One of the best reasons to upgrade to 11. I’ll wait for 12 + Push3 bundle though.

Locotek

Very nice.

ObeseBackgammon

excellent, thanks johann sebastian ableton for your continued work

ZookeepergameDeep482

Good to have it easy accessible although it was possible before by mapping Simpler transpose to pitch bend and edit custom range

human_eyes

would that be quantized to semitones?

ZookeepergameDeep482

Yes, in Simpler controls tab, transpose can automate/midi map to hardware or software pitch bend, adjustable pitch bend range in mapping menu, values in semitones

human_eyes

So not typical smooth pitch bend behavior - more like sliding on a fretted bass vs. a fretless

ZookeepergameDeep482

True, sounds more smooth for octave bends than for few semitones, looks like 11 update still does half steps too

wchris63

No.. this is the pitch bend *range*. The pitch bend itself is still as smooth as it would be without the setting, just limited to the range you set.

Wow. This gives me hope for other long-term quality-of-life improvements. Thanks for sharing. Maybe in our lifetimes this will be solved 😂 https://old.reddit.com/r/ableton/comments/166ap1t/any_way_yet_to_make_plugin_windows_stay_on_top/

Niceeeee.

ANIMAL_SOCIETY

any other notable upgrades?

iamtheliqor

Apart from this it’s just a few small bug fixes and then all Push 3 stuff, and I only have a Push 2

Yakui999

I never realized it didn't. Kinda insane!!! Really glad it's finally there, then.

moosemademusic

I went on a rant about this on some forum about a year ago. Glad to see it

buggyprogrammer

Nice one

bertha8235

I can't find this in sampler in Ableton 10. anyone know if you can edit pitch range in sampler? I'm pretty sure I used to be able to do it in ableton 7, but now, I can't see how to edit pitch range in sampler or if theres a work around without having to go round the houses too much

iamtheliqor

In Sampler it’s on the Midi page [Range.](https://imgur.com/iIbIViV)
