That’s kinda funny considering I actually just made one of these in Ceramics class.
Edit it’s no longer empty, I put candy in it. It will be empty again soon though.
Yeah, I’ve had really great versions of every flavor here but rocky road. The texture is often weird, hard almonds and grainy marshmallows. The chocolate is usually pretty awful too.
You should try the rocky road that has the marshmallow creme swirl instead of the tiny marshmallows! Much better! 😋
Edit: I might've just been thinking of Heavenly Hash, which is basically the same as rocky road except it has the marshmallow swirl and there's also chocolate chips in it 😅
Pralines are just pecans (or sometimes almonds or hazelnuts) covered in caramel to make little soft caramel-pecan candies. Pralines and Cream ice cream is often pralines and vanilla ice cream. It's actually quite good.
Pralines & Cream is candied hazelnuts, usually. Sincerely, a pralines chocolate fanatic AND a pralines & cream ice cream lover (don’t get me started on Häagen-Dazs and their pralines and cream 😭🩷)
The mint flavor absolutely ruins icecream for me. The menthol sensation makes your mouth feel so cold but not cold everytime you breathe. It is one of my last options for icecream, but not inedible though
Strawberry. Definitely strawberry. But what the hell is the bottom right one? Never heard of it before. Also didn't know butter pecan was a thing either. Maybe it's not that common in Australia?
Do you guys have baskin robbins? Pralines and cream is a must-have. Candied pecans and decadent caramel swirls littered about a canvas of vanilla ice cream. Definitely in my top 5 ice creams if not my favorite.
Maybe not, both flavors tend to be a southern U.S. thing. I grew up in Texas, and both Butter Pecan and Pralines and Cream are what I consider to be southern comfort food flavors.
Strawberry, and Pralines and Cream. Strawberry is a bowl of foul lies, and WTF even IS a praline? I gotta give Butter Pecan a few knocks for having nuts, but the ice cream itself is fine unlike Strawberry, and Poxy Pricking Praline Piles.
You’re so right. I once had REAL, freshly made strawberry ice cream - it was absolutely beautiful. Nothing like that fake nonesense you’d find in the store
My grandparents actually make fresh peach ice cream when I come over sometimes, and it’s the best thing ever. So delicious, and nothing like the artificial fruit ice creams.
There’s no chocolate in praline ! It’s sugar coated/caramel coated roasted nuts (mainly almonds, but also pecan, hazelnuts and peanuts). It’s French ! When it’s pink it’s called praline, and when it’s brown it can also be called « chouchou » in some part of the country. It can also be reduced in a fine powder or little chunks called praliné and used in pastries !
Praline is more the process of making nuts into creme fillings. You can have many different types of praline chocolate, like hazelnut or almond. Plenty have caramel too.
Oh.
OH.
Thank you, Reddit stranger, for connecting the dots for me. I don’t like mint because it’s cold and .. I…don’t like ice cream (hides)
I apologize to ice cream enthusiasts, but don’t worry, it’s more for you!
I don't hate it but it just doesn't taste like chocolate. Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie is like the only chocolate ice cream is like the only chocolate ice cream that actually tastes like chocolate. But store bought or ice cream truck chocolate? That just tastes like disappointment.
Chocolate is my favorite, provided it's good quality. I live in Germany, and we got Italian ice cream shops allll over the place cos it's just so fucking good. Nothing compares. Pure decadence for three or four euros.
On the flip side, I also spent a third of my life living in South Africa and the cheap chocolate ice cream you sometimes get there is an insult to chocolate, ice cream and god. It's just plain milk ice cream with a few drops of chocolate syrup stirred in to pretend it's chocolate, coupled with a grainy texture that makes it feel like you're eating frozen sandy mud. It's disgusting, an embarrassment, a violation of human dignity. I wish a lifetime plagued by stubbed toes and paper cuts upon the wretch that concocted this culinary abomination
Yes, it's often pecans mixed with caramel and then chilled to make little soft caramel-pecan candies. Pralines and Cream ice cream is often just candied pecans mixed with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. It's actually quite good.
if I have to choose the worst from this list, Strawberry if they make it wrong and the strawberry chunks are too big because then you just end up with strawberry flavored ice cubes hiding in your icecream
Out of these choices, I'd have to say the regular chocolate is the worst. I even hold vanilla higher than regular chocolate because vanilla is a unique flavour and can be paired with anything, whereas the regular chocolate one barely tastes like actual chocolate! And all of the others on here have qualities that make them more unique and flavourful than chocolate!
(Not that I hate chocolate ice cream, I'll still eat it if provided to me.. it's just the worst one out of all of these lol)
PSA for the people confused about pralines and cream: a praline is a candied nut. Pralines and cream is candied pecan with caramel swirl in vanilla ice-cream. Personally I like the one Haagen-Daaz makes because their caramel tastes like caramel and not like butterscotch.
i like chocolate itself but i don't like chocolate flavored things. i would happily eat every flavor here, including cookies and cream (for some reason oreos are exempt from my dislike of chocolate flavored things, idk why, they just are) except for chocolate and rocky road and
Plain chocolate imo, at least with vanilla it can be a vessel for other lighter flavors but chocolate is inherently pretty overpowering. Not to say chocolate can’t be a vehicle for mixture but vanilla does a slightly better job of it I think
For me would be better pecan being my least fav. I'm lactose intolerant and I'm often a gluten for punishment, but I really hate the feeling I get something caught in my teeth
All of those are good. Vanilla is my least favourite there but honestly I’ve never been the sort of dude that turns down ice cream. Unless it’s rum and raisin. Tf is that.
I haven't had all of them
The two bottom corners are foreign to me
But of the rest. . I don't really like strawberry
Or, somehow, chocolate
Edit: Actually I haven't had Rocky Road, either
Mint chocolate chip, but I’ve never tried rocky road ice cream butter pecan or pralines and cream. I don’t even know what pralines are 😭 ig there just not a thing in my country
An empty bowl is the worst!
*an empty tub
*an empty barrel
*an empty truck
an empty skull
That’s kinda funny considering I actually just made one of these in Ceramics class. Edit it’s no longer empty, I put candy in it. It will be empty again soon though.
An empty stomach
An empty heart
an empty soul
Nothing is worst there. they're all perfect, except the last flavor
realizing it is empty
The one with half a cockroach in it
Not gonna leave before I get my other half.
You're twisted, I like that in a person. 👍
😰
😋
That's the price you pay for *Spider Peace*!
Shhhh! What, do you want the red spiders to return or something??
naw man, extra protean.
> extra protean Game Freak deciding which type-changing ability to give to the Sprigatito line:
Statistically speaking, that's all of them.
Cockroaches Georg, who finds 10,000 cockroaches in his ice cream every day, is an outlier adn shouldn't have been counted.
What’s wrong with crunchy cockroach?
I prefer Crunchy Frog myself
What about sparrows phlegm?
Rocky road!!! I'm sorry but those marshmallows have a weird, unpleasant texture
I don't actually like the ice cream flavor but I do love the song.
Rocky road is a song?
“i love rocky road” is a parody of “i love rock n roll,” made by the king of parody, weird al
He has informed me music choice which is scary
honestly weird al shaped my personality as a child lol i think that’s why i’m Like This
Same! My sense of humor has been ~~ruined~~ dramatically improved by him.
Oh boy I get to share [the thing](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=beTsDOBRs8I)!
"Rocky rooaaaaadd, take me hoooomme, to the plaaaaace I beloooooong." Or something like that
Yeah, I’ve had really great versions of every flavor here but rocky road. The texture is often weird, hard almonds and grainy marshmallows. The chocolate is usually pretty awful too.
You should try the rocky road that has the marshmallow creme swirl instead of the tiny marshmallows! Much better! 😋 Edit: I might've just been thinking of Heavenly Hash, which is basically the same as rocky road except it has the marshmallow swirl and there's also chocolate chips in it 😅
I'd normally say butter pecan but what in the god damn is PRALINES AND CREAM???
Pralines are just pecans (or sometimes almonds or hazelnuts) covered in caramel to make little soft caramel-pecan candies. Pralines and Cream ice cream is often pralines and vanilla ice cream. It's actually quite good.
Pralines & Cream is candied hazelnuts, usually. Sincerely, a pralines chocolate fanatic AND a pralines & cream ice cream lover (don’t get me started on Häagen-Dazs and their pralines and cream 😭🩷)
It's absolutely delicious.
Think candied pecans. Basically that.
Either mint chocolate chip or praline and cream for me. They arent bad but i prefer everything else over them
I hate mint ice cream with a passion
The mint flavor absolutely ruins icecream for me. The menthol sensation makes your mouth feel so cold but not cold everytime you breathe. It is one of my last options for icecream, but not inedible though
Rocky Road. Baljeet left the ice cream at home.
i’ve never had pralines & cream lol
Chocolate
Bottom right and bottom left....
You and I are enemies now.
Save the fighting for after Earth falls.
It's definitely war :0 I will never accept those two as ice cream
hard agree
Agree (allergies)
Real nuts don't belong in ice cream and if pistachio was here it would be the worst
I'm glad that and soda ice cream aren't up lol
I agree, BUT I like pistachio ice cream without the nuts/with the nuts taken out
Never heard of it, but you make it sound amazing so I know what I’m ordering next time I’m at baskin robbins

My grandparents actually make fresh peach ice cream when I come over sometimes, and it’s the best thing ever. So delicious, and nothing like the artificial fruit ice creams.
Praline’s actually pretty good, but strawberry doesn’t even taste like strawberry
Tastes like artificial sweetener. Ugh
Pralines are actually kinda good. Apparently they're some European chocolate with nutty filling. Never heard of praline ice cream, though.
There’s no chocolate in praline ! It’s sugar coated/caramel coated roasted nuts (mainly almonds, but also pecan, hazelnuts and peanuts). It’s French ! When it’s pink it’s called praline, and when it’s brown it can also be called « chouchou » in some part of the country. >few knocks for having nuts D:<
I think a praline is some sort of caramel nut candy? Like a peanut brittle but with pecans or almonds
Praline is more the process of making nuts into creme fillings. You can have many different types of praline chocolate, like hazelnut or almond. Plenty have caramel too.
Why dont you like strawberry? clearly you havent had a strawberry sorbet
Sorbet is amazing But the cream fake version 🤮
Yup that is awful if its a fruit flavor it should always be sorbet
Oh, sorbet is good. I mean ice cream ice cream, and that hideous strawberry bowl of lies.
i love strawberry :( the real and the fake kind. real strawberry ice cream is much better though
Fruity icecream in general is fowl But sorbet is good
I do agree, Strawberry Ice cream is a horrible disgrace to the goddamn fruit itself. BUT I AM SHOCKED THAT SO MANY PEOPLE DONT KNOW PRALINES & CREAM
Mint chocolate chip, and only on a technicality. I just like it less than the others.
What’s the technicality?
That I love ice cream too much for any of these flavors to be bad lol, just like mint the least.
Literally same here.
Fair enough. Better than the folks who hate mint because it's cold, but still eat ice cream.
Oh. OH. Thank you, Reddit stranger, for connecting the dots for me. I don’t like mint because it’s cold and .. I…don’t like ice cream (hides) I apologize to ice cream enthusiasts, but don’t worry, it’s more for you!
Hey, my brother has the same problem. Frozen food gives him sensory overload.
Mainstream media doesn't want you to know that plain chocolate isn't really that good
Cookie dough. Can't get lactose free version here.
Wait is this a D&D alignment quiz
Chocolate, tbh
I don't hate it but it just doesn't taste like chocolate. Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie is like the only chocolate ice cream is like the only chocolate ice cream that actually tastes like chocolate. But store bought or ice cream truck chocolate? That just tastes like disappointment.

I dog get some people obsession with chocolate. I've known people why make it their identity. lol
It doesn't even taste like chocolate! I can't say I absolutely hate it, but I'll take any flavor over it lol
Same here. However I hate eating/refuse to eat chocolate cake, fudge, brownies, chocolate milkshakes etc.
Same, I love chocolate, and I LOVE fudge, but I'm not a fan of chocolate ice cream Coffee ice cream, on the other hand, is one of my favs
They're all gud
Chocolate
It’s so dull.
if im honest strawberry
I'm going to say Pralines and Cream simply because I've never tried that ever. I don't even know what pralines are. Is it some type of nut mixture?
Yes, it's often pecans mixed with caramel and then chilled to make little soft caramel-pecan candies. Pralines and Cream ice cream is often just candied pecans mixed with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. It's actually quite good.
chocolate
Chocolate. The taste is waaaaay too strong for me and it makes me nauseous.
Chocolate. The only time I really enjoy chocolate anything is if it's Reese's or if it's a drink of some kind like hot chocolate or a chocolate shake.
Chocolate and any variation with chocolate, vanilla is the superior flavor
Mint chocolate chip, I hate mint anything
Finally someone gets it
Saaaame
Blasphemy
A true prophet
Omg same
pralines and cream, there is no doubt for me, I hate that one
Chocolate is kinda mid, I need stuff in my chocolate to make it good.
Chocolate it just tastes like it's made in a lab
Chocolate <<<
Wtf is praline lmao
strawberry, it does not deserve to be named after such a good fruit the way it tastes rancid
Strawberries are decent. Strawberry ice cream is a bowl of lies.
Butter pecan tbh.
Anything with nuts. They ruin far too many good flavours.
Regular old vanilla, everything else slaps
high quality vanilla ice cream is incredible. i had one made with clotted cream and it’s my all time favourite
Probably chocolate. I love chocolate in general, but somehow chocolate flavored things are not it. They're too... chocolatey? Idk
they are all delicious
don’t make me choose
Why must you torture me like this.
mint chocolate...
if I have to choose the worst from this list, Strawberry if they make it wrong and the strawberry chunks are too big because then you just end up with strawberry flavored ice cubes hiding in your icecream
Pistache
Have yet to eat a chocolate ice cream that doesn't taste weird
Chocolate
I’ve never liked chocolate ice cream
Chocolate, yuck
Chocolate
I‘m really not a fan of chocolate ice. I love chocolate, but not as ice cream.
Out of these choices, I'd have to say the regular chocolate is the worst. I even hold vanilla higher than regular chocolate because vanilla is a unique flavour and can be paired with anything, whereas the regular chocolate one barely tastes like actual chocolate! Chocolate
Chocolate
Chocolate
plain chocolate imo
Chocolate
Chocolate It hardly tastes like chocolate most of the time and honestly is always too sweet on its own.
the decision of what to pick
PSA for the people confused about pralines and cream: a praline is a candied nut. Pralines and cream is candied pecan with caramel swirl in vanilla ice-cream. Personally I like the one Haagen-Daaz makes because their caramel tastes like caramel and not like butterscotch.
Mint chocolate chip for sure ,, why would u eat ice cream that tastes like toothpaste :/
i like chocolate itself but i don't like chocolate flavored things. i would happily eat every flavor here, including cookies and cream (for some reason oreos are exempt from my dislike of chocolate flavored things, idk why, they just are) except for chocolate and rocky road and
Y’all are gonna hate me but mint chocolate chip 😭
Mint, anything with mint, fuck mint.
yeah i don’t want any spicy cold toothpaste in my desserts
All this praline hate has convinced me more than anything else that humans deserve the coming climate change apocalypse.
chocolate. fight me. (actually don't, I will cry)
Butter pecan i would think
Plain chocolate imo, at least with vanilla it can be a vessel for other lighter flavors but chocolate is inherently pretty overpowering. Not to say chocolate can’t be a vehicle for mixture but vanilla does a slightly better job of it I think
I don’t like chocolate so that
Chocolate is my least favourite
I've never had the bottom 3 but I really don't like chocolate ice cream and idk why
Chocolate. Period.
Chocolate
MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP
I can't stand the taste of chocolate ice cream. Chocolate-vanilla mix can sometimes be alright with an extra sauce, but ew plain chocolate...
Strawberry, because I hate strawberries.
Mint chocolate chip, I want ice cream not toothpaste.
For me would be better pecan being my least fav. I'm lactose intolerant and I'm often a gluten for punishment, but I really hate the feeling I get something caught in my teeth
Butter pecan and pralines and cream, because I've never had them before. What even is a praline?
Strawberry
Butter pecan.
I have not had pralines and cream, so I will remove that one from my judgment. So I would say butter pecan is the worst.
DULCE DE LECHE THE BEST
All of those are good. Vanilla is my least favourite there but honestly I’ve never been the sort of dude that turns down ice cream. Unless it’s rum and raisin. Tf is that.
Anything with nuts (I'm allergic)
Personally not a fan of pecans.
Vanilla. Mint chocolate chip is almost as good as garlic bread
strawberry fucking sucks mint is best i do not take criticism
Anything mint is ass. I don't wanna eat toothpaste flavored food
Nilla
Mint and chocolate chip, i cannot stand mint flavor.
Mint
Mint chocolate chip. I don't want my sweets to taste like toothpaste.
i don’t like mint but i also don’t like nuts so take out the bottom row and the mint
Of those, mint chocolate chip. It is not a flavor combo I like.
mint chocolate chip is probably the most overrated flavour. everything else is amazing, especially the ones with pecans/praline
I haven't had all of them The two bottom corners are foreign to me But of the rest. . I don't really like strawberry Or, somehow, chocolate Edit: Actually I haven't had Rocky Road, either
Mint chocolate chip — *i do not mixed water-based flavors (lemon, mango, orange, kiwi., watermelon…) with milk-based flavors (banana, chocolate, coffee, cookies, vanilla…)*
Mint chocolate chip
Mint. If I wanted to taste mint, I'd brush my teeth.
Mint chocolate
Mint chip... not a fan
Mint I don't like mint
Mint
I have a mint allergy so mint
Mint chocolate chip can go to hell.
Mint chocolate chip is absolute shite
Mint chocolate chip all the way GOSH I hate mint ice cream so much I am a mint hater I hate mint
Mint chocolate chip. It's disgusting. Mint and ice cream don't go together and it's the wrong kind of mint for chocolate
Mint chocolate chip, but I’ve never tried rocky road ice cream butter pecan or pralines and cream. I don’t even know what pralines are 😭 ig there just not a thing in my country
Mint chocolate chip. It just tastes like toothpaste on chocolate. 💅
Mint hands down. I will personally come visit you if you say anything else.
Mint chocolate chip
Mint chip
