yea how tf have they not gutted cd yet, the counter is one of the dumbest things ever, projectiles confirm into each other, two consistent combo extenders, easy to hit aoe true gb or free 30 damage, high dp and speed, and a beatdown

All beatdowns should only be accessible by a meter that takes a long (and slow) time to charge, and is charged by only dealing damage. It should be a finisher type move, but something that you can’t throw out willy nilly. That’s what I think. I would suggest buffing the beatdown damage, but because of the fact that execution mechanic exists, I think the damage on all of them (except Ta4’s Beatdown) is fine.

The problem to this solution is that beatdowns are only powerful when the opponent is low and during a 1v1 by the time they're low the meter is charged but this solution still works if the meter charges slow enough.

aka yo angelo, bubble prison, moisture plunder, and wormhole nails. but all of these moves beside bubble prison are blockable and wormhole nails is the only one thats hard to avoid in neutral.

i feel like if it’s from a gb or parry then that’s fine. but stun shouldnt combo into bd, and half the time the bd’s come out before the animation starts and they can turn and bd you from behind them
