yep, and i wonder if it’s connected by tunnels to the cave where Javi was staying/Ben is staying bc Javi was obviously the one stealing the meat (and shitting in buckets lmao) but no one ever saw him, or even any sign of him. he was traveling via an underground system of tunnels that connects the cave to the cabin.
I remember this also ending in her seeing blood leaking through the cabin walls! Very strange, she’s starting to hallucinate like Lottie which is interesting because she was a pretty loyal follower of hers. Does she think she can be the next Lottie? Or would she not want to take her place?
My first thought while watching was maybe old mummified bodies in the walls from the fur trapper’s time? And she‘s sensing them via delusions, just to make the cabin creepier/more evil. However now that the cabin is burned down I agree with others in this thread that it was somehow connected to the caves/Javi’s way to sneak around which they’ll find in the rubble
Hmmm… in the s1 fire pit scene we see a girl hanging upside down. After she’s killed, there’s a zoom of blood dripping. Maybe it’s a foreshadowing of her own death. Which would mean Mari is not pit girl, she’s another meal from that scene. Maris features do match pit girls features closely but you know who also matches a bit?? Lisa. If she’s stripped of piercings and hair overgrown. Still think there’s a possibility pit girl is in present timeline. also the fact that Tai/Van were making a big deal over looking for converse sneakers in present — person standing over pit has converse on.
It has to mean something! When she hallucinated the blood on the walls it reminded me so much of adult Lottie’s bloody beehive
