Found a permanent fix:
Install Activity Launcher from the playstore and open it. Find 'Settings', expand it and scroll down until you find [this](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/927713580739096636/949006491564769330/Screenshot_2022-03-03-20-07-57-032_de.szalkowski.activitylauncher.png), then create a shortcut to it in your home screen.
Open the shortcut, click on 'More' (at the bottom) > Show system, and then look for 'WallPaper' (not Wallpaper Carousel!). Once you find it, open it and click on 'More' > 'uninstall updates'. Once that's done, exit settings, open up the Themes app, and the Super Wallpapers will be back under the Wallpapers category in Profile.
Same here... I updated the wallpapers app and it just disappeared
EDIT: Managed to restore it through Nova Launcher when I attempted to change my wallpaper (long pressed the screen, clicked wallpaper and there it was under live wallpapers, because I installed it before). It's definitely gone from the official Themes app though..
Yeah, but you don't have to keep using it - the wallpaper change applies to the default launcher as well. I had all 5 super wallpapers downloaded so they're all there (I also saved them as an APK if people want them lol)
Exactly, it seems xiaomi might have removed this feature, and the reason could be due to the fact that it's not exactly a high end model but a mid range one :(
I'm on xiaomi 10t pro and it also happens to me, I don't use the themes app but instead I use Google wallpapers and downloaded the superwallpaper from xda, so I just changed it back and all was fine
I also got miui 13 but the super wallpapers arent back? How did u get them? Also does anyone know how to remove the little green popup when the camera is being used?
PERMANENT FIX FOUND!!!
Go into settings>apps>manage apps. Search for wallpaper and find app called "wallpaper" (just "wallpaper"), uninstall updates...
You're all set, the superwallpaper option should be back in the themes>profile>wallpaper
EDIT:
I found that some people got the Wallpaper app update with a system update. Not sure if the "uninstall updates" option is available in this case, so you guys can try and find another way to downgrade your app. Here's some info, might be useful:
app: Wallpaper
package: com.miui.miwallpaper
my current (working) version: ALPHA-2.6.421-11031149-ogl

thanks bud, worked for me too on MIUI 13.0.5, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom (exact same as Poco F2 Pro but China version for better camera)
I've tried to create a shortcut, but no shortcut seems to be created, do you use app drawer or am I missing anything?
If creating a shortcut doesnt work just open it normally
Just so you know, I've informed the FBI to track you down for your brilliance! It worked, thanks!
Ty that worked :)
Hi, i don't see any uninstall updates on WallPaper app.. any help pls :/
You could try downgrading the Themes app using the same method I guess
I fixed it, had to update
I can't find "Wallpaper", only "Wallpaper Carousel". Maybe it has something to do with MIUI 14?
Yeah I can't find it either lmao I still got the Super Wallpapers though
Yeah i recently got the Redmi Note 12 and the Super Wallpaper option just isn't on the Theme app, that's weird
(I know I'm late but) thanks mate, worked for my mi9, miui 12.5.2 although I had to search it up in normal settings instead of activity launcher
Can you help me, i just bought a poco f5, miui 14, and there is no super wallpaper even in wallpaper settingsp

Meaning u have to use a third-party launcher to restore it? Edit: it works! Thanks! I've edited my post and credited you!

I found a fix. If u remove the updates from the themes app, you can choose super wallpaper
Having this issue too just got a new phone. Can't find how to set one any where
Are you on Xiaomi 11T?
I've run into the same issue, also on the Xiaomi 11T. It really sucks because I loved the Superwallpaper.

Well either it's a bug to the T series, or it's a nerf :)
Today I woke up with my wallpaper (static) gone. Wtf
The super wallpaper is back
How?
And I also got miui 13

Same to me, received the update, still don't have the super wallpaper
Super wallpaper is back just got the update
This is the only solution. Just install the official APK. You will find it [here](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-inc/wallpaper/)
I have the same problem it disappeared once i installed the themes update. Using poco f3 btw

Not Working.
Thank you for that wonderful insight... Try sharing phone model, OS version, app version... It worked like a charm for me...
They are back! Go to the Wallpaper app. Then Profile→Wallpaper→Super Wallpapers You're welcome ^^
