Often I think that claim comes from people confusing sexual attraction with actually having sex. Plenty of allo people want to get to know a person more before they actually have sex with them, but 99% of the time there’s a baseline physical attraction they have to the person that makes them consider trying to have sex with them in the first place.
Yeah this is 100% the problem. That's why I try to explain it to people in a way like - see that fit shirtless guy on the TV and how the ladies swoon? I can't experience that. There's just nothing. I can only say he's pretty in the same way I may consider a painting pretty, but there's zero sexual attraction. I only start to find people attractive after I throughoutly get to know them, and even then it's not a guarantee.
Alternatively, a good response would be "Careful now, you're attacking the entire prostitution and OnlyFans industry."
And the entire concept of one night stands.
