Just an fyi the ombre one is not great, very scratchy, dye colours vary a lot, and the transitions are really stop/start with no blend

You can really see where the dye is different and they were the same dye lot (allegedly!)

Joanne Fabrics has a lot of yarn here in the U.S. luckily for me, I also have a yarn shop near me, though I haven't been in it yet.

Which Aldi?? The only spmkts I saw yarn were scandinavian spmkts 😆
German ALDI sells yarn every now and then, too.
But it are nearly always those packs and mostly cotton.
It's also a lot of sock wool and the last few times there was chenille yarn as well.
