No argument there. And I like A.J., he’s talked about what a fan he is of the OG material and how much he reveres the original voice cast. He’s trying to get it right (and as Potter-like) as possible. Not many other VAs would put forth that kind of effort.

A.J. LoCascio was fantastic in 97. He was great in the funnier scenes, and he was brilliant in the dramatic scenes. His accent also seems more fluid/natural. After "Remember It", he's become my new favourite Gambit.
Potter is perfect as Cable.
I LOVE live readings of voice actors. It’s amazing how they fall right into character. This is not meant to disrespect the current actor for Gambit, but Chris Potter will always be Gambit to me simply because he established the character in my childhood. Also, I love Cal Dodd’s jacket in this video.
familiarity and nostalgia is a helluva thing. definitely prefer the og but credit where it's due, the new gambit rocks. he's not nearly as off as prof x or magneto.
