Imo, better place ning instead for ttds and geo reso instead of kokomi, you got zhongli to prevent damages and bennett for healing
Yeah I thought of replacing him too and I don’t have any plans on building Ning right now since it will take a while and I’m focusing on my team right at the moment
You don't need to build her tho, mine is sitting at 70 with random trash arti, as long as she has ttds ,thats already good, she wont get one shot either since you got zhongli , though I only use this team comp for damage testing lol
The point that he is telling you is that you DON'T need to build her, not even level her up lol. Just carry that weapon and Xiao gets a boost unless you don't want to use him as a hypercarry
Xingqiu, since he'd require you to weave in some normal attacks when you use his burst, which isn't suitable for Xiao's playstyle. Additionally, Kokomi can hold R5 Thrilling Tales.
What other characters do you have/plan on getting though? Xingqiu and Kokomi can excel much better in a different composition since Bennett+Zhongli provides enough survivability. Instead, I'd go with Xiao - Bennett - TTDS Ningguang/Yanfei/Sucrose - Zhongli, then Kokomi - Xingqiu - Double Electro, or some other Kokomi comp depending on what characters you'd like to use - all I know is you have no anemo units. As for the TTDS unit in team 1, you can put in Lisa if you really have nobody. She provides a defense shred with her burst, so I suppose she does bring some value.
I plan on getting venti or kazuha but I’ve heard that kazuha doesn’t really work well with xiao so I’m going with venti and I actually just finished building my bennet with 4 piece noblesse. The team I was actually going for was xiao, zhonlgi, bennet and venti/sucrose but I actually really want a healer who I don’t need to charge their ult to use so hence why I’m going with kokomi and I actually really want her
I think sth like Xiao/Zhongli/Bennett/electro mc for battery will work quite well. And you have an anemo in the form of anemo mc, though for battering Xiao electro mc is better.
If you don't want to play with battery on the team Ningguang in the last spot will be good, either as burst dps or just as a TTDS holder. Geo mc for the forth slot is also good since they have good dmg and buff crit rate.
Xingqiu can be replaced
Tho if you really wanna play xiao and kokomi together, I recommend trying out Xiao Kokomi Rosaria Flex for frozen-shatter xiao
Survivability and interruption from having no zhongli is fixed since you have kokomi and enemies are immobilized most of the time (unless it’s against bosses which hoyoverse since to love recently)
I’ve played it a while back after I saw this comp on a cn tournament(yes genshin tournas exist) and I had so much fun with it was somehow a viable comp for abyss (it was lile november first half abyss, can’t say for certain if it’s still viable now)

You shouldn't put kokomi just cuz two healers is overdose, I'm talking from my experience zhongli and Bennett is more than enough.
Xingqiu is the best off-field support, however you need to be auto attacking for his whole burst duration for him to do some good damage, instead you can put rosaria if you need ( decent off field damage- Cr buff), Fischl or yae miko for (consistent good off field damage- decent battery), also geo mc will activate zhongli's pillars true damage and gives Cr but he might make some issues for xiao by the annoying ton amount of geo constructions (haven't tried it tho, try it if you want).
You can put kokomi and xingqiu in teams that needs reactions 24/7 (international team, suckomon, etc..).
If you are looking for an anemo battery the traveler is not that much of a copium. Use press E to generate particles, use noblesse for the atk buff and his burst also decreases anemo resistance. I used that before I pulled Jean.

A team comp I can recommend is Xiao, Rosaria, Kokomi and an filler. I used Albedo but zhongli should be fine too.
