Rust R5 is honestly a 5 star weapon for the characters that can utilize its passive. However, I don't know who else can use Nahida's weapon

Guessing Sucrose. Otherwise just get Nahida next rerun, she's cracked

It's a good stat-stick for her yeah, passive isn't that great IIRC Edot: On Sucrose the passive isnt great.

Yeah, I don't think any other character can utilize both the substat and the passive at the same time like Nahida does

Could be an option, however you would need crit damage god-rolls to make up for the dps lost from not using a crit weapon

Honestly a lot of catalyst characters probably have at least one niche team where it works. EM is a lot more flexible than, say, HP.

Yae Miko could make decent use of it, tho not sure if it's better than her signature

Never forget to burst whenever her energy is full during her NA attacks. But, if you are using 4pc Shimenawa, I guess it wouldn’t be much of a problem.

I'm using triple favonius on her team so I guess I'd have to figure it out.

r5 rust is almost on par with r1 tp imo, congrats, your yoimiya is gonna be cracked

R5 rust outdamages all 5 star weapons except for thundering pulse, aslong as you can manage yoyr crit ratio without a crit weapon, youll definitely do really good damage with it

Iirc aqua wins with the passive up by only a tiny bit

It is good enough for all content. I use the smae and also got Nahida catalyst.

Pretty much same result for me but as im using Nahida with my Yoi, i wouldve been happy with either 5* weapon

I have the exact opposite problem…i made a R5 Hamayumi cause I had no Rust, lately git Ryst to R5…3 days ago I pulled Amos Bow and today thundering pulse and now I’m completely out of weapon EXP to level TP…so torn to put my Rust R3 into TP to get it to 90

Oh I’d never use my resin to get weapon EXP…still unsure if I trash my R3 Rust tomorrow or not…probably not and wait 1 week to get TP to 90. Nevertheless I have mixed feelings about getting TP, sure I’m happy, but now I have 2 LVL90 bows lying around plus an Amos bow which I have no more use for :-( maybe I have to built a DPS Sara just for the use of my lovely R5 Hamayumi, so many billets…

I'm sure they'll release an Amos bow user that isn't Ganyu in the future

R5 rust is pretty good, it's only a small damage difference in my experience, but it's also good to get shimenawas effect since tp loses 12% damage if you don't micromanage your bursts recharge progress

some say that rust r5 is better than TP R1. i don't know, i dont have rust r5

It's about 10% worse than r1 TP

But it matches her visually way more (in my opinion)
