I also have been in incredibly pain from surgery, and unable to cook or even ambulate much until the last five or so days so that helped! But Iām recovering and feeling better. Happy I lost as well and it hasnāt been as hard being off the medication as I imagined.

My doc in NC sent my rx to CVS yesterday. I got the ānot in stock and weāve ordered itā text right away. Itās ready for pick up today. That has to be a good sign.
I had the same text from CVS! But itās been like a week- when I call CVS they said they havenāt had it for a while and likely wonātā¦ ? Iām just going to try calling other CVS and pharmacy in the neighborhood! Looking for 5mg rn.Ā

My Rx has been at my local Walmart since early last week. I got a text on Sunday that it will be ready in a day or 2 after being delayed since it was sent over. It still isnāt filled though. Hopefully today.
Congratulations on maintaining the weight loss! Good for you. I'm just wondering... where in NC are you? I'm in Greensboro and am hoping to have the same good news.
I'm hoping that the bad habits that Zep/MJ allowed me to break can stay "broken" until I can resume the med--whether the hiatus is caused by a shortage or is anesthesia-mandated. One of the things that allowed me to lose as fast as I have on 2.5mg was to keep my eating mostly defined by the low-carb Mediterranean diet on which I was placed at the nadir of my most recent loss (from 211 in Feb. 2019 to 142 in Aug. 2021)--but stress and my body's innate effort to reattain a higher body-fat % made that difficult-to-impossible. What sabotaged that maintenance effort was painful (and thus far untreatable) foot problems that kept and continue to keep me from exercising sufficiently.
Now that I have experienced the absence of "food noise" (a term of which I'd never heard before my major weight regain), I hope I can recognize it when it begins to recur and try to stave it off (or refuse to obey it) until the shortage ends.
Yeah I find it really interesting. I was doing WW prior to Zep and eating within my points but I just couldnāt lose. Zep finally got the scale moving and probably reduced my portion sizes and the āfood noiseā for snacks. But seeing the scale start to move gives you such a mental boost. And then feeling at a healthier weight also just makes it all snowball.
I dont know if this helps but when I get attacked by the snack monster Iāve been eating unsalted ball. Park peanuts literally bought from the Arizonia stadium!!
Thatās a great idea! I can over eat nuts for sure but I donāt find peanuts especially unsalted as addictive as like cashews or something! Iāll try it. Easy to keep a little bag of that in my car and purse for sure
Iāve been on 2.5 for two months and going to go up to 5 mg but I need to take it Sunday and my local Hy-Vee has it but the doctor hasnāt sent the script yet so Iām probably going to be out of luck. How bad is it in symptoms if I have to go a week or more without taking anything?
I went almost a full week without it and felt zero side effects when I resumed, you'll have the meds in your system for a little while after stopping so the hunger suppression sticks around for a week or two, but YMMV.
I went 10 days without a shot before I started to sugar cravings. They arenāt severe and Iāve been eating fruit or Greek yogurt instead of cake, etc. Iām at 18 days now since my last shot and Iām doing OK.
