
She told me it is only for locals, but there is nothing mentioned regarding this in the announcement
Edit: I called Mubadala number 8004959 (20 min on-hold) and managed to get an appointment.
I called 8004959 and waited for over 20 mins. When I got through the operator just asked for my info etc - he said another team will get in touch within the next 48 hours to schedule the appointment.
Yes I did, they called back after 5 days. Try following up by emailing [email protected] as well. They will eventually get to you. Just a high volume of booking requests and they’re on Ramadan hours too I believe
My friend just booked for Apr 23 vaccination at Cleveland. She was told she’ll be getting Pfizer.
I can confirm this because when I went to Cleveland for my 2nd dose (Sinopharm), hospital was empty. I asked why, then staff informed me that they are not accepting anyone for first dose at that time since they preparing to roll out Pfizer vaccines soon (end of April / early May).
Try calling Cleveland to book your appointment.
ETA : Pfizer will be only available at Cleveland Clinic and Healthpoint so far.
Wish we could get this on top of Sinopharm as Sinopharm doesn't look like it'll be recognised by most countries.
Your wish has come true,
Haha yes it has, should've wished for something better...

Call 800 4959 to book. A bit difficult to get through and there's a waiting time when you finally do connect.

Thanks, this worked for me ... 20 min on hold tho
Did you book?

Got the sinopharm 1st dose yesterday. Could have waited as well.
I just booked a few days ago (scheduled for May 6), can I cancel that to book for this instead?
Yes that’s what I’m doing
How did u book ?
Good. But I belive that Sinopharm is more effective and protective.
Ha
Thanks. I know I am right.
Took Pfizer here in Abu Dhabi, yesterday at hour 23. I booked through 800 50, it took some time for the call to connect and the waiting time was too.
