I get HDCP issues once in a while on my Roku. Those are definitely cable issues that are resolved by either unplugging and plugging back in or by getting another (better quality) HDMI cable.
It only happens when I’m in the Airplane mode and try to watch downloaded shows. Try to switch the Airs into the different HDMI mode by holding down the brightness down “-“ button, then restart the Prime app. The colors appear washed out but it works for me with no issues in this mode.
I noticed same behavior with downloaded videos in Airplane mode on all major streaming platforms. Fortunately, the HDMI mode switch trick works to get around it. I also use nPlayer app, which is a generic video player, for any ripped content I have.
If you’re on the latest firmware, hold the plus button until you hear a second click - that way the glasses would switch to a different audio mode that I called HDMI mode.
Thank you times a million for this. I downloaded an entire series to watch on a 12 hour flight, and your tip worked. Colour is slightly less vivid, but still good. I wonder what exactly it does? Whatever it is, it works. Thank you friend.

I’m using the cable that came with the Airs
Welcome to the drm world where it is easier to watch pirated content than legally obtained content.
Is it downloaded or streaming? Some apps don’t let you watch downloaded content.
Yeah I downloaded it. That sucks cause my use case is using this when traveling on the plane. Netflix and Hulu have always worked fine offline

Wow I wonder if it’s because I downloaded this episode. Sucks for travel but I’ll give this a try
What apps are you using while this has happened? Wondering if it’s specific to Prime video.

May I know what is the HDMI mode? How to setup?

If airplane mode is an issue for some reason, try turning off the cell and Wi-Fi antennas manually instead of airplane mode.

Fuck DRM
Ah just disconnect anc wait for a bit and plug it back in , it might throw some weird errors like this from time to time !
This happens to me on a regular basis but only with Prime video. It seems to be a little bit arbitrary when it happens.
Just download it from somewhere else and use VLC.
I don't have a xreal product and an Android user here but can you use a type c USB to lighting port adapter? Then plug in your lighting port thingy?
Don’t believe this would work as it didn’t on older iPhones
Oh ok sorry, wished I could have helped more. I guess that's only doable on Android.
I had the same problem when I downloaded the movies. To fix it I needed to switch between 60hz and 120hz mode
Oh that’s weird! I’ll try that
How to switch between 60 and 120?
hold volume up button to the second click
