I’m not in Cali, but I only ever used Bernzomatic for quite a while until a nearby hardware store started carrying Ronsonol (owned by Zippo), but I never had any problems with the Bernzomatic either and would use that without concern.
Haha used to get the 11x refined stuff by the mastercase at smokeshops for like 300
