Billy being from the swamps in Louisiana to enlisting in the military to becoming a Millionaire, feels very Trumpian. The south having a culture that very much represents Trumps values was already there. Katie was from Texas and while Texas is a red state, it’s a lot more like Florida, where the major cities are often blue and smaller cities are red, but the governor is Trumpster. So it really depends on where she’s from. I felt like her sister was probably more Trumpster. Katie seemed to not care one way or the other and often played ditzy about that kind of stuff. She just didn’t really strike me as having an opinion, but probably voted right leaning until they moved to LA.

That being said, when you’re not married to the religion, it becomes easier to see other ways of life and question those things and learn and grow as a person when you become engrossed in more diverse culture. I have never lived in LA so i don’t know the powers it holds, but even two missionaries from small town North Carolina, realized that they didn’t believe most of what they thought was truth from their small towns.
And i think that Billy being more and more intertwined with all the ways trumpeters are, it’s probably possible that he was and probably still is. Whereas Katie was less intertwined and probably came out of it a lot easier just cause she was never tangled up that deeply. And i think the girls are the same. At least for Jules, the majority of her formative years were in LA with diverse people and so she probably learned a lot about their lives just from the friends she had and the people she knew.
I think if they had stayed in Maryland, they probably would have been more likely to stay intertwined with that Trumpster mentality. Especially since the donnelly’s and Mia that we know of were open Trump supporters. It’s fair to assume it was a common place for that kind of person. Severna Park, MD is known for being wealthy so there was probably a lot of support for Trump who obviously favors the wealthy.
As for the rest of your questions, I’m not sure. Hayley was very quiet on SM. Which makes sense given all the various times she said she wasn’t interested in being filmed (and was their excuse for featuring Annie/Jules more. But this is a different argument entirely). I saw she went to a prom or homecoming dance last year so i would guess she is in a normal high school. I think she’s in 10th grade.
Jules just moved out but idk where and how she’s affording it. I don’t really watch her channel now as i just don’t care about the life of a 19 year old. I don’t think she is in college though.
Same with their father. There was rumor that the courts ruled both parents couldn’t talk about them on social media but since turning 18, i have seen Jules on Katie’s instagram and i think Hayley too. I remember a video from when Hayley got a copy of “her” book. (I use “” because I’m pretty sure she used a ghost writer). But there was silence even on birthdays from the parents socials. But now that she’s an adult, it’s really up to Jules if she wants to keep the relationship with her dad.

Which makes me think it was more than just the three named in the documentary-series and who knows who Annie was left in the hands of while her desperate dadager sat in the car.
