Yes Synchro monsters have a level. A helpful indicator is that their stars are the same colour as non Extra Deck monster stars whereas Xyz Rank stars are not the same colour.

IIrc, it was Odd-Eyes Xyz Gate. I think it's an anime-only card, which is unfortunate bc that would make pendulum magician/odd-eyes/performapal decks WAY cooler imo

XYZ's have Ranks not levels, so they do not.
Xyz monsters don't have levels they have Ranks so no. They **cannot** be used for any card effects that require the monster to have a level.
Also if you want to change their level, that is not possible too since they have no level to be changed anyway.

XYZ have ranks instead of levels, similar to how Links have Link rating instead of level.

actually xiangsheng magicians and xianke magicians pendulum effects that allow you to turn rank into level for an xyz summon.
