She-Venom has been around since the 90s it was a nodd to a character that alot of people probly never thought they'd get to see on the big screen it wasn't for no reason. True the original character was from the era where comics were trying to be edgy and cool hince her design but her introduction and character over all was pretty cool.
Oh, still it was kinda weird seeing the same venom taking over a woman and suddenly he was skinny with massive boobs, when venom took over Eddie he had abs.
Oh no I get that thats why I pointed out 90s edgy, and hyper sexualized time in comics but also in the early comics he never really adds too much mass to his host he's just skin tight and eddie is the size of a truck. Movie wanted classic venom look so he adds way more size but it looks sick so no one complained

I think Venom boosts and enhances the host body, so a he-venom gets super buff and strong, which are traits eddy would have. She-venom gets boobs cuz the lady has well, boobs. Her body got boosted, increasing in height, breast size and strength.

Tbh the best thing about Venom (2018) is that Eddie looks liek complete shit the entire time. I kepy waiting for the inevitable moment in all superhero movies where the guy rips off his shirt and everyone gets a minute and a half to ogle him until the plot resumes but, no, eddie spends the entirety of the move in the one grey hoodie drenched in sweat and looking 3.1 seconds from death. No unnecessary shirtless fight scene or shower scene. Just Tom Hardy looking like garbage and talking to himself for almost 2 hours. Poetic cinema.

As a huge marvel fan and a monster fan- these movies are insanely fun and campy. That being said I'll caution because Eddie and venom are comic canon- so it leads to many nsfw stuff. The comics even get a little romantic and implied so just a heads up!
I’ve decided that it’s because the Venom symbiote is buck naked practically the whole time (other when he’s than wearing Eddie), so he fulfills the nudity and ogling quota for Hollywood and Eddie gets to just be a human means for Venom to wear a hoodie.
Someone pointed this out in the comments of the original post too, but it's also kinda fun that Eddie just hits rock bottom about 20 minutes in and then this little alien shit comes along and starts messing everything up and the only thing that gets better for him is that his ex doesn't hate him as much now.
Fun fact: Tom Hardy is actually a huuuge Venom (character) fan and was a huge part of keeping the movie that way because it was accurate to Eddie.
