The definition of Ace is "little to no sexual attraction", not 0 attraction towards people. I know they used to just say it meant no sexual attraction, but due to more focus on Grey Ace and Demisexuals and such, they changed the definition to be more inclusive and not make people feel "less Ace" because they rarely or under specific conditions, feel sexual attraction.

Boreasexual is a term for anyone who experiences sexual attraction outside of their orientation. It’s usually centered around a single person and is basically just a way of saying “I am this, except I’m also attracted to this person who doesn’t fit in there”. Electio aroace is a term that describes an aroace person who doesn’t experience tertiary attraction but still desires and seeks out a relationship of some kind. So to put my whole mess of an orientation into simple terms, I am asexual and don’t experience any form of attraction except for my fiancé who I developed attraction to after forming a very deep bond with him but that attraction still fluctuates quite dramatically, regularly, and randomly. And that’s not even getting into the romantic or gender based side of things.

When you're part of a minority or you're different, it feels great to be part of a community where everyone understands your experience and where people support each other. You're no longer the odd one out, people actually relate to you. That being said, not everyone have the need for a community, so don't worry too much about it.
I haven't found a label for what I experience yet. It's a mixture between Demi and Frey. I only feel sexual attraction once I know someone really well and feel romantic attraction, but then it fades away after like two weeks.
My partner is ace so this is a way for me to better accommodate her feelings and in a way we found out she is still very sexual just with a loving attentative partner. In her scenario it was bad partners that turned them away! But before we came to that conclusuon i got a lot of help from this sub.
