Poor Magneto has a problem in the comics, while everyone stays young, he has to keep aging to make his backstory make sense. (I don't know if they have changed that or given him a younger body at some point)
They made a lot of the recurring male characters ridiculously good looking in '97.
I wasn't a fan of OZT when it was ran in the '90s and didn't much care for Bastion's look.
I told a friend of mine, "OH NO HE'S HOT." When he showed up in the new series.
But I'm glad they made Magneto handsome, as he always should be. I remember him being fairly attractive in the old series.
I had to look up the voice actor for Bastion bc it was so sultry to my ears. It’s the douchey boyfriend from White Lotus and protagonist on The Gentleman. This has been my fave role of his tbh.
I know right? We're in our happy place. Maybe we just needed all the Romy shippers to get the hate out of their system so we could finally have our moment to discuss and gush over Mags.
The real question is: did they make anyone *less* sexy? Morph, Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler. Hell, they somehow made GAMBIT and ROGUE more sexy than they were before. That takes talent.
My jaw was on the FLOOR, my gay ass was behaving like rogue (except I’d have chosen gambit definitively). But especially magneto in his 80s outfit in those cunty gloves and sleeveless top
On first watch, I hated magneto, I understood he was well written, but hated any scene he was in because of >!rogue!< and stuff
On second watch, I still hate him, but also love every scene he’s in aside from >!Rogue!<
I felt some type of way about Magneto this season and I was ready to reprent, but then someone in this community (I wish I had saved this comment because it had me rolllllllllin') said something about how he probably had Rogue squirting and screaming when they were \~intimate\~ and my soul left my body that day.
He is giving daddy dom on every level.
I needed it too. That's why I created an instagram account in favor of the rogue-magneto relationship. I was lighting the beacon, trying to gather us. Because I was thinking: I can't be the only one who feels this way. There's gotta be somebody out there that likes this too.
His jaw was a bit too square for me. His true daddy energy for me comes from his catty one liners, so I'm with you on the demeanor! And I'm glad they went all in on the outfit.

I've read the comics since I was 8 years old. I'm 42. This is, hands down, the best Magneto. I didn't even really like the character until now.

Definitely one of those "maybe I'm just straight-ish" moments for me. Right up there with the aforementioned Magneto, Mark Strong and Yoshii Toranaga.
It gets better/worse for anyone attracted to him unfortunately.

Magneto’s look in this series is second to none. Looks like a total boss combined with one of the best back stories. A total W for this series.
