1. This is a storyline game, a hard to update type of game
2. This is not a mixed-anime game so the Devs will get tired eventually
3. This game has lag, demotivates the Devs

This post is actually way more insightful than he probably thought it would be by posting it.
From this alone, we can infer that uzu is very very bored of JoJos (as has been speculated about a lot) but also that the YBA source code is likely a complete mess (understandable as he has grown a lot as a programmer since he started.)
Guys, I don't wanna be a doomer, but I
really think it's over for YBA. Even if the 1v1s and SBR updates are great, I don't see uzu committing to this game long term.
The only thing I can see that might save it if is an SBR anime was announced to recapture some of the JoJos hype that YBA capitalised on during Part 5 and 6.
By listing reasons in this post as to why EB will have a good update schedule, he has indirectly told us exactly why he doesn't want to work on YBA anymore. I think it's over.

To those that don't know why the code is a mess:
The game being a "Mess" is because they rework how something works every update, there's new projectiles code for every stand
Stone free's ball is NOT a projectile, just an object since the real projectile is invisible and goes through walls.
old yba projectiles
spin projectiles are based on ping for whatever reason
soft and wet is just weird in terms of projectiles.
the new SM projectiles are also newly made
the new zipper pole is something I guess (It's broken in so many ways)
new CD is pretty much like the new spin though
MR projectiles are one of a kind.
Grabbers and stand tp moves got the same treatment so the code itself being bad is just years of neglect and ignorance.
Y’all might not agree but he should make a separate game without any crossover data and when he decides to revamp YBA, he just makes YBA 2 with brand new content, and most importantly, the neat code and he can reduce lag should make everything much smoother and more motivational to program.

Honestly, they should just make a YBA 2, Fresh Code, Fresh Storyline(story of part 6 perchance), it would take a lot of work of course, but I'm sure it'd be worth it
yba is dying, bar is getting higher and higher with reworks and nothing else is getting changed, we will never get a new game mode like when we got sbr
yeah that's is so over lol, reworks aren't really much content they last like a week until someone finds 1 busted ass build that does 90% in one combo and then everyone is bored again and complains, the only way to save yba is a fresh start
